About: I’ve had dogs since I was little, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of cuddles! I work from home most days of the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide your pet with attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for regular care as well as occasional bookings and will always do my best to work around your pet’s routine. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I’m respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications if needed, and any other specific needs your pet has.
“Our pup has enjoyed spending days with Dawn and it is especially nice for us to have a place where she can comfortably interact with young children, as we don’t have that opportunity to offer her at home. Dawn also has a great fenced in backyard with lots of interesting things to smell and ways to run around and work off energy, which is great for both our pup and for us when we pick her up and know that she’s had a fun filled active day!”

“This is absolutely the very best place for Cody to go for loads of fun. Wouldn’t be able to find a better place if we tried every Rovers sitter!!!!! Paola and Margav are way beyond nice people which makes everything all the better.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats in my house since I was born and I’ve always been a part of walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and giving meds to them. I have taken care of my dog who is elderly, has worn diapers and has experienced surgery and anesthetics. I really enjoy being around animals of all kinds! I only work about 1-3 hourly per day! I’m always around to hang out and play with pets. I always will have someone around the pets so they’ll never be alone. I know a lot of the behavioral signs of discomfort in animals, I always want the pets I’m working with to enjoy their time. I will always make sure a pet is in a safe and fitting environment for their needs. I have worked with pets who are sick, directly after surgery, and who need medication administered
“Here’s a warm, genuine 5-star review you could leave: We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Lingwen! She took exceptional care of Max and treated him like he was part of her own family. Throughout his stay, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear from every update that she genuinely cared about his happiness, comfort, and well-being. Max came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. We truly appreciated her kindness, attention to detail, and the personal touch she brought to every aspect of his care. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dedicated to caring for their pet. Thank you so much, Lingwen! 🐾❤️”

“Melissa and her husband were phenomenal with Cookie and Biscuit. They loved Casper so much. They were very accommodating and were very flexible with me which was so amazing. Melissa sent me pictures and kept me updated throughout there stay. I was so happy with the service, my babies were happy and exhausted ready for bed lol!! I will most definitely be rebooking!!”

“Archie absolutely adored staying with Andrea and Joaquin! I will 100% use them again. I got frequent pictures and updates which really helped me to not be anxious about leaving him somewhere new. They gave him lots of love and it was great knowing I can leave my little guy somewhere he is safe and cared for ;)”

“Molly is so great with our standard poodle puppy! He’s always super excited to get to her house and tired and happy when he gets back home. Molly is very communicative — sharing pictures and updates during the day and letting us know how everything went when we pick him up. We’re so glad to have found Molly and would absolutely recommend her to other dog owners!”

“Alexis was such a kind and patient sitter! She immediately knew how to handle Louis with him being so small and even cleaned up an accident he had indoors! Her dog and Louis got along so well and we would absolutely recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a great sitter!”

About: In my house or yours! What sets me apart is that I offer truly personalized, low-volume care in a calm home environment. Mine or yours. I only take one or two guest dogs at a time, so your dog gets lots of individual attention, affection, and supervision — not the chaos of a large kennel or crowded daycare setting. I’ve cared for six dogs of my own throughout my life and loved every one of them through all stages of life, including senior years and end-of-life care. I understand how important routines, patience, comfort, and trust are when caring for someone’s beloved pet. I love all dogs, but my home is especially well-suited for: • Dogs who prefer a quieter environment • Dogs needing medication or special routines • Dogs who don’t do well in large group settings • Dogs who are not friendly with other dogs* • Owners looking for flexible pickup/drop-off times Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced backyard, one daily leash walk, personalized feeding and medication schedules, and lots of companionship throughout the day. Plus flexible pick up and drop-off times. My goal is simple: I want your dog to feel safe, relaxed, loved, and at home while you’re away. I am willing to take 3 dogs, but only if they all come from the same home. *If you require your dog to be the ONLY dog in the household, please reach out to me before booking. I work primarily from home, so dogs in my care receive lots of companionship, supervision, outdoor time, and attention throughout the day — not long periods left alone. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family with plenty of supervision, companionship, outdoor time, a daily walk, and personalized feeding or medication schedules. I only care for one or two dogs at a time to maintain a calm, low-stress environment. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away.
About: I have been taking care of the dogs and cats since I was a very young, the age of 14 and I absolutely love animals. I’m home full-time. So taking care of your pet with love cuddles is no problem i have a large yard and part of it fully fenced in. I do have security cameras inside and outside to protect all animals in my home. I am very good about sending lots of updates so you can see your pet having lots of fun. I pride myself on being a home away from home! I’m full time at home so i have nothing but time to spend hanging out, playing and spoiling your pet when you are away! I love being outside I have a big house they can come in to cool off or warm up depending on weather. I have a large yard mostly fenced and a smaller area fully fenced.
“Brenda clearly loves dogs! She was very attentive to Bailey throughout the day. We received several photos and notes about their activity. And Bailey clearly enjoyed his time with Brenda.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! I have a highly energetic dog, so we take several walks during the day and then I take her to nearby parks with trails after work. I'm available for boarding during the week and on weekends. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and a very sweet dog to keep your fir baby company! My dog has free reign of the house and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed but can also crate your dog if needed.
“Caroline was fantastic with my dog, Ninja! He had a blast playing with her sweet pup, Benny, and came home happy and tired. Caroline took Ninja on regular walks and kept me updated with thoughtful messages and adorable photos, which really put me at ease while I was away. Communication was quick and friendly, and it was clear Ninja was treated like family. I’d absolutely book with Caroline again—highly recommend!”

About: I have had a dog in my home since I was 11 years old. I have had small dogs and large dogs alike, mostly full of energy. I have dog sat in the past in home but prefer to do it at my own as I have my own dog. We love to go on forest hikes with our black lab, Pickle, and keep her tired and happy. I currently work from home and have a dog of my own that I play with throughout the day. She is rarely alone and gets taken out whenever she requests. I have a black lab of my own that is my baby. She sleeps on the furniture and has her own queen sized bed. We have two bags of toys and we are constantly playing fetch on our third of an acre yard.
“My puppy has been traveling with me a few months now and after using several sitters here on Rover, i can confidently say Katheryn is absolutely amazing and among the best of the best. She was a pleasure communicating with and once your pup is in her care, she goes above and beyond keeping you informed on literally EVERYTHING via text, photos and videos. She asked questions when she needed clarification on feeding schedules and supplied a harness after I forgot to pack one in Myla's bag. She even offered the harness for Myla to keep when she thought she didn't have one. If you want absolute peace of mind in knowing your dog is being cared after, exercised and in competent and loving hands, Katheryn is it. Myla is a 7 Ib., 4 month old puppy and I left her with Katheryn and her very sweet, significantly larger 20 lb. dog and found them both to be the best company for her the entire day while I was skiing in Massachusetts. I cannot say enough here, but Katheryn's level of care and attention here on Rover is bar none and I would absolutely use her services again. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

Alexis was great with our puppy Princess! She took great photos and maintained communication throughout the day, even letting us know that our puppy wasn't eating her lunch and following our suggestion to hand feed her which did the trick! Princess came home happy. Highly recommend!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Worcester commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
