About: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and four years of hands-on experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a dog kennel/daycare. I’m currently a first-year veterinary student at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, continuing to build my knowledge and skills in animal health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications, including injectable medications such as insulin, and have experience caring for dogs with behavioral challenges, including dog-aggressive dogs. My own dog has these challenges, so I understand the importance of patience, proper handling, and creating a safe environment for every pet. I also have experience caring for a variety of animals, as I have a dog and cat of my own. I’m passionate about providing pets with the same attentive, compassionate care I would want for my own. I’ll be starting my first year of veterinary school soon, so my exact class schedule is not set yet. I expect to have the most flexibility in the afternoons and evenings, and I’ll plan my pet care schedule around my classes. My veterinary school schedule may vary from day to day, but I’m committed to being reliable and communicating clearly about my availability. I’ll also have flexibility on weekends and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs and routine. I prioritize trust and keeping each pet’s routine as consistent as possible. For overnight stays, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. For drop-in visits and walks, I follow each pet’s individual routine and instructions, including feeding, medications, bathroom breaks, and exercise needs. With four years of veterinary clinic and dog daycare experience, along with my current veterinary education, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior or health and handling a variety of personalities and needs. I also have experience with dogs who may be reactive or aggressive toward other dogs, so I take introductions, walks, and environmental safety seriously. My goal is for every pet to feel safe and cared for while their owner is away.

About: I have always had a love for all pets and have always had dogs in my family home ! I always look foward to meeting new furry friends and caring for them as if they were my own ! I wait for them to approach, sniff me, and decide when they’re ready to say hello. About: I have experience working with many different animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even cattle. I love spending time with animals and currently working as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic. I have lots of experience pet sitting and dog walking and also have experience working around livestock so no dog is too big! Walking your dog will be of great enjoyment for both myself and your pet and I will work to create a bond between me and your pet so that we both make the most of our time. I can’t wait to work with you and your fur baby! I go to school full time, so pet sitting and dog walking is something I do on the side, so I can spend more time with animals! If possible I like to meet dogs for the first time with their owner around to lower their stress and slightly away from their home if possible (particularly if they are known to be protective of their homes).

About: I've always had dogs growing up, as well as my extended family and friends. They've consistently been an important part of my life and I take pride in caring for them, and interacting with them more than people! I am currently working part time, so I have more free time to spend with not only my dog, but other families and friends that need assistance with their pets as well! I personally have a fenced in backyard that my dog uses, but I have experience in the past with dog-sitting for people without the luxury of a fenced in yard. I have worked with smaller lap dogs, but also large dogs as well that need confident dog sitters/walkers who can take them on longer walks and more challenging enrichment.
