About: I have taken care of a variety of animals my entire life growing up on a farm. I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 24 years. I work part-time remotely and part-time in a vet clinic. I am looking to supplement my income while still working my current part-time jobs. I work Monday through Wednesday remotely. Then I'm working Thursday and Friday in a Veterinary Hospital. I'm mostly available Friday night through early Thursday morning. I have 4 dogs, 2 outdoor cats, 2 horses, and 15 chickens. I can easily separate dogs as needed with a secure large backyard. Our entire property is 5 acres completely fenced and cross fenced. My husband can easily take care of our animals if I'm away from the house.

About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. Each animal is different with different personalities and different needs. I have an end goal to be trusted by the animal so we can be friends, not the other way around. I earn their trust. I thrive in situations where an animal may be subdued, afraid or sruggles with trust, my ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time. Waiting it out, being on their time and show me they are ready and less scared or reluctant to meet me. Not expecting them to jump into my arms, understaning theyre ready when they're ready. Meet and greets and going with their routine. Realizing I am not "their human" so knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

“This was my first time using Sandra to care for my dog and cat at my home with drop in visits. She went above and beyond what was expected and gave my pets a lot of love and attention that they were sorely missing with me being out of town! I would definitely use Sandra again ??!”

“Rachel was wonderful to our little cat baby! She is very responsive to messages and documents her check-ins well. I loved getting pictures of our cat while we were on vacation. We will definitely call her again in the future!”

About: I am currently in the military and used to have a chocolate lab. She has since passed so I decided to use Rover as an opportunity to help others and to spend time with dogs since I don’t have my own anymore. My chocolate lab and I had lots of fun together. Many walks, runs and play time in the park where she would love to jump through the tall grass and swim in the lake. I will be sure to give your dog lots of care and attention. My husband and I live in a great neighborhood and have a fully fenced yard to play. I’m usually available during the evenings or early mornings for drop off during the weekdays and anytime over the weekend. We love being at home so when we are out it’s usually just for a couple hours. Your dogs will be able to roam the house when we are out. I have a couple dog beds for them to be comfortable and if they want to sit on the furniture we have blankets we can lay under them. Your pet will be comfortable in our home. We have no restrictions for pets besides peeing/marking/pooping inside the house. We will have to resort to kenneling if that happens. We will spend lots of time walking the neighborhood and playing out back in our yard. Your dog will have fun being active, and if your dog is a lounging kind of dog, we can do that too. My husband and I love to be home so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods of time.

About: Having my own 2-year old labrodoodle, I am well-versed in high energy dogs that need stimulating walks. I have done dog training courses with my own dog at the Happy Dog Institute in Tumwater and will work with your pup using positive reinforcement in our walks. I currently work from home and have availability to help walk your furry friend during the morning, afternoon or evening. I would love to be able to get your pup the daily exercise they need. I have been a dog owner for over 15 years and have experience walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve boarded friend’s dogs in my home and have been responsible for providing their daily care. I ensure owners are provided with GPS-tracked walks, a report of all activities in our walk and of course photos!

About: I enjoy being with dogs and interacting with them. I’m not a dog trainer, but I have owned dogs most of my life. I’m not scared of big dogs. I teach high school and have a teachers schedule. My wife is a nurse who works nights and one high school boy at home. My oldest is in college. My schedule is flexible during the summer. I will be the only one providing service based on my family’s schedule. I have 3 acres fenced for horses without horses. I have two female dogs. One staffy, 8 y/o, and one bully, 5 y/o. I have a 4x5 chain link kennel in the garage if needed. If you have your kennel, we can use that.

“Our kitty seemed very happy when we got back from our trip! Communication was always great and quick. And super friendly. Will definitely rebook and recommend! ?”

About: Hi! My name is Sara and I look forward to helping you with all your boarding and sitting needs. I grew up in a dog family and I dog sat for family and friends since I was in high school. Currently a dog mom of a lab and a frenchie. They are very sweet and playful and will help make your pups stay fun and comfortable. I will love your pup like my own and keep you updated with pictures during their stay with us. I promise to give your pup the love and attention they need. I work during the weekdays, and I am on weekends to give extra time and care to your pup. I keep my availability calendar updated weekly. I have a fenced yard where your pup will be able to run, play, and use the restroom. The whole area of the house is also open for your pup to roam. I have two kennels if you would prefer your pup to be crated during certain times of the day.

About: I've dog sat for my friends and family for years-everything from my friends chihuahua to my personal pets, Albert the Great Dane and Jocko the GSD. I love dogs and work from home, so naturally thought I'd try out Rover to serve my neighborhood. We used to foster for a rescue in Kansas, then Colorado. So, our most recent addition to the family, Jocko, was a foster fail. I now work from home and can be fairly flexible on check ins, walks, etc. I do not have a set schedule of availability, so will work with you on arranging times. I no longer can offer sitting in our home due to lease change, but can care for your pet in your home so they stay comfortable and happy while you're gone! No request is silly, our babies like what they like!

About: I work remotely part time from home. Looking for extra income and more animals to adore. I help take care of family also. Long term and short term availability. Currently working at home part time. So lots of time. And have my own schedules with current animals, livestock, poultry and cats & dogs. Also some reptiles. I am working on sitting up a safe area for pets to be removed from my animals and then will be open for boarding. Unsure on the timeline of that
