“Thank you, Stephen. Maisy loved her time with you. The walks and pets and overall love were much appreciated. Maisy is usually anxious to leave other sitters when we pick her up. However when we came to pick her up from your house, she kept running back and forth between the two of us. That is a sure sign that she had a wonderful stay.”

“Caitlin was super reliable and took great care of my dog while I was away. I appreciated all of the photo updates and could tell my dog was getting lots of love from her family and pets. I will be booking again!”

“Karen is a kind, caring person and I am so grateful we found her. She eased my worries leaving my new dog for the first time. Then when my travel plans went awry, she once again eased my concerns and went above and beyond the help care for our dog. Our dog was in great hands, and being well cared for while we were away. Thank you again! You are awesome!”

“I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. Especially if your dog needs friends to play with and a watchful person to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. :) Thank you so much Julie!”

“Alyne was so flexible and accommodating! We had some return travel disasters- a delayed flight and dead car at the airport. Alyne easily agreed to extending our stay for a night due to delay and dropped our dog off at home due to dead car! Our dog was so well cared for during his stay. Was so grateful to her and will definitely be contacting again!”

“We left our two dogs with Caitlin, one of which is a fairly new and nervous new rescue. They both did great! Caitlin stayed in touch and sent pictures and they came home happily tired having had a great time. Caitlin wax also wonderfully flexible as our return time changed due to unexpected delays. We highly recommend Caitlin and her dog loving home.”

“I am grateful to Marcia for taking such good care of my dog. Marcia has extensive experience with dogs and knows a lot about them. My dog was reluctant to leave her when I was picking it up. I am very happy with everything and would contact Marcia first if I need someone to look after my dog in the future.”

“Andrea and Bob did an excellent job of caring for my old dear dog. They treated her gently and with respect, and when I picked up my dog, I could tell by her tail wagging she was happy to see me yet happy to be there. I highly recommend Andrea and Bob, especially if your dog is old. Their experience in caring for senior dogs is clearly evident.”

About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet & greet—we’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we both work from home full-time. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.
“I cannot say enough positive things about Helena! This was my first time leaving my rescue pup with anyone, and she made it so easy! She sent me daily updates and even dropped Lexi off at my place for me bc I was sick and late to pick her up. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.”

“Cindi sent great pics and regular updates. Clover got a lot of exercise, and adjusted well, and quickly to her first visit with Cindi. Was a great experience for all of us. We felt confident leaving her with Cindi.”

“Kari and her family took such great care of our dog, Bogey. Very proactive in communication and I felt completely at ease during my time away from my dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again with Bogey.”

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
“This is our second stay with Isabella, and our dogs love staying with her. She is attentive and keeps us up to date on how they’re doing. Our past trip we got caught up in some bad weather coming home and she was more than accommodating for a later pick up time which we greatly appreciated! I would highly recommend Isabella.”
“Lucy really enjoyed her time with Michele. She settled in with no problems to a new environment and enjoyed the other companions and fenced yard. The best were the walks! Michele kept in touch and shared photos. Will definitely rebook!”

“Maria was welcoming and loving to Scotty from the moment we arrived for a meet and greet!! He was excited to go visit and Maria sent pictures and messages several times a day while Scotty was in her care. He seemed happy and well cared for when I picked him up.”

“Clare is absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond in every way and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear she genuinely cares about the animals in her charge, and we came home to one very happy pup. We will 100% be booking with Clare again and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Meg is our go-to for reliable pet care. Her attention to detail and daily communications make our vacations more enjoyable; we don't have to worry about our fur kids when she's at the helm. Thank you Meg!!”

“Wonderful! Communicative, timely, knows what she's doing, friendly, goes above and beyond, and sends excellent photos of your furry friend! Took excellent care of my guy Chauncey, will definitely hire her again in future.”

“Sarah did a great job of taking care of our pet kitty Tally and helping us navigate our first time using the Rover service. She kept us informed of her coming and goings and gave exceptional good care of our cat that has kidney disease. We will definitely use Sarah’s services in the future.”

“Sarah took care of our shy kitty while we were out of town. She took time to meet us before her first visit and was very professional and kind. We’d absolutely book her again!”

“Kelly was amazing! She was so attentive to every detail, and the check-ins make me not worry in the slightest while I was away. From a detailed description of each visit to the many photos of my cat Loki, it was clear that Loki was getting the very best care possible. What made it even better is that my cat Loki clearly loved Kelly as well! (I was so worried he'd just spend the whole time hiding, lol.) I can't thank you enough, Kelly, and will definitely request you first next time!”

“Abby was so amazing!!! I work long hours at the hospital and she not only picked my dog up from my apt but went above and beyond, taking my dog to the dog park and the beach! She sent multiple updates throughout the day. She was also easy to reach, very responsive, and friendly. I would highly recommend Abby to anyone needing a dog sitter.”

“My dog, Kiwi, had a fabulous visit with Andrea and Bob! They were extremely communicative and accommodating before our visit. They took care to learn Kiwi’s quirks, likes, and dislikes (she has a big personality, so there are a lot!). They even had toys and balls at their house for her to play with. It’s clear that they are experienced and intuitive dog caretakers, which is so important to me as a nervous dog mom. When I went to pick her up, Kiwi was all smiles and happy body language…I know she had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Andrea and Bob.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

“Wonderful! Our Molly stayed with Sherrie recently and had a blast. She offers a beautiful, safe home with fenced in yard. Sherrie sent us videos during the day which was great! We highly recommend Sherrie and will visit again!!”

“Gus had a wonderful day with Chelsea! Loved that she had a fenced in yard for him to play in and appreciated the photos and feedback during the day. When I picked him up he seemed like he didn’t want to leave, which made me feel good that he enjoyed the time. I got him home and he went right to sleep! Sign of lots of fun had! Very grateful for the care she provided and will definitely book again!”

“Maria is amazing with animals and humans! She provided exceptional care to our Frenchie, Evie. She listened carefully to our request and was able to meet our needs with ease. Maria has fantastic attention to details and her updates during the day provided worried dog parents great comfort. Her home and property provides a doggie sanctuary. Maria went above and beyond when we asked for our little one to get a bath. Our Evie, never had it so good ( a blueberry facial)!!! She came home cleaned, trimmed and soft as could be. I would not hesitate to use Maria’s services again and I can’t recommend her highly enough. You and your four-legged friend is in great hands and care with Maria!”

About: I am a physical therapist who has a passion for working with people, however, I interact with people quite often. SO, what I really enjoy is making the time to cuddle or walk with furry friends any chance I can get. As a former doctoral student, I have learned how to manage time well, organize and prioritize. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. I take all safety precautions to ensure gates are closed when necessary, human food is placed far out of reach, and all doors are shut that lead to tempting, tasty objects such as shoes and remotes. My experience with a variety of breeds and sizes makes me stand out, as well as my ability to handle high energy dogs who may appear confrontational at first. If you choose me to watch your fur babies, there is no doubt that they will be in good hands with someone who is dedicated to ensuring they are comfortable, happy and well taken care off. I have a very flexible schedule, I am in between jobs at the moment, so as long as I have enough notice, I am willing to make anything work! In my clients’ homes, I respect the client’s instructions and can perform any task they need! About: Working professional on Cape starting Rover to exercise more and be with animals! Your pup or kitty come first: what are the instructions we talked about? What’s their mood/temperament at this visit? How many cute pics can I get before my phone storage is full again? Jokes aside, your pets routine and health/safety are what I’m here to maintain — I’ll communicate, play, chat while I give them meds wrapped in peanut butter — you name it, I am paying attention to them. I am in it for the quality animal time! I spent my childhood with horses and learned young how deeply connected we are to our animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life until lately. I’d be delighted to meet some of you here on Cape to watch over your little ones! I work full time and am available for dog walks reliably all weekend and after work. I accept weekend dog boarding. Cat boarding I accept throughout the week in addition to weekends. The animal comes first, simple as that. I offer dog walks around Cape, in home visits to feed and play in the yard, and selective boarding of pups in my own home as that’s limited to weekends only. I offer house visits to kitties as well as selective boarding in my own home. Each scenario is unique — let’s chat!
“Meg is new to us due to the relocation of our previous Rover walker/ sitter. She is extremely well qualified and professional. Gracie generally does quite a bit of protective barking at the door, but greeted Meg like a long lost friend! Just wagged her tail and gave her a kiss. Best friends already. Meg gave her a great walk and Gracie came back grinning from ear to ear! Feel very confident in Meg!”

For Starters - I have ramps into my house and into my completely fenced-in back yard. I make every effort to make your dog feel like they are home. I have several dog beds throughout the house and provide easy access to my back yard. I am adept at giving medications, if necessary during your dog's stay. I live close to 2 cranberry bogs, which I use to walk larger dogs during their stay. I have been a pet owner since 2007 and have rescued a number of senior dogs since that time. Currently, I have a new senior addition to my household; Bailey, a very chill mini-border collie. She gets a long with most dogs and all people. I retired from my job in the pharmaceutical industry at an early age so that I could enjoy many years of retirement and doing the things that I enjoy such as taking care of other people's pets. I have a fenced in yard and provide water bowls both inside and outside my house. I keep a crate handy for separation issues. I have pill pockets for any medications that need to be given.
About: Hi there! I’m a professional veterinary technician with four years of hands-on clinical experience. My background means I bring a much higher level of care, safety, and medical knowledge to your pets than your average pet sitter. I am currently a stay at home mom once my kiddos go off to school for the day. I’ll have late mornings into afternoons for your pet needs. I will not be doing any pet sitting at my own home, but if there ever was an opportunity where it could work out and was needed I do have a fenced in yard and a dog friendly dog
“Kelly is a true professional and she is so capable and caring with animals ! She is definitely someone to trust with beloved pets, as she has so much experience and it is extremely evident in her care! We are so lucky to have her help with our dogs!”

I have worked with a doggy daycare as well and loved every second. I know how important it is to find a pet sitter that really cares! I can go on long or short walks depending on the dog’s ability. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs, so I know the different activity levels. If away, I will make sure your animal is eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom normally, and I will always let the owner know if something seems wrong. I will also gladly send pictures when asked! Can administer medication. I am also fully insured! I will always make sure pets are safe and secure when leaving homes. I can crate dogs if ever needed. I will feed on schedule and go on walks accordingly. I will follow all protocols given by owners, and I will clean up messes from the animals if that ever happens. Your pet will be in good hands, and if anything seems wrong with the animal while you are gone, I will call the owner or, in case of an emergency, bring she/him to the vet. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of time to play with your animals! I am available on weekends and weekdays. I am always willing to fit you in around my open schedule! I provide attentive care tailored to your pet's needs. This includes regular feeding, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection.

“Clare is absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond in every way and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear she genuinely cares about the animals in her charge, and we came home to one very happy pup. We will 100% be booking with Clare again and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“This is the 1st time we used Marc to care for our dog and he was amazing ! We were away for over 2 weeks and he sent us lots of pictures of our dog and the communication was great! I highly recommend him and I will absolutely hire him again !”
