“Emma is a terrific sitter- couldn’t recommend enough! My dog is standoffish and immediately got along with Emma. I feel like my dog is in good hands and don’t have to worry when she’s taking care of her.”

“Eko and Sarah were great! They responded right away to my request and during their house-sitting they communicated any questions clearly. Got lots of pictures of our pup from their walks and overnight. It brought us such peace of mind that such lovely and attentive people were caring for our dog while we were away! Will definitely book with them again!”

“Ann is the best! She is reliable, communicative and goes above and beyond what is required for housesitting. She has stayed with our pets several times, both long weekends and for over a week, and she has taken care of everything. We know that our home and fur babies are in capable hands when Ann is there. I hope she never stops doing this!”

“Sammy did a wonderful job caring for our pets: Zeiss, Freya, Reggie and the chickens! She was excellent about communicating daily by reaching out with questions or concerns, and providing a daily summary of how things went. In addition, she left a final day's report to let us know if we were running low on any supplies. I found Sammy to be respectful, communicative, responsible and she left the house neat and clean. The ONLY room for improvement would be if Freya was walked on her leash; - she is a puller and strong willed though, so I understand why! Sammy was wonderfully patient with Freya and her escapades of escaping our yard, and we worked together to find the right solution for keeping her safe and getting outdoor time. I can tell our cat loved the attention he got and I think he misses Sammy!”

“Edith took such good, thoughtful care of our older, deaf cat. He got his medicine, his treats, and his cuddles. We will 💯% contact Edith the next time we need a house and cat sitter. She's the best!”

“Logan pet sat for our cat Bella for a week while we away. Bella is a senior with special needs. Logan came by to meet with Bella a few times before we went away. Logan then stayed at our home caring for Bella while attending college classes. We called every few days so Bella could hear our voice. Having Logan with Bella allowed us to be away knowing she was being well cared for and not alone for long periods of time. We will be in touch with Logan again to sit for Bella.”

“Jess was fantastic and showed Clay a lot of attention while we were away. She was very quick to respond when we had questions and sent lots of pictures during her time with Clay. I would strongly recommend her to anyone needing someone to look after their fur child while away from home.”

“We had Danielle stay with our two dogs and it was clear they felt so comfortable with her!! She was great about sending updates and even left us a written note detailing the activities over the weekend. Will absolutely be asking Danielle to house and dog sit for us again!”

About: I’ve cared for many dogs of different ages and problems. I will take your dog for a walk. I have a good yard. I’m very reliable and trustworthy. I would be with your pet most of the day. Unless I have to run errands. The pet will have my apartment to roam. I generally only do one dog at a time except if they come as a pair. My yard is partially fenced. I would take your pet on on walks with the leashes. The dogs have free range of my apartment. Thanks!

About: When young, I walked neighbors' dogs often, then had a family dog for 6 years. Have cared for both dogs and cats belonging to neighbors and family friends. I am always happy to come by to keep your pet company, indoors and out! My dog, Reed is a larger breed so I feel prepared for any size animal and their energy. I ensure that I know the expectations for a pet beforehand, so that I can care for them how their owner wants. I am happy to cuddle your dog all night, or keep them company while in their crate!

About: I have worked with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and much more. I have cared for cats and dogs for years, and I am a former Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) currently in the process of renewing my designation. I will be working full time starting Aug 11th. Up until then, I have A LOT of availability. After Aug 11th, I will have Sundays and Mondays off for house sitting. Other days may be considered for pet sitting after 4 pm and into the evening. I am comfortable giving dogs/cats medications. My dog Foxy has anxiety, so she receives oral medication and a prescription diet (for her sensitive stomach), and I also have experience administering medications to dogs/cats in the vet clinic.

“This was Anna-Li's first time staying with Bouy at our house and I couldn't have been more pleased. We came home to a relaxed dog, who didn't seem to have even noticed we left ; ) It was a wonderful feeling to say the least! Thank you Anna-Li! We hope you will agree to stay again!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and I have taken care of dogs and pets since I was 10. I walked dogs full time during high school. Friends and neighbors have trusted me and continue to ask me to walk/sit their pets. I am available to walk weekdays and weekends. I am a full time student at WPI, however, my schedule is fairly flexible so I can generally work around your dogs' needs. My schedule does change every 7 weeks as WPI is a quarter-based school and I go home to New York during most breaks (major holidays, fall break in October, winter break from December to January, and spring break in March). I house sit, but I do not stay overnight. I have pet sit for dogs of all ages and all sizes, ranging from chihuahuas to mastiffs. I make sure your pets get all of my attention and feel loved when in your home alone while you aren't able to do so yourself.

“Nhi was absolutely amazing with our cat Molly! She was very communicative and treated our home with lots of respect. She always sent pictures, and if she needed anything, she called or messaged us as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Nhi to anyone looking for a sitter! We will definitely be using her again :)”

“James took great care of Onyx while I was away on vacation. He kept me posted with plenty of updates, photos and videos so I could see my pup happily playing and exploring the neighborhood.”

About: Growing up, I was the kid who naturally gravitated towards the animal in a crowded room. I find comfort and peace in the presence of animals and in taking care of them. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been trusted to pet sit for my neighbors and friends while they’ve been away from home. I have special experience taking care of senior dogs, giving them their medicine (pills, insulin injections, eyedrops) at scheduled times. I am currently working part-time in Worcester while I look for a full-time job in the education field or nonprofit sector, so I have a pretty wide availability throughout the week. When taking care of pets in my own home, I gradually introduce the animal to my family (if they seem nervous or scared) before fully integrating them into my home. When I'm at a client's home, I always make sure to lock the doors when I leave a house, clean up any messes, and double-check that the animal I'm caring for has enough food and water, and has been given enough love and pets.

“I was very pleased with Asia’s time with Quincy. I was kind of nervous since he can get anxious when not around his family, but she sent me tons of pictures and updates throughout the 3 days and night. I never felt like I was wondering how he was. I would definitely recommend her and will keep in mind for future needs.”

“Erin is amazing!!! Book her now! She took such good care of my dog Peter and provided daily updates and photos. When she came to meet us prior to her stay, Peter fell in love right away. My mind was completely at ease with her here. I am so happy I found her and you will be too.”

“I’ve known Evelina for about 5 years now, and in that time I have witnessed how deeply she cares for and loves her dog Foxy. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure Foxy’s needs are met and that she is comfortable. I would absolutely trust Evelina to demonstrate that same devotion towards any pet she is caring for as she is an avid animal lover, as well as a responsible and loving human being. Your pets will be in good hands!!”

“Grace is a reliable, caring, and responsible dog walker. She walked our dog, Max, for us. She was prompt and professional. Max looked forward to his walks with Grace. He would get so excited to see her. If we mentioned her name he would go running to the door and look for her. She is great with dogs and took such good care of Max when she was with him. I would highly recommend her to walk your dog!!”

Sydnhy has taken care of Oscar for the past few years and is able to give insulin injections and medications as well a special diet to Oscar, who is 11 years old and diabetic. Taking care of our dog is much more than a job for Sidnhy. She shows a genuine interest in Oscar and his well being. When Sidnhy has not been available for last minute walks, she has recruited her sister to fill in. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Sidnhy take care of his/her pet. She is a very special person.”

Worcester pet parents share their Rover experiences
Cianna was spectacular, stepping in with very short notice for an extended stay (2 weeks) after some health concerns with one of our dogs made me hesitant to leave him in the kennel for that stretch. She was awesome with the dogs, on top of all their needs and concerns, and was very communicative throughout. The dogs may have been a bit sad to see us come home at the end of the trip as they loved their time with her.

James was fantastic even before the sitting began. Was extremely communicative about my guys' needs and what I needed. He sent pics and vids throughout the day of thwir various activities, and my pets felt extremely comfortable around him. Was immediately responsive whenever I texted him to check in. Will absolutely be hiring again next time I need to.

Nhi is absolutely wonderful!! She has watched our dog for us on a few occasions now and we’re so glad we found her! She asked us all the right questions upfront, and always sends the best updates. She stays at our place while we’re away, and the house is always immaculate when we come home! She’s the best and will take very good care of your furry friends!

Reichel was great! Offered to come over before the actual booked weekend so she could meet my dog and get a better idea of her care. She followed up with me throughout the weekend and sent pics of my dog. I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I will reach out to Reichel in the future!

We were so nervous leaving our good boy, but Gloria went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and ensuring Leo got the best treatment while we were away. She treated our house with the upmost respect while staying. She, thoughtfully, sent multiple videos and pictures, and was so communicative. 10/10 will be using her again

Amy was great with our 3 pups and 1 cat. We don’t have an easy sitting situation, between pups sleeping and eating in separate rooms but Amy was more than willing to accommodate. Our pups are on a raw diet so we typically portion their food and freeze it so our sitter doesn’t have to deal with the raw food, however we weren’t able to ahead of time and Amy had no problem getting messy and portioning out our dog food for them. Highly recommend Amy and her services !!
