“Nadine was a miracle in our lives and we can’t thank her enough! My husband and I planned what is possibly the last cruise of our lives - he being 94 and me 86! We have 2 rescued pets, an Alaskan Husky and a MaltePoo - both 10 yrs old. Our Husky, Tex, has diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day on schedule & Biscuit who has separation anxiety issues seemed to not panic about our leaving. Nadine was the perfect in house pet sitter for our 2 week absence! She had the experience and background to handle both of our pups care! But, most of all, Tex and Biscuit immediately responded to her loving care. If, by chance, we could still be able to take an extended trip again, we would certainly contact Nadine! “Mackenzie was the absolute best sitter for my fiancée and I. Our dog Moonie can be a bit skittish and takes some time warming up to people but she loved being around Mackenzie. She took the time to come and meet Moonie a couple times before so that Moonie could be used to being around her. Mackenzie took great care of our home and of Moonie. She was very responsive and sent plenty of photos and updates on our girl. I couldn’t recommend Mackenzie enough. She is great!!”

“Kay is a calm and reliable pet sitter. He was easy to communicate with, and we felt that he did a great job making sure that our cat was happy, well fed, and comfortable. I had mentioned that we weren’t sure how Albert would react to the July 4th fireworks, which can be very loud in our neighborhood, so Kay sent an adorable video of Albert calmly observing the firework displays from our living-room window. It was great not having to worry at all about our boy, or wonder if he was receiving the attention and company that he craves while we were gone. We came home to a calm, happy pet and a clean house. We will be happy to hire Kay again.”

About: I have had experience with and knowledge about reptiles, birds, dogs, cats, ferrets, and fish! I regularly research about care for all sorts of pets. I am currently in school but I’m mostly free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I can care for your pets usually anytime on those days. A real circus. Maya and her partner who also stayed handled it with poise, and everyone was fed and happy when we returned. Thanks for letting us get away for a few days! Richard went above and beyond! I have a senior dog who had really bad separation anxiety (as did I) the first two nights I was gone, and Richard did everything he could to make her comfortable, including taking her out frequently throughout the night and offering water and food and different sleeping spots. Also, he agreed to extend his care another day when our flight was canceled the night we were due home. Considering I left him with two dogs and seven (yes, seven) cats, I cannot overstate what a blessing Richard is as a caregiver. He is so patient and kind with all of us!
I couldn’t possibly say enough good about McKenna! I’m a bit of a helicopter cat parent, and leaving my two cats for a week was stressful. I’ve never had a sitter but took a chance on McKenna based on her reviews. She came over before her stay to meet my cats and get to know my apartment and I immediately had a good feeling about her. She was super communicative, always available, and sent me lots of pictures of my babies! My cats looked happy as could be and were playing and sleeping with her, even my shy one. I have used Morgan a couple times now. They are everything and more! I went on a trip and had little to no reception but not once I worried about my dogs. They are everything you could hope for in a dog sitter. They are caring, attentive, loving, flexible, had common sense and on top of it. I will never use anyone else if they are available! Lilliana was great with our 3 dogs. We have one dog who has fear aggression and can take awhile to warm up to strangers and she was very patient with him and he did well with her. She took care of all of their needs and sent pictures to me each day of them which was nice. She cleaned everything up before we returned home and even washed all the linens she used (bath towels/sheets). I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future to watch my dogs.
ABOVE & BEYOND! Rachel was an exceptional sitter for our dog and our new cat. This is my first time using Rover and having someone sit our home, as we have just moved into the area, and she was professional, kind, and incredibly easy for us. Even with our dog's bad back and needing on and off assistance from furniture, she was happy to do so. She was so patient with them. On top of that, she washed our bedsheet, took out the trash, and cleaned the guest bathroom! She was a better guest than my family, haha. Jokes aside, we will certainly be using her moving forward. I wish I could give her more stars!
Torri was an amazing sitter with Riley and gave great updates. Our dog has separation anxiety and is a tough eater and Torri was able to accommodate for both. We feel very comfortable with our first booking and look forward to booking him in the future when we don’t have a sitter.
