She made sure our 3 cats had meals on time, fresh water, got to play, and received lots of cuddles. She even somehow managed to make our really shy and anxious boy, Chompirras, feel safe enough to come out (he literally never comes out of hiding when strangers are at the house) and actually eat (he often goes on hunger strike for a day or two when we're not at home). Next time we're out of town, we'll be booking with Paulina :)”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and I have taken care of dogs and pets since I was 10. I walked dogs full time during high school. Friends and neighbors have trusted me and continue to ask me to walk/sit their pets. I am available to walk weekdays and weekends. I am a full time student at WPI, however, my schedule is fairly flexible so I can generally work around your dogs' needs. My schedule does change every 7 weeks as WPI is a quarter-based school and I go home to New York during most breaks (major holidays, fall break in October, winter break from December to January, and spring break in March). I house sit, but I do not stay overnight. I have pet sit for dogs of all ages and all sizes, ranging from chihuahuas to mastiffs. I make sure your pets get all of my attention and feel loved when in your home alone while you aren't able to do so yourself.

I respect a pet's schedule and aim to make them as comfortable as possible. I can handle reactive dogs while on walks. I can administer medications in pill or powder form if the pet is compliant. I love brushing animals if the pet is willing. Personally, I had 2 wonderful medium size dogs growing up. Sadie (German shephard and collie mix) and Mindy (collie and mystery mix) taught me compassion, patience and so many tricks. As an adult, I adopted my first cat in 2026. While I did not grow up in a cat family, if felt like a rite of passage as a librarian. I am thoroughly enjoying being a cat mom to an incredibly talkative and playful cat. He is very opinionated and craves human interaction. I work full time so I will typically only be available for overnights, walks or check-ins on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This was our first time picking Katherine to watch our two dogs and one cat while we were away and she did so great with them!! She even gave our dog Chai a bath! We didn't have to over worry with her at our house and she even did some other cleaning before we got home. She also worked around a challenging behavior with our dog Mocha. Having Cara watch our two dogs and our house was a great experience! She is extremely professional and communicative.
