She sent me photos and updates throughout the 6 hours that Ollie was with her for “day care” (without me even needing to ask!) and I could tell he was having fun and being taken care of so well! About: I grew up in a home where we always had many animals. Because of that, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I’ve spent many years helping take care of pets at home and for family and friends. I currently have a cat named Floyd, who I recently adopted. He is very affectionate, loving, gentle, and gets along very well with other animals. I currently work from home full-time during the weekdays, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability Monday through Friday. Being home throughout the day allows me to give pets consistent attention, care, companionship, and supervision. I enjoy incorporating pet care into my daily routine and making sure animals feel comfortable, active, and well cared for while their owners are away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Although my home does not have a fenced yard, I always take pets outside on a leash and stay with them while they enjoy time outdoors. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day.

“Our pup has enjoyed spending days with Dawn and it is especially nice for us to have a place where she can comfortably interact with young children, as we don’t have that opportunity to offer her at home. Dawn also has a great fenced in backyard with lots of interesting things to smell and ways to run around and work off energy, which is great for both our pup and for us when we pick her up and know that she’s had a fun filled active day!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with two dogs, two cats, and even turtles and birds. Throughout high school, I cared for my neighbors' dogs and cats and regularly looked after my extended families pets while they were away, this gave me years of hands on experience with animals of all kinds. I have experience with fostering animals so I have taken care of blind dogs, dogs with diabetes and other disabilities that I am familiar with. I currently work part time at a grocery store, I don’t get a lot of hours so I have a lot of free time! I love animals so I make time for them at all times of the week :). I have a dog park at my apartment that many dogs i have watched loved to run around and play with the other dogs in. My apartment is also very spacious so cats and dogs have plenty of roaming space. I often make sure I get used to any animals environment fast, check out their favorite spots and make sure they’re as comfortable as possible while I am around them!

We had to travel from out of state to Massachusetts for a funeral and she kept our puppy for most of the day, keeping us updated with pictures and videos along the way. “I would recommend Amy & Thomas to anyone with working/guardian breeds, they are with your dogs all day and on top of everything. Dogs get access to potty breaks instantly, and get the mental enrichment they need. They are extremely welcoming, kind, and informative on how they care for your dog. I have a Doberman and if you know Dobermans, they’re a sensitive and strong breed, and very intelligent. They earned my Dobermans trust fast, and she listened for them while under their supervision. They’re educated on dog training and can handle any dog you have, very loving family to have around your pets. 11/10 care! I would book them for every occasion! :)”

About: My husband and I live with our 7 and 4 yr old girls in a sidewalk lined Westborough neighborhood. In your reservation, please mention any behavioral patterns or phobias. (Does your dog take a while to do business outside? Does he or she squat several times? How long can he or she go without potty breaks? Do we have a runner?) Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.
