About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly love caring for them! I have hands-on experience with a variety of breeds, including Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, and German Shepherds. I understand the unique personalities and needs of each dog of all ages and make it my mission to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just a cozy cuddle session, I treat every dog like my own. You can trust that your pup will be in warm, reliable, and capable hands! As a teacher, my schedule becomes much more flexible after June 17th when the school year ends. I babysit on Tuesdays, but aside from that, my days are open for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I’m excited to dedicate more of my time this summer to spending quality time with pets and providing dependable, loving care whenever needed. I provide a safe, loving, and calm environment for all pets in my care. I have a fully fenced-in yard where dogs can safely play and stretch their legs, and there’s a beautiful park just a short walk away for fun walks and exercise. Whether in my home or yours, I follow your pet’s routine, provide plenty of affection and supervision, and make sure they feel secure. I also send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
“Sue is wonderful! My dogs and I got to meet Sue and her dogs before she boarded them. She really is patient with my little dogs and understands their behaviors. One of my dogs is very anxious and barks a lot. She dealt with it well and realized he was just unsure of the environment. My 6 pound Pomeranian took a few days to warm up to her but in the end she did. Sue didn’t push herself on my dog and just let my pup come to her. She took special care to walk them and make them feel as comfortable in their new environment. Sue also took time each day to send me photos and texts so I knew they were ok. I have already booked her for two more weeks this summer. I recommend her with your dogs too. It is obvious she loves and enjoys dogs.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 6 years and dog walking for 8 years, caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable, and genuinely caring looking after your animals. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and making pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets and adapting to each animal’s unique needs and personality to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I am currently enrolled in college, but have the summer free. I’ll have open availability and be free every day for walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or extended stays. I’m flexible with scheduling and can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend care as needed. I provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment by following each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medications. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets, prioritize safety at all times, and keep owners updated with photos and communication while they’re away.
About: I've been a dog walker and pet sitter for 10+ years for family, friends, and clients. I have experience in veterinary medicine for 5+ years and have found a deep passion in caring for animals for my career. I'm a student so I have a variable schedule, but I am home often. I don't have a pet anymore, but it would bring me joy to treat your pet as if it were my own! I treat animals how they are used to being treated by their owners. If they need space, I give them space. If they need lots of attention, then I'm happy to provide that too!
“Kendra was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in I knew Scout would be well cared for and would also have a fun furry companion to play with. Kendra is very attentive to details, warm, welcoming to cuddle a sometimes shy dog and my pup enjoyed lots of exercise and play. Thank you Kendra!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of the boys again. They were excited as soon as we pulled in the driveway and you received kisses from Paxton, which you know is extremely rare! A testament to your kind, caring demeanor with them!”

“For a recent family vacation we used DogVacay for the first time. Mariann was an excellent introduction to the service. We received daily messages with images, so we always knew our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend.”
“Jennifer took such good care of Archie and his special medical needs. He did not seem stressed at all. She sent me updates multiple times daily. I would highly recommend her.”

“Radhika is obviously a lovely person and it was nice to meet her. She sent pictures and let his know our dog was settling in and doing well. She responded quickly and was flexible and kind when we had issues with delays.”

“Very grateful for Jen and her family for being able to accommodate and take care of my Oreo with very short notice! Jen was very responsive and provided daily updates with pics of how Oreo was doing the entire time I was away. I can tell he was loved and well taken cared of by Jen and her kids! Also love the fact that her property has a huge fenced-in backyard which provided a safe space for Oreo to run around in! I highly recommend Jen and would absolutely entrust Oreo with her and her family again in the future!”

“Thomas and Amy were awesome with our dog! To start, they were very accommodating, even with a last minute booking. When we got there, Thomas showed us around the property and made us feel like our dog would be very comfortable there. They have a big area for the dogs, with plenty of space for them to hang out, play, relax or run around. They made sure to keep us updated while we were away, sending us plenty of pictures and videos of his many walks, play time and hanging out. They definitely made our dog feel like he was home and part of the family. We will definitely use them again and will recommend them to our friends!”

“Nancy was great! Our dog can be slow to warm to strangers, but quickly got on with Nancy. We got pictures and videos that really helped the family while we were separated from our guy. We’ll definitely reach out again, couldn’t ask for more.”

“Krista and Henry were able to take care of our dog, Ginger very last minute when we had to go out of town unexpectedly. Ginger was clearly very well cared for and we got really nice daily updates! Definitely plan on having Ginger go over there next time we’re out of town!”
About: Hello! My name is Rylee, i currently own two cats but have been a previous owner to a pitbull adopted from my local shelter. My dog was unfortunately abused as a puppy and had some behavioral issues so I am very use to dealing with these types of dogs. Although I have not owned a dog since, I love all my friends and families dogs dearly. I will be more than happy to provide toys or treats your dog enjoys to have fun while away from home! I treat every dog like it’s my own and will always reach out with any questions or concerns while they are in my care. I have frequent experience dog sitting for my aunt’s two dogs, four cats along with taking care of their fish. I also have experience with administering oral and topical medication to dogs that I have pet sat for and following specific feeding routines. Please feel free to message me to talk about caring for your furry friends! I currently work a full time job but that does not stop me from helping out your pets! I will likely do better with an animal that can manage 6-8 hours without being let out during weekdays. Weekends that I have open availability, your pet will get my full attention! I am more than open to staying in the home to help accommodate your pet and make them comfortable while you’re away! I like to stick as close as possible to your average daily routine with your pets to make things easy for you and them! When staying in peoples homes I am very conscious of keeping things clean and tidy and helping out with other things such as watering plants, bringing in the mail, putting out the trash and making sure things are secure as I come and go!

“Elaine and her husband Ken are wonderful. I felt assured and at ease with my pup Gator staying both overnight & day time with them. Very professional, caring, kind, keeps me updated through stay, great yard for play. Gator is excited to see her and their dog Brady when driving towards their house. My husband and I will definitely have Elaine take our pup again !!”
“Daisy and Gunnar love spending time with Jacqueline and her daughter. This is our 4th stay (both short and long boardings) and will gladly continue using in the future and would recommend to anybody!”

About: As the former Director of Operations for a no kill animal rescue in Texas, I have a huge fondness for furry creatures. After spending years caring for homeless pets in the Dallas and Worcester area as well as working as a veterinary technician and in an emergency room for animals, I'm looking to bring my skill set to your pet's home. I have experience handling shy and fearful pets, and am able to handle all medications and temperaments/quirks your pet may have. Even better, I'm ready to meet your fur baby today! My shelter residents were family while they stayed in my care, and your pet will be treated the same. While I'm first and foremost a feline lover, my time in rescue really engendered a love of dogs for me as well. I'm partial to large breeds, but have yet to find a face I can't love! Anxious pets are my specialty, and I have the patience needed to form new friendships with all of my fur friends. There's always time for furry friends, and luckily, my favorite activity is making sure your pets have everything they need to feel comfortable when their best friend has to be away. An animal's safety is my priority. Dogs without a fenced in yard will only be taken out on leash, and cats will not be allowed outdoors.
“Paul was great! This was our 1.5 yo doodles first boarding experience and she loved it. She ate great, slept great and had fun playing with the other dogs. We will use Paul again!”

Thomas & Amy have a space that’s a dog’s dream, with a fenced yard and a quiet community to explore. I have a particularly reactive dog that can be a handful if he isn’t watched over correctly and they did a great job. Sent lots of pics and videos. Will rebook in the future!

Frankie is so happy when he comes home from Margav & Paola! It makes me feel so good that I know Frankie is safe and comfortable in their home. I love the pictures they send. The communication is great and they are always very fast to respond. The huge backyard is perfect for Frankie to run and play! Thank you Margav & Paola!

Andrea and Joaquin took such good care of my baby, they made him feel so comfortable and safe, and really helped rest my nerves about boarding my cat for the first time by sending lots of pictures and updates. They also accepted my request very last minute which I really appreciated! I will definitely be having my baby stay with them again in the future

My dog Percy had a great time with Lingwen and the other dogs she had at her home. Lingwen was kind enough to meet Percy before his stay with her and I could tell she cares very much about dogs that stay at her home. She was attentive to our instructions for Percy and sent several updates that reassured us he was in great hands. She was also flexible with pick-up and drop-off time and Percy was in great shape and spirits when I picked him up. I hope I'll be able to leave Percy with Lingwen in the future.

Reichel was absolutely amazing! She was absolutely amazing with Frank! From the start, they were communicative, punctual, and so kind. I really appreciated the photo updates and detailed check-ins—it gave me total peace of mind knowing my pup was happy and cared for. Frank came back relaxed and clearly well-loved and we’ll definitely be booking again!

We love James! He was great to work with, but most importantly, our dog Bella had a great time. Bella is getting older, and we've been worried that she's been getting very stressed when we leave her at a kennel. We decided to try something different for this trip and tried Rover, where we found James. He kept us updated daily and kept us in touch. Bella and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
