“Julie was great! Sent photos when she checked on my dogs and even fed them and gave them water. Super communicative, friendly, and responsible. I look forward to having her watch my pups again!”

“Nathan is taking such good care of my very active doggy duo! He's helping them (and me!) through a transition to being home alone all day for the first time in their lives and it's been a tremendous relief to know that they are getting exercise, enrichment, and attention from Nathan during the day. He has been communicative, flexible, and highly trustworthy. It's clear that Nathan is a dog lover and understands their needs. I'm so grateful for his time with my dogs and he has my wholehearted recommendation!”

“My dog Lucy loved Jade. She came over 3-4 times a week, walked, and hung out with Lucy. Jade was great and Lucy looked forward to seeing her. I would still be using Jade if I didn’t move, but would use her again if I go back. Cannot say enough good things about Jade and how great she was with my dog.”

About: I am COVID vaccinated and perfectly happy to mask up for meet and greets. I have 13+ years experience with a difficult and anxious dog. Im able to provide a calm presence for nervous/fearful dogs and I have years of experience with administering oral medications. I’ve had pets my whole life, ranging from cats to dogs to hamsters to rats. I work full time during the day, but I am able to do morning and evening check ins for your pets. I’m a daily cat box scooper in my own home. My weekend availability it higher for longer visits as needed. I am a big fan of maintaining as normal of a schedule as possible for your pets. I’m happy to indulge any quirks (I’ve wiped bottoms after potty breaks) that your pet may have so we can have the best experience together.

About: Our family would love to spend time with your dog! We had a Shitzu Llaso Apso for the last 15 yrs, but he passed away. We're not quite ready to adopt another dog but he left a serious hole. We'd be ever so grateful for you to lend us your pup to soak up our attention! Brenda has had dogs her whole life. From puppies to old buddies. We'll take your instructions seriously and make sure your dog is happy and loved. Dogs under 40 lbs are the best fit for our space and we limit our pup sitting capacity to two pets at a time. If your pet needs 1 on 1 care just let us know and we'll do our best to arrange it! We have two kids (12 & 14) who went to the"PET" (Pet Education Training) class at OMSI last summer and are serious about treating your dog well. We love to play at the park and go for neighborhood walks! Or just hang out in our fenced yard if that's your buddy’s speed. Reach out, we'd love to meet your pup fur-real! Brenda works part-time from home and loves the energy that dogs bring to her workday. We have a fenced yard and love going for walks. We take your instructions seriously when it comes to caring for your pup. We have experience with dogs of all ages. If you have any questions just text/call us at anytime during your dogs stay.

About: It's no secret that I love animals more than people (no offense). There is something so pure and uncomplicated about the bonds we form with our pets, and leaving them behind is never easy, no matter the reason. When your bestie needs a buddy, you'll want a sitter who is not only present in the room, but present in the moment; someone you can trust to be just as attentive to their emotional needs as their physical ones. As a member of your pet's care team, I consider myself to be an extension of their family. My priority is to foster a comfortable, engaging, and loving environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I strive to be the next best thing to having you there, and to provide consistent communication and trustworthy service that enables you to travel stress-free. I have been pet sitting and dog walking professionally since 2017 through Rover, and work part time as a Pet Care Professional with Hot Diggity Dog Walking. With nearly 60 rave reviews and over 20 repeat clients, I am proud to have been among the first to achieve Rover's "Star Sitter" status, a distinction which "highlights sitters with a track record of highly rated care for pets and responsible, reliable service for pet parents." I am certified in first aid and CPR via ProTrainings, and have over 30 years of pet ownership experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, and horses. I have experience working with different ages and temperaments, including those anxious, hesitant, young, elderly, and/or injured pets who may benefit from having some extra care and thoughtfulness built into their routine. I am comfortable administering medications, and I'm happy to work with your pet on any specific training regimens you have in place, to maintain consistency in their education and environment. If this feels like a good fit for you, please reach out with a bit about your pet and their specific needs, and we can compare calendars to schedule a meet-and-greet. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your furry family member(s)! I am a full-time pet care provider, and intentionally spend as much of my time at home with your pet as I can, to minimize anxiety while their people are gone. I will occasionally need to leave for a couple of hours here and there to visit my regular dog walking clients during the day, or to attend band practices or other commitments in the evenings, but I do my best to prioritize quality time with the animals in my care. I like to maintain your pet's typical routine as closely as possible, as I find the familiarity and consistency keeps them feeling calm. Depending on their needs and energy levels, we'll have a balance of indoor play time, walks around the neighborhood, and cuddle time. Rest assured I will be loving on them as if they are my own pets! This is how I meet my own needs as an animal-obsessed touring musician whose travel schedule doesn't allow for personal pet ownership. :)

“Madelynn is a great communicator! I love that she always kept me up to date on how the dogs were doing along with pictures of their smiling faces. I’ve already recommended her to my friends. Definitely a 5 star review!”

Ashley K.
“If you are looking for someone to watch your animals, who is a proven responsible pet owner, then Ashley is who you want! Many years ago Ashley took in a stray border collie mix, who at first glance appeared to be a perfect dog. It didn't take long to figure out that he was far from perfect, as he suffered greatly from separation anxiety, not to mention fear of thunder, fireworks, and yes - even the noise garbage trucks make. Over the course of his lifetime she had to "remodel" 3 bathrooms (because he tried to hide and locked himself in), and repair a leather couch that he tore up trying to find a good hiding place. While most people may have given up and surrendered him to a shelter, she did not. As he aged he developed Cushing's Disease, went blind and deaf, and had difficulty navigating stairs. Where many people may have decided it was time to say goodbye, she instead sought treatment for the disease, and bought a harness that he wore 24/7 - so that she could assist him going up and down stairs. It wasn't until she felt he was no longer enjoying life that she finally decided it was time to say goodbye. That dog was deeply devoted to Ashley - just as she was to him. Ashley's view on pet ownership is simple: You aquired the pet - so you signed up for the job of providing for them and caring for them - whether it's convenient or not. Trust in Ashley - your pets will thank you for it!”
