About: I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall, I am starting my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability on my calendar. In general, during the Fall and Spring semesters, I will be conducting my practicum on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week, so am only unavailable on those days. Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

About: I’ve had the joy of raising and training a variety of dogs since I was a kid, including two beagles, a basset hound, and now my two golden retriever siblings. From 8-12 weeks, I’ve nurtured all with patience, love, and attention, teaching them skills like sitting, staying, belly rubs, and fetching without barking or showing aggression. I’m experienced with puppies and senior dogs alike, ensuring they receive the proper care and training for every stage of life. My dogs were always family, and now I’m bringing that same level of care and affection to your furry friends. Having raised my dogs from puppies to adults, I understand the unique needs of each stage, from playful pups to calm, loving companions. My focus is on maintaining a stress-free, positive environment while keeping your dog active and engaged. Whether it’s puppy training or senior dog care, I bring dedication and personalized attention to every visit. As a housewife who is home full-time, I have the flexibility to accommodate your pet’s needs throughout the week. Whether it’s a midday walk, extra playtime, or overnight stays, I’m available to provide consistent, loving care whenever your dog needs it. My routine revolves around keeping your pup happy, healthy, and relaxed! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced-in yard where your dog can play freely and safely. My two friendly pups, one social and the other more independent, provide a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. If your dog prefers more personal space, I can crate them as needed for their comfort and security. I pride myself in creating an environment where your pet will feel at home, with plenty of love and supervision every step of the way!

About: Hello! My name is Anna, I am from Ukraine and I truly love animals with all my heart. I’ve spent my whole life around pets - dogs, cats, birds, and caring for them brings me joy and peace. I’m gentle, kind, and always patient, especially with nervous or shy pets. I understand that every animal has their own personality, and I do my best to respect that while also making them feel safe and loved. I’m very responsible, and when your pet is with me, I’ll treat them like my own with lots of cuddles, attention, and care. I’m also very respectful of routines and special instructions. Whether it’s a fun walk outside or quiet time at home, I’m here to make sure your pet feels happy and relaxed. I would be honored to care for your furry (or feathered!) family member. 🐾 I have over 15 years of experience caring for animals. I grew up around pets and have always felt a deep connection to them. Whether it’s walking energetic dogs, comforting shy cats, or looking after birds, I love making every animal feel safe, loved, and happy. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I’m always happy to make it part of my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon visits, or overnight stays, I plan my schedule around the pets I care for to make sure they get the attention and time they need. I’m responsible and very organized, which helps me stay consistent with feeding times, walks, medications, and play. I also love spending quiet time with animals, just being present with them. Whether it’s a busy day or a calm one, pet care is something that brings me joy and peace - it never feels like a chore. 🐶🐱 When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space free of hazards and stress. I follow all instructions carefully, especially with food, medications, and routines because I know how important consistency is for animals. I’m very gentle and respectful with pets, especially if they are shy, elderly, or need time to adjust. I never force anything - my goal is for your pet to feel safe and loved. I also pay attention to their body language and needs, whether they want playtime or just quiet company. Building trust is important to me, both with pets and their humans. I always communicate clearly, send updates, and treat every pet like they are part of my own family. 🐾

“Karin does such a good job with my animals. My dog loses his puppy mind whenever she shows up, and it’s so obvious how much she loves animals and adores our dog. She has watched our cats as well and given them medicine, and they like her too 🙂 10/10 would recommend Karin!!”

About: CATS, DOGS, AND REPTILES! I've cared for kittens, adults, and senior cats my whole life. Love walking dogs big and small as well. Frequent volunteer at animal shelter for changing cat and dog cages and socialization. Currently have my cat Meadow. Last two photos are my old pets Nessie the axolotl and Plissken the Sinoloan milksnake. Im a college student that can be flexible around your schedule. Can work weekdays and weekends with more availability weekends. Can work days and nights. I take expert cat care seriously as I want to give your cat the same love as my own: toys, clean boxes, fresh food and water, and plenty of pets. As for dogs, I want them to have fun walking and playing outside in nature.

About: I've had the opportunity to work/volunteer at a dog kennel for 7 years. I've taken care of small puppies, big dogs, and everything in between. If you need a dog walker, house sitter, or just a play mate...I got you! I've also have two little puppies back home (Milo and Kiba)! I work fully remote, so I can stay over or swing by if needed! My time is fairly flexible, but would like a days notice of possible. Can make this a frequent routine! I unfortunately cannot provide housing as I live in an apartment complex at does not allow it. However I'm free to come over and visit if provided!

About: I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu, her name is Zola. She loves people and other animals. I am currently home more then expected and would love to help other working people with their pets. If your pet needs a certain food or specific routine, let me know and I am happy to help maintain the normal. When I first got my dog, it was so hard to leave her during the day when I went to work. She was so small, and I didn't want her to be lonely. I understand how hard it is to leave a fur child and want to help others be comfortable knowing they are being looked after during the day or overnight. I will love them like my own. I am currently working from home and have ability to 'schedule' accordingly to cover dog needs - walking or playing and to schedule time as needed to walk near by dogs as well. I do not have a fenced yard. I walk with a leash. I can 'fence' in a small area for free time in the yard. I also can let dogs out on the deck and use 'gates' to block stairs. I care for all pets the same as I do my own. I work remote and have a flexible schedule allowing me to play with and walk your pups at various times. And a lot of time for snuggles and petting I have a good size deck with fenced entrances for general relaxation outside. My yard is not fully fenced but a good size for small dog play
