Hello, Nicole! Like any animal enthusiast, my love affair with animals started as a young cub. Whether it was building a house for my rabbits with my father when I was 8, adoring my Canary’s beautiful song voice, helping with the critters at my aunt’s barn in New Hampshire, going on nature walks with my dogs or hiding treats for my cats to hunt & find. I was always happiest in the company of animals. After all these years, I still continue to admire & learn new things from these miracles that we share this planet & our lives with. They have been the greatest friends. We can be our best selves with the infinite love we that receive from the animals in our lives. I started Nicole’s Pet Services while I was in college because the hours were flexible & it was therapeutic for me. It never felt like a job. I often walked dogs between classes and studied during overnights. After graduation, however, I quickly discovered that I couldn’t bear the thought of trading in the pockets full of treats and tennis balls for a living that I wasn’t passionate about. With families forming such strong bonds with their pets, and dealing with busy every day life, I’m there to look after & be a friend to their little loved ones when they can’t be with them. Everyone should have the benefit of these bonds without the fear of not having the trusted care of an animal lover like me when you have to work, get errands done, or even to do some traveling. Keeping my life simple and working with the love of my life, Renee, has allowed me to do the things I truly enjoy. For instance, spending my 30th birthday trekking through a jungle with rescued elephants in Thailand. Same as you, I’m also picky about who I’ve had as my pet sitter. As pet parents found trust in me & started to refer me to their friends, my clientele started to grow and my dream of working with animals became a real reality. Our pets are a huge part of our family and when you’re having a bad day, they’re there to comfort and love us. When life gets in the way, let me lend a hand in assuring they’re feeling safe & having fun. It’s always a pleasure to meet new furry friends.
