“Coco is 15 and has never been left with anyone but family. Circumstances changed and we needed help. Nicole has been a blessing to us. She has done many drop-in visits and just recently housesat while we were away on vacation. She very willingly did a few household tasks for us; taking in mail, watering plants, etc.. It was such a blessing going away and knowing Coco was in good hands!”

“We are so thankful we found Carley! Our 3 boys absolutely love her, and she handles them all so well! We are always at ease knowing that the boys are well taken care of when we are away. Carley updates us with texts, pictures, and videos of the boys while we are away, and we are never left wondering how they are doing. Carley is extremely accommodating, trustworthy, and respectful. We could not recommend her enough!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life and I am a huge animal person. I've taken care of dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I love getting to know new pets and their unique personalities! I work during the evenings from 2:45-11pm so I have time during the mornings and afternoons. My days off are Friday and Saturday so I have more availability then. I can walk your dog, play fetch, take them to the dog park or anything your dog loves to do. I take my dogs walking or hiking on a daily basis, and they love to swim.

“Jared was great, attentive and communicated well. Was glad to have someone caring for my dog while he was in cone head mode and had to stay behind on Thanksgiving! Would definitely re-book”

“This was Anna-Li's first time staying with Bouy at our house and I couldn't have been more pleased. We came home to a relaxed dog, who didn't seem to have even noticed we left ; ) It was a wonderful feeling to say the least! Thank you Anna-Li! We hope you will agree to stay again!”

“Logan is so kind and was so attentive to our pup! We definitely plan on using his services again. We feel very lucky to have found him on Rover. We are new to it, and I was skeptical about how it would work but Logan is a gem!”

“Taylah was great with Pepper. We got frequent updates, she engaged with Pepper and took her for a walk and gave her great company. Taylah also came by for a meet and greet which was super appreciated. We would definitely book her services again. Pepper loved her!”

“Lila did a fantastic job watching our 8-year old pup Bodie! She was easy to communicate with and we felt 100% comfortable that Bodie was having a great time with her. Would strongly recommend her to anyone needing someone to stay with their pup!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Kayla! She took excellent care of our dog and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us confidence that our dog was happy and well cared for. It was clear that she genuinely loves animals and treated our dog like one of her own. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”
“Haleigh is amazing with both my very friendly and my very shy dog! She sat in the rain for an hour to win over my shy pup Bijou! By the end of her stay Bijou was sitting on Haleigh’s lap and getting lots of love! Haleigh is great at giving updates and notifying me of any concerns and sending pictures. One of my dogs is on a lot of pills and supplements and Haleigh made sure she took them all. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: My motto: Leave them better than you came in. Whether that means extra cuddles, play time, daily walks, cleaning cages, or cleaning the house, I will make sure that by the end of my first visit, your pet will feel happy, comfortable, and safe with me. About me: I have had pets my entire life and am well-acquainted with the needs of various animals. In addition to my childhood pets, I have taken care of animals for friends and family for about 10 years now. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, and birds and understand the importance of finding someone you trust to care for your pet. It is no stress on me to live with your pet for a week, come by for a walk, or drop in and visit throughout the day. I can work around my schedule any day of the week to ensure your pet gets the care they deserve. I can easily leash and crate any animal who requires it. Your pet will get food and love every day (obviously!) If needed, I will take your pet for walks regularly and take pride in my ability to keep a space clean, including cleaning up after a pet in the yard or in public. All doors and windows will stay locked and will be checked before I leave the residence, all lights will be turned off when not in use, and I don't run washing machines, dryers, or dishwashers when I am away.
About: Every animal brings pure joy into my life, and I genuinely adore caring for all pets—from energetic wanderers to quiet, gentle souls who take a little time to warm up. I meet every pet exactly where they are, learning their unique language, respecting their boundaries, and making sure their days are full of comfort, safety, and genuine love. Living with my own three-legged dog and having nursed my sweet cats through cancer, I bring deep patience and calm confidence to medical routines, medication schedules, and unique physical needs. Whether your companion needs a brisk walk, a gentle ear scratch, or thoughtful care with their daily treatments, I’d love to connect and give your furry family member the dedicated attention they deserve! I have an open, flexible schedule dedicated to pet care from Sunday to Thursday (all day and evening). Whether your pet needs an early-morning walk, mid-day playtime, or evening drop-in visits and medications, I can easily match their exact routine. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is keeping their environment familiar, safe, and stress-free. I strictly follow your established routine—from exact feeding and medication times to favorite walking routes and play habits—so your pet feels secure and comfortable in their own space. During every visit or house-sitting stay, I provide attentive companionship, clean food and water bowls, and handle any necessary light tidy-up around pet areas. You will always receive detailed updates with photos after each visit, giving you complete peace of mind that your home is secure and your pet is happy, loved, and well cared for.
About: I have taken care of several dogs for several families for my entire adult life. I have watched dogs from puppy age up until older adult dogs. I also have a dog at home. I am available every day except on every other Saturday. I can care for pets any time of day, including overnights. I only cannot board. I take the dogs outside or for walks and I maintain a clean and safe and loving environment for all pets in my care always.

About: I have two cats and grew up with dogs. Love caring for fur babies and everything in between. I have been a cat mom for 4 years now. Love my two cats. I work full time Monday-Friday 9-5 and full time availability on weekends. Also have flexibility during the week. Excited to get started and work with your fur bub! I am very attentive and loving. Provide my cats with tons of lovings and treats. Play time is a must! Also make time for photos and videos for memories.

About: I have solid pet care experience — in my own home and staying at owners' homes to care for pets and houses. I have cared for dogs, cats, and even farm animals over the years. I live in a large house with two fully fenced yards, a seasonal pool, and walking trails nearby, so pets have plenty of room to run, relax, or explore on leash. I also have two dogs of our own, Loki (7) and Nelly (14), both friendly, well-behaved 50lb mixed breeds — Loki's a bit more active, Nelly's calm and sweet. They may bark when someone new arrives but warm up fast, so we know how to help nervous pets settle in. Whether it's an active young dog or a senior who needs a gentler routine, I tailor the care to fit. Pet care is woven into my everyday life. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day for feeding, potty breaks, and attention — not squeezing visits in around a job. My own dogs are let out into the fenced yard at least 4-5 times a day, right from the front door, and I take them on a walk daily. With two fenced yards, a pool, and trails nearby, pets get plenty of room to play and explore. Because I'm home consistently, sitting jobs fit naturally into my day — your pet gets frequent check-ins and a routine that doesn't feel rushed. I take pet care in my home very seriously — I consider pets family, and the top priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease from the moment they arrive. My main focus is hosting sits in my own home, but I'm also open to sitting at a client's home nearby. I have done several sits in other people's homes, and I take that responsibility seriously: I make it a priority to learn a pet's routine — feeding times, walk schedules, favorite spots, any quirks — and stick to it closely so there's as little disruption as possible. I'm also a respectful guest in someone else's home, treating the space and belongings with care, just as I would want someone to treat mine. Whether it's my place or yours, pets get consistent routine and full attention.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred West Millbury walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in West Millbury maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Millbury choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
