âMy fur baby was so happy when he met her. I had no doubt he was in good hands. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you for the pictures and the note đâ

âAmanda has been absolutely wonderful â not only as a dog walker, but as a truly kind and caring human. She has become someone we genuinely look forward to hearing from and have loved having as part of our pupsâ lives. We always enjoyed her thoughtful updates, sweet commentary, and little notes after each walk. It gave us so much comfort knowing our dogs were in such loving hands. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Amanda help us during such a busy and chaotic time, and weâre so grateful for the care, kindness, and joy she brought to our pups (and to us!). She is truly one of a kind! đđžâ

âMy name is Porgi the Corgi and I love my new friend Karen! She took me to my favorite playground; PLU campus. She can keep up with me better than my mahm's wheelchair. I'm super happy and ready for afternoon naps! Oh, yeah, mummy likes her, too. Kind, fun, friendly, and all kinds of nice words. ?â

âBobbi is the best! I never have to worry when she is scheduled to come see my dogs when I am at work. I appreciate her photos and visit summaries, and she checks in if there are any questions or concerns. So happy to have her close by!â

âI canât say enough about how awesome Tabitha has been. She interacts with Kai like he was her own and as she has been stellar in working with him along their walks and I can see a huge difference in his reactions to other animals that he normally would bark non stop at. Sheâs his calming soul!â

About: Hi I'm Alexis and Iâve been a pet sitter for friends and family off and on for the last six years. That means Iâve spent over half a decade figuring out exactly who really runs the house (spoiler: itâs usually the cat). I have spent that time mastering the art of the perfect walk and the "do-not-disturb-me" nap. Neighbors and family have always relied on me because they know I don't just "check in," I actually show up and spend quality time with their pets. My real-world training comes from my own crew. Back home in Washington, I have Me-low, a sweet Golden Retriever I personally trained, and LuLu, a spunky Maltipoo. While Iâm at college in Arizona, I share a home with our adopted gray tabby, Bambi. Having a mixed household of my own means I am a pro at balancing high dog energy with clear cat boundaries. What 6 Years of Experience Looks Like: Safety & Security: Whether it is a "Smooth Operator" cat or a dog that is "Born to Run," safety is my #1 priority. I have handled walks in busy areas and know how to keep pets calm around distractions. I am comfortable with all sizes, including 90lb breeds that think they are lap dogs. Cat Confidence: Thanks to Bambi, I am "fluent in cat." I know when they want to play with a feather toy and when they just want to be left alone to judge me from a distance. I respect their space while making sure they are happy and cared for. Specialized Care: I am comfortable following strict feeding schedules and administering oral medications. Whether it is a puppy in training like Me-low was or a senior pet who needs extra patience, I make sure they stay healthy and never skip a beat. Open Communication: I am big on keeping you in the loop. You will get regular photo updates and check-ins so you can see exactly how much fun your babies are having. I know the stress of being away, and I want you to feel at ease from wherever you are. My Promise to You I know how heavy it feels to leave your babies behind. To me, your pet isn't just a "booking"; they are the star of the show. Whether itâs high-energy walks or quiet "golden hour" naps, I promise that for every tail wag they give and every purr they make... Iâll be watching them. I am currently home from college and my schedule is wide open till mid-July. I am available Monday through Sunday for full-time care, walks, and check-ins. Because I am not juggling classes right now, your pets are my main priority. Please note: I will be heading back to Arizona for the upcoming semester between August 13th-22nd, so I am looking for bookings that take place before that move. Until then, I have total flexibility to stick to your specific routine and provide plenty of companionship for your "babies." I provide care exclusively in the client's home, as I do not offer boarding in my own home at this time. This allows your pets to stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment while you are away. When I am in your home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own. I prioritize a "safety-first" environment by doing a quick sweep for anything your pet shouldn't get into and making sure all doors and gates are secure. I am very diligent about leashes and harnesses during walks to prevent any accidents. I believe trust is built through communication. You can expect regular photo updates so you know your pets are safe, happy, and following their normal rhythm. Whether it is keeping a cat's litter area pristine or ensuring a dog gets their exact training commands, I am dedicated to maintaining your home exactly how you like it. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to ask!

About: I have had dogs all my life. After I moved out I raised a chocolate lab from 8 weeks old until he passed at 16 yrs. During that time frame I was also raising my Weimaraner at the same time! Both were high energy dogs (and Kaiser, my weim, still is). This has given me experience large breed, high energy dogs. I also have experience with elderly dogs. I am also no stranger to small dogs as I have also cared for my friends pomeranian. I am able to do drop ins before work, during lunch (depending on distanc), and after work. I am able to stay the night if necessary. My pets have full access to the house and are always well fed, cared for, and loved whether its play time or just hanging out watching TV.
About: I am only doing dog walking, drop in visits, & house sitting (just depends, sometimes I'd prefer to just drop in 3 maybe 4 times a day, vs staying at your place. We can talk) Fun fact; Did you know? Dogs can actually sense when their human is coming back. Dogs don't do "time" they go by the smell of the hour. Crazy right? Each hour to our dogs has a different smell. That's how they determine time!! I've grown up with animals my whole entire life. I have a high knowledge of dog health care and needs. I would LOVE to help train your puppy which I also have high expierence in. I am good with dogs any size, any age. Animals and Animal care taking have always been a strong passion for me, I eventually am going to go to school to be a dog trainer. I have a wide understanding of a dog's body language as well. Fun fact; Did you know dogs can do over 150 different facial expressions? đđŽđđ I am a MAJOR animal lover đşđśđąđŻ I am able to attend to your pet the whole time he/she is with me. My house is always clean đ§šand picked up so no need to worry about your dog eating foreign objects! If you crate your dog please bring your own, since I do not own one. If your baby is small & is allowed on the bed, bring your steps. My beds about 36" off the ground. I'd LOVE to have a cuddle buddy â¤ď¸ Your baby will have a GREAT time. Constant petting, playing with their favorite toyđĽ, and going on walks is what we will be doing. I will definitely spoil your dog! đâ¤ď¸ I am available to give potty breaks as frequently as needed. Did you know? Puppies can hold in their urine for approximately on hour PER month of life. Our daily routine will consist of lots of play time and love. We usually will go on a walk or two depending on the day & weather. I care for them just like their owner would. I will always use a leash when taking your dog outside. & I can promise they will not run away from me.

About: Hi! Iâm Paula, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping care for animals on my familyâs farm in Colombia and later gained experience working in a veterinary clinic, which taught me how to safely handle animals, recognize when something isnât quite right, and provide attentive care for pets with different needs and personalities. Today, I share my life with dogs of my own and understand how important it is to find someone you trust when youâre away. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers a quiet companion to stick to their routine, I adjust my care to fit what makes them happiest and most comfortable. I have experience with: ⢠Puppies and high-energy dogs ⢠Senior pets ⢠Large breed dogs ⢠Administering medications ⢠Multi-pet households ⢠Shy or anxious animals When Iâm caring for your pet, communication is a priority. Youâll receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how theyâre doing. My goal is simple: I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while youâre away. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care for pets throughout the day. While I have a few work responsibilities that only require a couple of hours here and there, they donât interfere with my ability to prioritize pet care. Additionally, while I do have dogs of my own, they are a shared responsibility within my household, meaning their care does not take away from my ability to fully focus on the pets Iâm sitting. This flexibility allows me to accommodate regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and any special care needs without interruptions. Whether itâs an overnight stay, multiple visits a day, or drop-in check-ins, I ensure that pets stay on their normal routine and receive the attention they need while their owners are away. My priority is to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide pet sitting exclusively in my clientâs home, allowing pets to remain in their familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and maintain their routine. When caring for pets, I follow their specific schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other special needs they may have. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day, adjusting my care to match their personalityâwhether they need extra playtime, gentle reassurance, or space to relax. Additionally, I respect my clientsâ homes by keeping everything clean, securing doors and gates, and ensuring a tidy environment while theyâre away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are well cared for.
About: Dog lover with lots of energy & experience! đś Hi! I currently live with two golden retrievers, so Iâm used to lots of dog hair, big smiles, and even bigger energy. I love being outside, going on long walks, and Iâm quick on my feet which is perfect for keeping up with playful pups! Iâve spent plenty of time caring for dogs of family and friends, whether itâs walking, feeding, playing, or just hanging out and giving belly rubs. Iâll treat your dog like one of my own and make sure theyâre happy, safe, and well-loved while youâre away. Need to take a weekend trip without your pup? I currently work part time and will be able to fit pet care, pet visits, and dog walking any time Thursdays, Fridays, and on the weekends. I know every pet is different, and Iâm all about making sure they feel comfortable and cared for in their own home. I always treat your pet and your space with the same respect Iâd want for my own. Making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved is my top priority!
âExcellent communicator and really helped me out with taking my dog out while I settled into a new job where it wasnât feasible for me to go home on my lunch break the first month. Would absolutely book her again!â

My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind and make sure both they and their pets have a positive, stress free experience.
About: Iâve grown up having dogs around me at all times. I currently have 3 of my own fur babies, and while theyâre definitely a handful (or pawful), I wouldnât have it any other way. I love playing, walking, and just spending time with pets and I canât wait to be able to treat your animals like my own! During my services, I always make sure to include at least three pictures of your pets when I stop by, I know how long a day can feel without seeing your animals. My main goal is to make sure you and your pet(s) are satisfied with the services I provide because I know just how important our furry friends are to all of us and our families! I also have experience with bird, rodent, small reptile and amphibian care! Iâm happy to watch any and all types of our animal family members while youâre away ! I have been in love working with animals since my first Girl Scout visit to an animal shelter in 3rd grade. I currently have five rescues of my own (two dogs, two cats, and a beardie) and I would to meet and help provide care for your fur babies as well! I make sure to provide the same quality of care to your pet as you would. They are our extra, furry family members and deserve to be treated as such, especially when they are excited and waiting to see their people!
About: Throughout my life I've had 4 dogs. Currently I have two, with one being a 2-year-old pup I've been training ever since I adopted her and one that's pretty old and requires some special care. I used to work as a dog groomer for a business called Kendra's Grooming and I would watch her dogs when she went away with her family for vacation. For Kendra's Grooming I would bathe, dry, and hold dogs whenever needed. All of my classes are online currently for the summer and I'm open whatever day of the weekdays and Saturdays along with whatever time or for however long. So, I'm able to work whatever time is needed. I would be able to keep a constant eye on your pup, take them on however many walks you would want, and would be able to care for them in whatever way is needed. I've worked with animals with all sorts of personalities and in varying stages of health, so I can work with any form of animal, and I can accommodate for any of your pet's unique needs.
âAlysa is a wonderful communicator, and we were so grateful to have her walk our dogs midday while my husband was away and my work schedule was especially hectic. She took exceptional care of our pups and truly made the entire week stress-free for us.â

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
