We connected with Bridget for some last-minute day care services. She was very responsive and accommodating. After our initial meet-and-greet, our dog made herself right at home when we dropped her off for her first day at daycare. We felt comfortable and at ease leaving our dog in Bridget's care along with her dogs Mac and Zuzu (who are both very sweet!). She also sent us pictures and updates while we were away, which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend!

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

Meli took such great care of my fur baby! From the moment I was in touch with Meli, I felt safe and excited about the opportunity to have Ollie spend the day with her and her pup Nina. She was warm and assuring, and very quick to respond to messages! When I met Meli in person to drop Ollie off, I was happy to find such a friendly and kind person in real life, too! She sent me photos and updates throughout the 6 hours that Ollie was with her for “day care” (without me even needing to ask!) and I could tell he was having fun and being taken care of so well! I would absolutely recommend Meli and would love to have Ollie stay with her again if we need a sitter in Bloomington. Thanks Meli! ?

Lingwen was awesome! Very responsive. Ready right at drop off and pick up times. So sweet and careful with our little Princess that our puppy felt safe almost immediately after meeting her. Her place is beautiful, with plenty of space for our puppy to explore and play with others. She took great pictures and videos that kept us up to date on how our puppy was doing througout the stay. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. Required vaccinations: Rabies Distemper Bordetella (kennel cough)

About: My husband and I live with our 7 and 4 yr old girls in a sidewalk lined Westborough neighborhood. In your reservation, please mention any behavioral patterns or phobias. (Does your dog take a while to do business outside? Does he or she squat several times? How long can he or she go without potty breaks? Do we have a runner?) Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

We brought our Falco for daycare with Misael and we were so happy with the service!! Misael was super responsive and Falco seemed very happy to be there. Misael sent pictures and updates regularly. There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heart’s content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. We will be using his service again soon for overnight boarding and feel really comfortable with them. Thanks for making us feel like Falco is safe with you!!! Highly recommend!!

About: I have a yorkie that I have taken care of for 7 years. I also volunteered at a dog shelter for two years which got me accustomed to all sorts of dogs! I currently work as a host at cheesecake and am a full time student at northeastern, I currently am taking summer courses and have more time to myself. I walk, feed and play with my dog! I also did the same for the dog shelter as I played, trained and walked the dogs there.

Our pup has enjoyed spending days with Dawn and it is especially nice for us to have a place where she can comfortably interact with young children, as we don’t have that opportunity to offer her at home. Dawn also has a great fenced in backyard with lots of interesting things to smell and ways to run around and work off energy, which is great for both our pup and for us when we pick her up and know that she’s had a fun filled active day!

About: Your dog will feel right at home here! I offer in-home boarding in a calm, low-stress environment with lots of love and attention. I work from home, so your pup gets constant supervision, companionship, and plenty of snuggles throughout the day. With a fenced-in yard and one chill, friendly dog, your pet will have a safe and comfortable space to relax and play. I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine, including walks, meals, medications, and any special care needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home. I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of snuggles. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily adjust to each dog’s needs and routine. I create a safe, calm, and loving environment where dogs can feel at home. My yard is fully fenced and always supervised, and I will follow any routines or preferences you have for your pet. About: Since I was 13 years old, I've had 7 dogs in my life: a Golden, a Border Collie, a Bernice Mountain Dog, two mutts, a King Charles Cavalier and a Cockapoo. Each of these dogs lived an average of 14 amazing puppy, mid-life and senior joyful years. I learned as a child and then as an adult, that dogs abound with joy when given a consistent, kind, safe and loving environment. I adore dogs and the energy they bring. They teach us how to live life to the fullest and maybe even teach us how to love. My friends know this about me. They're always asking me to take care of their dogs. They call me the dog whisperer. They trust me. Your dog will be at home in my care. A walk every 2-3 hours, some play, a snack (if allowed), a good snooze and we'll do it all over again. As described below, your pet will be with me much of the day. I work from home on the computer and can take numerous breaks throughout the day to walk and play with your best friend. See below for our daily routine. Your dog and I will take a long walk the morning. If they're a ball chaser, there's a fenced in area at the local park where we'll spend some time running after balls. After the walk/run, we'll hang together as I work for a few hours on the computer. Mid-morning, we'll spend some time in my backyard on a leash making sure they get additional air and a pee. At noon, they'll get another walk around the block, have a mid-day snack (if allowed) and then while they nap, I'll work some more until quitting time when we'll go for another long walk or run. And of course what they care most about, breakfast, lunch or dinner will be served according to their routine. After the evening walk, we'll read or watch some TV while we relax on the couch. Bedtime is around 11 in which a quick backyard pee prior to bed. Depending on their preference, they can sleep on my bed or if they're crate trained and you or they would prefer that, they'll rest in the crate for the evening in my bedroom. And the next day, we'll do it all over again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Upton on Rover is $37.74 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,523 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Upton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Upton commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,523 sitters in Upton, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
