Looked up a few people but was looking for someone that lived close to me as well. Didn’t want them driving an hour back and forth. Found Nina was only 1/2 mile from me. Had great reviews and contacted her. She came for a visit about a week before I was leaving and I was able to show her everything I need done. She was very friendly and outgoing. She would send pics and a short text a little bit about each visit. Helps to keep your mind at peace. A real circus. Maya and her partner who also stayed handled it with poise, and everyone was fed and happy when we returned. Thanks for letting us get away for a few days! About: I’ve had a dog(or multiple) in my house since I was 6 years old. From the start I treated them with kindness and patience. Especially since I had a gentle giant of a dog. I did start taking care of my dogs when I was 12 years old though and it was exhausting but so worth it. I’ve seen my dogs grow up for 10 years and they’re still wild as puppies. I give my current dogs various medications and have special diets. I just got a puppy so that’s been a good challenge. I am currently potty training, deterring unwanted habits, playing for hours a day, and watching her so closely. I love all pets though, I just have more experience with dogs, and quick at adapting to special needs and dogs with boundaries. I am available any weekday, and am able to have a free weekend. I take turns with my mom watching our rescue puppy but she is mostly guaranteed to be home or able to take her on car rides if I need to be somewhere else. I also have a reliable car I cannot care for your pets at my home, we have 3 dogs and only one gets very unhappy with other dogs so it’s best not to overwhelm him. However! I can and will respect your home or living space if you’ll allow me, I don’t need much, just the supplies needed to care for your pet and some space to occupy myself(if pet sitting). I care for my current pets by paying attention to what they’re trying to communicate, whether they need to go outside, play, eat, or get comfy. I walk my dogs very carefully, not pulling on the leash too hard but establishing some control if necessary.

About: I've had dogs for over 20 years but began fostering dogs about 6 years ago. I have fostered with the NSPCA and other organizations both here in Las Vegas and in California. I love animals and always want to make sure that they are cared for. I have nursed dogs back to health from many different situations. I am kind and outgoing and have a passion for taking care of animals and making sure all their needs are met. I am used to giving medications to animals and have dealt with dogs that have seizures and dogs with severe allergies as well. I currently share my home with my two cats, Tyler Durden and Marla Singer, and our newest addition, Milo, a 9-month-old German Shepherd/Border Collie puppy who keeps us active and smiling. Last year, I said goodbye to my beloved dog Charles after 15 wonderful years together. Charles lived to be 16 years old, and caring for him through every stage of his life deepened my understanding of the patience, compassion, and attention pets need at every age. From playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets needing extra care and comfort, I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. I am a dedicated and dependable pet sitter who is comfortable caring for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, medication reminders, or simply a safe and loving environment while you’re away, I will provide the same care and attention I give my own pets. Your furry family member’s comfort, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priority. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I structure my days around making sure my own pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection. With two cats and a young, energetic puppy, I’m already experienced with maintaining routines, providing attention, and recognizing when pets need extra patience or care. When caring for other pets, I make them a priority by setting aside dedicated time for visits, walks, play, companionship, and any specific needs they may have. I enjoy creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I provide pet care in my client’s home, where I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own familiar environment. I focus on maintaining their normal routines, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box care, walks, playtime, medication reminders if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care that gives both pets and their families peace of mind.
About: I've been animal obsessed my entire life. We have rescues that are deaf, blind, and crazy! My wife calls me the dogs whisperer because I have the ability to win over even the shyest of pups. If I see you with your dogs, the odds are I'm going to stop you to say hi. They make the world a better place. I have helped find homes for many dogs, goats, sheep, and pigs. I do occasionally take care of pets in my own home, but it's usually non stop playtime so it gets a little crazy. When I come to your home I will obviously be respectful of your pet, property and neighbors.

She is so incredibly sweet, attentive, sincere, knowledgeable, efficient, organized, professional and just an enjoyable person for myself and my furbaby! Our animals (1 dog 3 cats) took to her right away. Seeking her for attention, affection and responded to her immediately. I was relieved, pleasantly surprised and excited. She went over every detail about my furkid, Baby, who has a laundry list of VERY special needs from medical to behavior. Baby is a mostly deaf rescue with severe allergies, stage 5 heart murmor and an ongoing outer ear problem. Heather was able to get Baby to sit & come to her when called. She catered the walk according to Baby's needs, being mindful of her heart condition and her reaction to seeing other dogs. Heather then left me a haND written note summarizing their walk/visit and later posted pictures online for me to view and share! What an outstanding animal lover she is! After hesitating for so long to use Rover, I can't wait to use it again and again with Heather as my go-to for Baby's needs!”
