“Katharine was absolutely wonderful as a Rover host. I had a super-last-minute work trip to Hyannis Port and needed to board Ronan for 2 days. This was my first time using Rover and Kate put me and my old pup at ease immediately with her calming presence. She sent photo and video updates of Ronan having long walks on the beach and time in her yard and house. When I picked him up he was so relaxed and comfortable with her, I think he would have happily stayed several more days! I would definitely book with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Annika, and I am a high school teacher looking for extra time with animals. I currently own two dogs and a cat, and have owned many animals in the past. One of my dogs is less than a year old, so I have plenty of puppy experience. All of the dogs I have owned are over 70 pounds, so I also have experience with large dogs. I am also aware of the large spectrum of different types of cat attitudes there are. I am so excited to get some extra animal time in my life. Please reach out if you think I can help you and your pup/cat! I am a teacher with the summer off. I do have some obligations throughout the summer, but will be able to help out when I can. I am aware of the needs that many different types of animals need. I know that puppies need lots of stimulation, older dogs still need love, and cats need what they want when they want it.

“These two were amazing!!! They have two small dogs who are welcoming and loved my Roxie. They have a beautiful, fenced in backyard with plenty of shade and room for the dogs to get their energy out. The house was nice and most importantly, Roxie was clearly well cared for with belly rubs and attention as she seemed to not want to leave! I loved that they offered a visit first to make sure it was a good fit and their communication was great while I was gone. Will definitely use again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs prior to having kids, in my early 20’s. Summer residents and Nantucket residents where we resided before relied on me to walk and dog sit their pets. I’m currently home full time with my two boys. My oldest will be going into kindergarten in the fall and my youngest will be going to daycare part time and be home home with me the majority so I’m available/flexible. I am responsible and very protective of my kids along with clients pets. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your pet for nice long walks during the days on leash.
