About: Every animal deserves unique care and special attention to their specific needs. I have high standards for my puppy, how she’s treated, and I hold every animal in the same regard. My name is MJ (or Meghan). I have raised a few dogs over the years, and have always been an animal advocate and enthusiast…I have watched family and friends pets (including snakes, spiders, chameleons and chinchillas), and have used Rover for my fur baby, so I know how important finding the right person is for my precious pup. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs, playing with critters, cleaning their living spaces and even fostering dogs. I enjoy the healing energy animals bring, as well as the exercise. I love all kinds of animals! Slightly unrelated, I also have a bachelors degree in psychology and I use that in daily life. I am currently doing dog training courses through Rover, as well! (Any extra assistance can’t hurt, right? Reminds me a lot of psychology, actually) I bartend part time at a restaurant, so I have a lot of free time, especially mornings. My day is centered around playing with my dog (hide and seek with toys or treats or myself, tricks for treats, tug of war, fetch and taking her on walks). It has slowed down since she got diagnosed with early onset advanced arthritis, so I thought it would be fun to look for something I would love to do but also make a little extra money doing. We just moved to Las Vegas six months ago so I’d like to build a foundation here. I have booties if necessary (for medium -medium large dogs), treats, and poop bags already at my disposal. I live in a two bedroom two bathroom condo, so the care of your cutie would be lots of playtime, walks and reward driven activities!

After hesitating for so long to use Rover, I can't wait to use it again and again with Heather as my go-to for Baby's needs!”

About: I have had pets in my family since I was born and have be asked by neighbors and friends to care for their pets while they were on vacation since the age of 9. I would walk, feed, play and just hang out with them, whatever was needed. I have done bathing and have administered medication upon request. I honestly enjoy spending my time with animals. I was married last fall and currently I run my own business making flower crowns and fantasy artwork, which I sell at festivals here in Las Vegas. The shows I do are in Spring and Falll, and since my shows are seasonal and limited, I thought, hey, since I have always loved animals this type job would be flexible and a perfect match with the time I have. I adore my pets! Matter of fact, I have adored all the pets I have ever had, (which were many) all the way down to the carnival goldfish I won! About: I’ve had a dog(or multiple) in my house since I was 6 years old. From the start I treated them with kindness and patience. Especially since I had a gentle giant of a dog. I did start taking care of my dogs when I was 12 years old though and it was exhausting but so worth it. I’ve seen my dogs grow up for 10 years and they’re still wild as puppies. I give my current dogs various medications and have special diets. I just got a puppy so that’s been a good challenge. I am currently potty training, deterring unwanted habits, playing for hours a day, and watching her so closely. I love all pets though, I just have more experience with dogs, and quick at adapting to special needs and dogs with boundaries. I am available any weekday, and am able to have a free weekend. I take turns with my mom watching our rescue puppy but she is mostly guaranteed to be home or able to take her on car rides if I need to be somewhere else. I also have a reliable car I cannot care for your pets at my home, we have 3 dogs and only one gets very unhappy with other dogs so it’s best not to overwhelm him. However! I can and will respect your home or living space if you’ll allow me, I don’t need much, just the supplies needed to care for your pet and some space to occupy myself(if pet sitting). I care for my current pets by paying attention to what they’re trying to communicate, whether they need to go outside, play, eat, or get comfy. I walk my dogs very carefully, not pulling on the leash too hard but establishing some control if necessary.

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 10 years old. We’ve had small dogs and big dogs. Plus, I was a professional nanny for 11 years, and the families’ fur babies were always along for the ride. I currently work for myself, remotely, as a coach. My work is done from my phone or laptop, and the longest stretch without a break is 1 hour, occasionally an hour and a half, so I have plenty of time to tend to your fur babies. I worked as an on-call nanny for two years, servicing new families multiple times per week. I know how important it is to do what the (fur) parents ask and to be attentive and respectful of the home.

About: I've been animal obsessed my entire life. We have rescues that are deaf, blind, and crazy! My wife calls me the dogs whisperer because I have the ability to win over even the shyest of pups. If I see you with your dogs, the odds are I'm going to stop you to say hi. They make the world a better place. I have helped find homes for many dogs, goats, sheep, and pigs. About: Animals have been part of my family my whole life. I grew up with Sandy, a German Shepherd, and two Boxers, first was Boxi and then Jackson, then came two English bulldogs, Gotcha and Naps, so I'm very comfortable with big, energetic dogs. I also volunteer as a dog walker in Brooklyn, NY, which has given me experience with dogs of every size, age, and personality. As a young adult I adopted my first kitten, Fufi. When she became a senior she developed diabetes, and I gave her insulin shots twice a day, so I'm confident with medications and with the extra patience and gentle care older pets need. When my daughter was a toddler we adopted our cats Betsy and Bu, and a few years ago Prissy joined the family. We've also loved hamsters, first Sasha and now Tofu. My daughter has grown up caring for pets alongside me, and now we're a mom-and-teen-daughter team who treats every pet like family. We live right next to Anthem park and the foothills, so dogs get fresh air and scenic walks close to home. We stick to your pet's routine, send photo updates, and offer flexible weekday and weekend scheduling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I'm available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and midday check-ins. In our home, first they must get along with our cats. They will enjoy a large fenced backyard for safe play and sunbathing. We follow your pet's usual routine for meals, walks, litter, and playtime, give lots of love and attention, and send photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
