“Eko and Sarah were fabulous and compassionate dog and house sitters for us when we went away recently! They were incredibly conscientious and were great at sending updates. They went above and beyond to help my dog settle in to the transition of us being away, including extra walks and games to help keep him from engaged. I highly recommend them!”

“Lila was absolutely amazing. My dogs take a while to get used to new people. They are rescues and require A LOT of patience. Lila provided that and my dogs love her. I feel comfort in knowing my pups are with her.”

“Ann house sit for us while we went to the hospital to have our first baby. As many know, it’s hard to time these things out perfectly. Ann was flexible and communicative the entire time. We didn’t have to worry for a second about Piglet and could focus on our baby. She also made sure we came home to a clean house and even watered our lawn during the heat wave! Thanks again, Ann!”

About: would love the opportunity to care for your furry family members! I have a deep, lifelong love for animals and truly enjoy spending quality time making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing with favorite toys, or just providing some extra snuggles on the couch, I treat every animal with the same patience and kindness I would give my own. Your pet's comfort is my top priority. I have watched many dogs/ cats There is nothing I love more than the company of animals! As a teacher, I bring patience and a structured routine to my pet-sitting, ensuring your babies feel secure while you're gone. I’m a morning person who truly enjoys those quiet, early walks, and I’m always ready for more activity or snuggles once the school day ends. Whether it’s a quick overnight or a two-week stay, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I I have watched cats and dogs. Dogs I take them out when they need to walks if need!and for both i give a lot of attention if need. I also talk to the animal to help them h Feel notice.
“Holly is great! She’s so kind, caring, and understanding. I had the opportunity to puppy sit for Milton. Milton is wild and crazy and she was nothing but calm and amazing energy. Holly will definitely be my go-to sitter/ walker. Thank you, Holly!”

“Paulina was a great sitter to our Bella. She was super professional and made sure to ask all the questions she needed to know in order to take care of our puppy. Correspondence was great throughout the night, she sent us updates with pictures which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Paulina 😊!”

“Edith saved the day once again! She was able to step in last minute and watch our puppy and cat. She kept him entertained all weekend and send tons of update photos. We would have her back anytime! Thanks!”
“Sammy did a wonderful job caring for our pets: Zeiss, Freya, Reggie and the chickens! She was excellent about communicating daily by reaching out with questions or concerns, and providing a daily summary of how things went. In addition, she left a final day's report to let us know if we were running low on any supplies. I found Sammy to be respectful, communicative, responsible and she left the house neat and clean. The ONLY room for improvement would be if Freya was walked on her leash; - she is a puller and strong willed though, so I understand why! Sammy was wonderfully patient with Freya and her escapades of escaping our yard, and we worked together to find the right solution for keeping her safe and getting outdoor time. I can tell our cat loved the attention he got and I think he misses Sammy!”

About: I have spent years taking care of animals and they hold a special place in my heart. I have a two kitties, one of which is tri-pawd thanks to a cancerous lump on her leg, and Great Pyrenees who is very friendly, happy, and loves to meet new friends although she is cautious of new people. We go for lots of walks and take frequent trips to the dog park. I do not however just take her out frequently- we do lots of playing and when she’s good and tired out we like to cuddle. I ensure that every dog I care for gets as much love and attention as my own. Dogs I’ve loved previously required medication so I am more than comfortable giving pills to dogs if necessary. I work from home as an event coordinator, so I have a very flexible schedule! Mornings and late afternoon/evening are my best availability but I can often move things around for mid day visits although I may require some flexibility on those. I have a fully fenced in yard and a dog that is very barky but very friendly. Without a fence I keep dogs in leash at all times! I also have 2 kitties who are great with dogs, although they mostly just avoid them.
About: I've had experience with animals my whole life. I've been taking care of my own precious boy for 16 years, and it's been an honor to experience him in every stage of his life. Much of my experience comes from taking care of him, and we've been through so much together. I've been by his side when he's been paralyzed, attacked, recovered from surgeries, and experienced epileptic episodes. When you book me as your loved one's care giver, you can expect them to be looked after by someone who's developed the compassion and patience needed to care for a pet that is ill, recovering from surgery, or simply elderly. I specialize in administering daily medication, and understand that elderly dogs must move at their own pace. I'm currently available Monday through Friday between 10am-8pm, and available for evening drop-ins on Saturday & Sunday. I have my own elderly pup that needs quite a bit of attention, so friendly dogs can expect to have me and my old pup as their care giver. I am more than happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own home. I'm available for overnight care and ask that Zohan (my elderly pup) has permission to join us. You can expect tailored care for your love one. High energy pets can expect long walks or playing around the house. Elderly pets can expect more gentle experiences that still stimulate the mind - going for a "walk" while being carried in a wagon - if they're small enough I'll hold them during our walks!
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been walking and caring for them for as long as I can remember. I have six years of dog walking experience and work confidently with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve trained two Irish Wolfhound puppies, so I’m comfortable with big breeds, strong pullers, and growing pups who need structure and patience. I also spent a year and a half working at a cat shelter, where I provided basic and medical care to kittens, senior cats, and disabled cats. That experience strengthened my ability to handle a wide range of temperaments and medical needs with calm, attentive care. I truly love working with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own I'm currently working part time and have plenty of time in my morning, afternoons, and night everyday of the week. I'm very flexible with timing! I have a car to bring dogs to dog parks with and can easily transport large dogs with my vehicle. I have driven around dogs for the past 2 years and have been trained with calming down nervous pups for car rides
“Mackenzie is a very reliable pet sitter and I would highly recommend her to anyone who may need one. She took care of my 4 pets- 2 kittens & 2 dogs- one of which is a senior and a bit more high maintenance and when I got back from my trip they were very well cared for and happy. Thank you!”

“Nhi was able to watch our dog on short notice, and even made time to meet him in advance. He gets nervous when we’re away but she made sure he ate and he even played with her- thank you Nhi!”

“Mackenna house sat for us for a week. We arranged in advance that she would be gone during the day and at our house in the mornings/evenings and weekends. Our dog did great and Mackenna was very communicative. She texted us and sent pictures at all the appropriate junctures and she was responsive when we communicated with her. She came to our house in advance of the week and we showed her all the things she would need to know. Our dog has to have home based care, because she is anxious and reactive (can't stay in a kennel) - this did not deter Mackenna. Our dog was happy and not anxious at all when we got home.”

“Olivia was great with our two dogs. She played with our younger more energetic dog and kept him busy. She provided timely updates which made us feel at ease. She is very easy to communicate, responds to messages fast, and loves to be around dogs. If you need a sitter for your pet who is kind and will love on your dog, consider Olivia!”

“Danielle is always amazing! She’s reliable and excellent with communication. She keeps us updated and send lots of photos and videos which helps to ease any worry. She also leaves the house looking just as clean as we left it. Our kitties were obviously well loved and cared for while we were away!”

“Logan is the best cat sitter I have hired and this was our 3rd in-house stay with him! Not only is he attentive to my socially needy cat, he keeps me informed of what's going on so I don't have to worry at all. He recently stayed in our house for a week while we were abroad. I felt very comfortable with him there. He always leaves the house very clean and Leo seems to love him. I am thrilled that we found Logan!”

Hamilton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Eko and Sarah are the very best. I usually board my dog for vacations and it gives me so much anxiety I decided to try rover and what a huge difference they made. I enjoyed my vacation with cute updates on my dog instead of anxiously checking on her knowing she’d go on a hunger strike at the boarding facility.

We’re so grateful for the wonderful care our 11-week-old puppy received in our home. Holly was attentive, patient, and kept him on his routine, which means so much at this age. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and a house just as we left it. We’d absolutely book again!

Having Cara watch our two dogs and our house was a great experience! She is extremely professional and communicative. She was very patient with our dog who is nervous around new people and made sure both of our pets got the love and attention they needed while we were away. She sent us updates and pictures multiple times a day, which was much appreciated. Highly recommended!

Kaitlyn is so great with our animals. She stayed the weekend with our cat and dog, and she kept us updated throughout her time with them. She is very responsive, and our animals really like her. Usually they miss us when we're gone but when we got home they seemed to want to stay with her 😊

Edith stayed with my crazy puppy and my very shy kitty for two full weeks while we were on our honeymoon! She took amazing care of them and we got photos and updates every day. She was able to keep up with our high energy dog’s demands AND our shy kitty even came out to see her at night in the quiet. Our cat never really comes out for other people! Edith was amazing and we would have her back any time!
Cianna was spectacular, stepping in with very short notice for an extended stay (2 weeks) after some health concerns with one of our dogs made me hesitant to leave him in the kennel for that stretch. She was awesome with the dogs, on top of all their needs and concerns, and was very communicative throughout. The dogs may have been a bit sad to see us come home at the end of the trip as they loved their time with her.

James was fantastic even before the sitting began. Was extremely communicative about my guys' needs and what I needed. He sent pics and vids throughout the day of thwir various activities, and my pets felt extremely comfortable around him. Was immediately responsive whenever I texted him to check in. Will absolutely be hiring again next time I need to.

Reichel was great! Offered to come over before the actual booked weekend so she could meet my dog and get a better idea of her care. She followed up with me throughout the weekend and sent pics of my dog. I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I will reach out to Reichel in the future!
