Hi there! I'm Rich, a semi-retired IT professional that has traded the desk life for working with animals! My wife is also a Star Sitter on Rover (Kimberly L.) and we have two animal companions of our own. A miniature Pinscher mix named Charlie, who is a total ham, and a British Shorthair named "Beep" who loves extra treats! (Beep got her name because she comes running whenever anything beeps!) I love to work with all animals of various shapes, sizes and underbites! I've had animal friends nearly my entire life. Small to huge dogs and many feline friends. I'm excellent with large dogs and bully breeds as well. I once fostered two American Staffordshire rescues from violent homes and placed them in non-violent homes after rehabilitation. So, I have no problem working with difficult pets. I also like to help out with light training when needed! My routine is very flexible and primarily focused on making sure your pet(s) get the most out of each visit. We can hit the usual spots or explore some new smells if that's more your dog's style too. I'd love to meet your pup(s) for walks, play time, medicine admin or whatever else you may need!

Richard went above and beyond! I have a senior dog who had really bad separation anxiety (as did I) the first two nights I was gone, and Richard did everything he could to make her comfortable, including taking her out frequently throughout the night and offering water and food and different sleeping spots. Also, he agreed to extend his care another day when our flight was canceled the night we were due home. Considering I left him with two dogs and seven (yes, seven) cats, I cannot overstate what a blessing Richard is as a caregiver. He is so patient and kind with all of us!

Schedule
I'm free pretty much any time for walks and drop in visits! I'm currently accepting weekly recurring clients and multiple pet clients in the Silverado Ranch area and surrounding neighborhoods: Southern Highlands, Anthem, McDonald Ranch, Seven Hills etc.
