“This was our first time using Rover and I was really nervous about the whole process. We have a 15 year old senior cat, a 2 year old cat, a few chickens and a bearded dragon so it’s a lot to look after. Marcella took great care of everyone and was very communicative with me about the visits. I think she went above and beyond, even bringing my chickens scraps (which they love whenever they get them). She spent extra time with the cats and when I returned home I didn’t feel that my senior cat was stressed at all that we had been gone, and my younger usually outdoor/indoor cat didn’t seem to be upset at having been indoors all week. They both seemed very content so I felt like she spent a lot of time with them. My beardie got extra exercise as well. I would have her take care of our pets again in the future!”

About: I have had dogs most of my life. I have adopted my dogs through shelters and understand the need for patience, care and going with the dogs flow! My neighbors utilize these skills to dog sit and walk throughout the years. I am currently off for the summer from my full time job! I am able to provide walks and drop ins at any time of day. Your pets safety and care is my number one priority. If you prefer more communication during the visit, I will always accommodate that. You are trusting me with your family, so I will treat them as my own family as well.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always loved caring for them. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing outside, or just spending quality time together, I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and making sure they’re happy and well cared for. I understand how important it is to keep pets active, loved, and safe, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. As a teacher currently on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. My days are open, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays throughout the week. I love having the opportunity to spend my break doing something I enjoy—being active, outdoors, and taking care of pets. It’s the perfect way to combine my love for animals with my free time during the summer months. When school starts, I’m available after 3pm. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run and play freely under supervision, which gives them a great outlet for exercise and fresh air. Inside, pets have plenty of space to relax and feel at home. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, whether that means regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or cuddles. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, making sure their pets feel secure and cared for while maintaining consistency in their daily lives.

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.
