“We were skeptical about leaving our two dogs with anyone but familiar family members, as they can be a lot! One of our dogs is especially anxious around new people. Amy was great and came over to meet our dogs beforehand to help ease their (and our) anxiety. Amy stayed at our house for the weekend we were away and sent many updates, pictures and videos throughout the days. Amy was very knowledgeable on how to handle our fearful pup. She was patient, kind and gentle. We are very grateful we found Amy to watch our animals. We would definitely recommend Amy to others!”

About: I love all animals! I grew up with dogs. Some of them have even grown up with me. I have experience with dogs, cats, pigs, birds, fish, and reptiles. I’m currently working a few part-time jobs but can usually make time to care for your pets. I’m flexible with price as well. Especially if you’re close. Message me and let’s figure out what works for both of us. I am currently only accepting walks and check-ins at the pet owners' homes as I am not allowed pets at my apartment. About: I’ve had pets all my life but I’ve been a sitter for friends, family, neighbors, and clients for about 16 years now. I have training in caring for puppies and seniors and can give medication in both pill and injection form. When you leave your pets with me you will be leaving them in the hands of someone who will care for and love them just as you would in your absence. I work part time in the evenings for 5 hours shifts. It makes it easy to work your pets schedules around my work and they will always be my first priority. When I take care of pets, I take care of them in your home. I find it makes it less stressful for the animal because they are in a familiar environment. I follow their routines to the letter and will spoil them rotten! I do sometimes bring my dog with me when I pet sit if your animals get along with other dogs, and you’re comfortable with it. I find it gives all the pets extra enrichment due to the ability to socialize with another dog.

“Vickie sent us lots of photos of our fur babies and asked clarifying questions about one of their meds which I greatly appreciated! (It's not your typical sit). We will hire her again when we need someone we trust to care for our cats, administer meds, and give insulin to one of them!”

She played with the kitties until they were thoroughly pooped out, kept them well snuggled and fed and even went above and beyond by bringing in our mail, dealing with a contractor and putting away our meal subscription delivery. She comes highly recommended!!!”
