About: As a child, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As an adult, I have vast experience caring for animals. For 25 years, I did pet sitting and house sitting in the Boston area before moving to Puerto Rico 13 years ago. The first month I lived there, I found a box of kittens in the road. I have been a rescuer since, being one of few who take on the most challenging cases. I have saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats over the years and I have seen it all. Nothing intimidates me or grosses me out. I will give baths, dispense medications, clean up accidents, whatever is needed. I am 58 years old and am very reliable and trustworthy. I am 58 years old and do not work anymore so my availability is wide open. I do sometimes go to Puerto Rico where I am in the process of selling my home but the dates for those trips are flexible. I generally find that caring for pets in their own home is ideal as they really do appreciate routine, stability, and a familiar environment. However, I am certainly willing to care for them in my home as well and offer a fully fenced in back yard for dogs. There is an 11 lb dog at my house but he is used to cats and dogs coming and going so he should not pose a problem (or I can separate them, if preferred). In terms of routine, I am willing to adapt to whatever you have established and have no problem with giving medications, baths, or any other special care needed. With 13 years of rescuing in Puerto Rico and 25 years of pet care before that, I have seen it all (and nothing grosses me out!). If you like frequent updates and photos, no problem. If you like to relax and not think about home when you are away, no problem. Your beloved pets are in safe, loving hands.

About: Hi! I’ve loved animals my whole life! My own fur babies are 11 and 14 and I’ve had them since they were kittens. I’ve been pet sitting for alittle over two years now. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, and even ferrets! I have experience with pets of all ages (puppies/kitten to seniors) and all sizes. I make sure each pet is shown the love and care they deserve. Im currently a college student who is doing school completely online so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available all days of the week and at any time that is needed. The care and support I give to each fur baby is different based off of their needs. If you have a younger fur baby that needs lot of play I will spend all the time they need to get their energy out. If your have an older fur baby I will make sure to adapt to there needs, for example if they need to go slower on a walk, that’s no problem!

About: I am a mature single woman. I had a purebred Pomeranian whom I’ve loved and cherished for the last 16 years. Mister Cooper passed away in December. I can’t bear to get another dog but miss his companionship terribly. Since I work remotely and only require a router and a modem, I thought I’d try loving other people’s pets while traveling at the same time. Cooper was diabetic, requiring insulin injections twice a day. He was also blind and deaf. Cooper and I took 3 nice long walks every single day, until the last couple of years. We would walk in blizzards, nothing stopped him, he LOVED it! I am prepared and comfortable caring for pets with any physical ailments. I will travel just about anywhere in the country or the world.
