About: Hello fellow animal lovers! I grew up with both cats and dogs - over 20 years with both and I love them all. From a Shetland sheep dog to a Great Dane to lovely shelter mutts, I love getting to know pups' unique personalities. I also have a special talent for winning over standoffish cats - just give me a couple of days. About me - I'm and education and training professional working a hybrid job based out of Portland, Maine. From northern California originally, I love exploring the coast, traveling, reading, and sketching & painting (poorly - but no one says you have to be good at your hobbies!). I travel too much to have a pet of my own right now, so I hope you'll let me play with yours! I work a hybrid job, meaning my schedule allows for full-time with your pets Thursday evenings through Monday evenings (in the office Tuesday through Thursdays). I am happy to discuss specific needs and schedules with each client. I will do everything I can to provide safety and comfort for your pets while you are away. If you'd like any addition house care for your home (e.g., watering plants, picking up mail) please let me know! Outside of caring for your pets, I am open for general house sitting.

“Stephanie was very responsive to any questions, and best of all the animals were all very calm when we got home. They usually are overly excited when we return from a trip so this was a relief. We feel she did a great job of looking after our 2 cats and dog.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in Alaska raising ducks, chickens, rabbits…even a ferret! I’ve always had dogs and a cats. I currently live with a senior pup and a young cat. We have several backyard chickens too! I worked as a professional dog walker/pet sitter for a number of years in Connecticut. I’m used to being outside rain or shine. I also know the importance of being able to adapt to each pets’ individual needs including special diets or medication. I work from home with a lot of flexibility so with proper planning and coordination I can be there to meet you and your furry friends’ needs. I have a fenced yard and a dog who doesn’t mind the company of other well socialized animals. We do have a cat and small child so please consider that before booking. If staying at your home, I will treat it just as my own with respect and consideration for you and your family and your privacy.

“Sergey was terrific! He came by to meet our dog before the pet sitting appointment and was very patient and caring. He was on time and dependable. If we visit Portland again we will definitely ask for him to pet sit our dog again.”

“Madeleine was a wonderful sitter for my little pup! Rusty really liked her right from their first meeting. She stayed at my house which was perfect because Rusty is used to someone being home all the time. When I returned, the house was exactly the way I left it. I would highly recommend Madeleine for per/house sitting!”

About: I've had animals my whole life. I have house sat my friends and family's pets for years while they go on vacation. In my spare time I work with the animals at the Animal Refuge League both dogs and cats. They have provided different types of training for both cat and canine care. I work from home so I am able to house sit and still continue working. This allows me to be with youe pets as often as possible during your time away. I do not care for pets in my home since I have a cat and a dog myself. (They get watched by my roommate while I'm away)

“Grace is wonderful! She took great care of our needy pets, sent lots of pics which we loved and her communication was perfect! This was our first Rover experience and it could not have been better! She took great care of our home and our pups loved her! Thank you, Grace!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals most of my life. I grew up with a dog and a rabbit, and I’m now a proud dog mom to two wonderful pups, Mola and Edwin. I understand how much love and attention pets need because I give it every day! I also regularly dog sit and walk for friends and family, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or simply making your pet feel safe and loved, I’m here to help. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, but I’m available for late afternoon, and evening visits during the week. I’m also open and flexible on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. If you’re looking for someone dependable outside of standard work hours, I’m happy to help! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. While I don’t offer boarding in my home, I’m committed to providing reliable care in your pet’s familiar environment or through drop-ins and walks. About: Hello! I am a full-time remote working professional in the pet wellness industry. If you have a strong internet connection, I am a great choice for your home and pet needs. I have over 40 years of experience with my own dogs, rabbits and frogs (yes, frogs!). I do, unfortunately, have a cat allergy so I would not be able to stay in any homes with felines. I work remotely full-time therefore can be available to be in your home daily, even all day if needed or desired. My home is also open for day-to-day pet care in my home. I have a fenced in yard for your pets. I am currently pet free and look forward to spending time with your fur babies in my home or yours.

Sara did a wonderful job caring for our fur kids. Our dogs are elderly and she was able to administer all of their required medications and feeding needs. She kept the house spotless. She is a top notch communicator and provided several photos and updates on our dogs’ activities. We are truly thankful for her help and flexibility, especially given our request was last minute. We highly recommend her! Thanks Sara!!
