“Our dog stayed 4 nights at Diahann’s. Diahann and her family welcomed our very high energy 3-year old 15-lbs male Havanese. We got our little “hairball” during the pandemic and he is not used to people other than our family. It takes a long time for him to warm up to someone he does not know but Diahann and her family patiently let him settle in slowly until he let his guard down and become more comfortable in an unfamiliar environment. About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I am comfortable feeding dogs, interacting with them and I love to give lots of love. I am familiar with giving medication’s to dogs if needed. Your animal will be in good hands as I will love them as my own. Whatever an owner needs for them and their dogs to be well cared for, I can accommodate. I work from home, so the dog will always be accompanied with me. we’ll have plenty of playtime, outside time and potty breaks. I provide at least 2 walks a day and several Potty breaks from 7 am up until 10 Pm. I have a fenced yard where they can play as they like and they can hang out inside as well. I am very interactive with the dogs and love to send pictures.

About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. I am also no stranger to small dogs as I have also cared for my friends pomeranian. I am able to do drop ins before work, during lunch (depending on distanc), and after work. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since taking home my first adopted dog when I was 13. I love all dogs, any age, size, or breed. I believe dogs can detect a gentle human being, and I always strive to make dogs comfortable. I have dog sat numerous times and now have my 2nd dog, a 2 year old shepherd mix. I am an RN and thought a great way to make money on the side would be to do what I love most. As an RN I work 12hr shifts but only 2-3 days per week. My flexibility will change week to week, but I will be sure to keep my availability current. For my own dog our back yard is fenced in completely, mostly 6 feet tall aside from a small section that is 4 feet tall. Toby has a dog door and can go in and out as he please to use the bathroom or enjoy the outdoors.

Did you know? Puppies can hold in their urine for approximately on hour PER month of life. Our daily routine will consist of lots of play time and love. We usually will go on a walk or two depending on the day & weather. I care for them just like their owner would. “I can tell my dog loves his staycations at Mariko’s house. She takes him to the dog park nearly every day and gives plenty of attention. She goes the extra mile. For example, she provided stairs to help my senior dog in and out of the car. She’s also really good about sending daily check-ins (photos, videos, etc.) It is a bit of a drive to drop off and pick up for us, but it’s totally worth it. She is our go-to dog sitter.”

“Jennifer was wonderful with our 120 lb dog. She kept us updated the entire time we were gone with pictures and messages. She took him on walks and even gave him a Thanksgiving treat. He loved her dogs and had so much fun the entire time. He got treated like he was part of the family the entire time he was there.”

“Our dog had a great time at Val's place! Before I dropped Dash off, I could tell that Val was conscientious and organized - she asked good questions about Dash during the meet and greet, had contingency plans in case things went wrong, and let me meet some of the other dogs staying with her. She has a nice fenced yard area for dogs to play in, including some shade and structures for dogs to run over/through. During his stay, Val sent us pictures and video of Dash playing with other dogs and even a cat! (We gave her permission to see how Dash did with cats, since we don't have any). He came back tired and healthy. All in all, we are happy and will be asking Val to take care of Dash again.”
