About: Hi I'm Alexis and I’ve been a pet sitter for friends and family off and on for the last six years. That means I’ve spent over half a decade figuring out exactly who really runs the house (spoiler: it’s usually the cat). I am currently home from college and my schedule is wide open till mid-July. I am available Monday through Sunday for full-time care, walks, and check-ins. Because I am not juggling classes right now, your pets are my main priority. Please note: I will be heading back to Arizona for the upcoming semester between August 13th-22nd, so I am looking for bookings that take place before that move. Until then, I have total flexibility to stick to your specific routine and provide plenty of companionship for your "babies." I provide care exclusively in the client's home, as I do not offer boarding in my own home at this time. This allows your pets to stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment while you are away. When I am in your home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own. I prioritize a "safety-first" environment by doing a quick sweep for anything your pet shouldn't get into and making sure all doors and gates are secure. I am very diligent about leashes and harnesses during walks to prevent any accidents. I believe trust is built through communication. You can expect regular photo updates so you know your pets are safe, happy, and following their normal rhythm. “Sidney did great with handling our dogs and cat through our "getting to know you" visits that we set up, and we agreed the last walk was not needed prior to the longer pet sitting, so "review" saying a dog walk was cancelled is not a negative on Sidney, just not necessary but she didn't cancel it electronically soon enough. About: I have worked for about 6 months in a doggy daycare facility, where I was able to enjoy keeping our customers fur babies happy and safe. Before that I was also volunteering at a private doggy daycare facility in Ireland, where I spent a few months taking care of all kind of dog breeds. About: I have worked at an animal hospital for 5 years total where I learned how to train dogs from Kathy Sadao who used to train the wales to relinquish the bombs for the Navy. I have owned large and XL breed dogs my whole life as well. I will treat your dog like a human child as they will be allowed on my furniture, my bed, and probably my kids beds as well. I have a little over 10 acres for them to play on. We are starting a small farm style residents and would love to shower your fur babies with love and attention. Since starting Rover, 90% of my clients are returning, and become part of our family as well. I have trained people’s dogs in the time I have had them along with help manage dogs anxiety’s to different things. I helped a water aggressive dog become no longer water aggressive. A dog who pulled on a leash so hard you couldn’t walk him to now, my 6 year old son walks him with no worries. I am a stay at home mom, but all my kids now go to school so your fur babies will have all my attention most of the time during the week.
