“Jacqueline is just the best. This was the second time she watched our dog Ellie. Ellie is usually fearful of new people but absolutely loves Jacqueline. We got videos, photos, and updates each day. We love that we can enjoy our time away knowing our pets are in great hands :)”

“Emily was extremely caring and attentive to my sweet pup Riley. She cared for her for over a week while I was out of the country with limited reception. When I came home the place was spotless and my pup was happy. Thank you Emily!”

“Sharon was wonderful with watching and bringing our dog to our wedding. She clearly really cares about dogs and making sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We felt very comfortable with leaving him in her capable hands. We will certainly have our dog stay with Sharon again when we are back on the cape! We can’t recommend her more! Thank you Sharon!!”

“Helena was fantastic. She did a great job watching my dog. Very affectionate and loving, neat and tidy around the house, great communicator, gave him his medication. Just a fantastic experience with Helena. Highly recommend.”

“Karen communicated wonderfully, followed our requests and send photos of the babies. We were super pleased with her and will be having her back again soon next time we are away!”

“Susan was wonderful! We left our girls (Pugs) Peekaboo and Penelope in Susan’s care at our home in South Yarmouth for 3 days / 3 nights. Susan kept us informed throughout each day how they were doing and sent photos of them. We will definitely use Susan again when we need a home/dog sitter!!!”

About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes. Growing up, my family had large dogs (90+ pounds) for almost all of my life. I have watched and pet-sat for dogs of all sizes in the past few years for neighbors and friends. I’ve recently moved back to the Massachusetts area after a travel-heavy job for the past few years, so no fur babies of my own yet! I look forward to re-exploring some of the wonderful walking trails the Cape offers with your furry friends! I’m currently working as a server part-time, so have plenty of time to play with, walk, and feed your dogs/cats. I am available for boarding or pet-sitting in your home most weeks, and for walks nearly every evening, plus morning and afternoon shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a large backyard and walking trails within a 10-minute walk from my house, perfect for leashed adventures! I do not have any pets in the house full-time, but may have my parent’s well-trained and friendly rescue in the house on occasional weekends.
“It's been a minute since I used Rover (eight or nine years goes by quick). I had a great Rover sitter out West many years ago when there was no whites on his face, butt, and paws. He was just a black pup then. He walked, ran, and leapt pain-free. 'Mack', like his owner, has just simply gotten older, and is described with whatever adjectives come with the word, 'old' since. Enter Angela. I reached out to her a couple weeks before I was leaving for a week, and she responded promptly. She came to my house a few days later, over the weekend, to meet him. Mack is vocal, overly so at times, and is protective of me, in spite of my attempts to dissuade that behavior, constantly, for 13 years. Get near me, he barks. Just the way it is. Angela gave him a treat here and there while being unwavered and kind to him. He was nipping her heels as I showed her around my place... ...still unwavered and kind. I knew she was the right person, and she took the job which was staying at my house with him for a week. She walked the old man every day, took excellent care of my house (absolutely not asked of her), easily navigated a farmer's dog diet, and fired happy/action pictures of my dog to me every evening. He was definitely loved. He showed his belly in return. He doesn't do that for just anyone. I could tell he was kinda bummed it was me in charge again when I returned. I wanna keep Angela to myself, but it's only fair to recommend her. She's responsible, beyond trustworthy, and truly great with doggies! Highly recommended!”

“Zach was so great with our dog Ducky and 2 cats. Zach was so helpful and allowed for us to enjoy our vacation knowing the wonderful care that he was providing our pets. We highly recommend Zach for any animal care needs.”

“While we were away for a medical procedure, our 15 year old dog became quite ill, requiring lots of attention and complex caregiving — and house cleaning — as well as comforting. Caitlin managed all parts of this VERY difficult booking, which was much more than she bargained for, with competence and grace , and kept her safe and comfortable while we scheduled the Vet and raced home. We were so relieved to have such close and competent attention for our little girl, and grateful for Caitlin‘s grace and confidence at a precarious time. We can’t say enough good about Caitlin and we can’t thank herenough.”

“Jen was the best sitter I could have found for my 115lb. Golden. I knew the day I met her and watched how Charlie reacted with her that she would be the person I could trust to stay with him. It was our first time leaving Charlie with anyone other than family, also it was the longest amount of time we would be gone. She stayed with Charlie for 6 days and 5 nights. Our flights were delayed both going and coming home. Jen was so accommodating, she came earlier than I had booked her for and stayed later at the end. I was completely at ease knowing Charlie was going to be so well cared for, even loved. He's such a creature of habit and Jen followed our routine perfectly. It was obvious from the way he reacted to Jen that he knew she was a good person and a dog lover. My husband and I will feel so much better about going away and leaving our dog, knowing that we will be able to call on Jen again. We were so fortunate to have found her!! Thank you so much Jen!!”

“Loki was well taken care of and Bridget responded quickly with my questions. She went above and beyond in that I asked her to do a couple of extra things for me which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend her and will use her again in the future if the need arises”

West Yarmouth pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sharon did a fantastic job caring for Rufus and Arlo for 3–4 days in early April. From the very start, she was incredibly engaged and kept us fully updated with frequent texts and lots of pictures, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear the dogs were happy, comfortable, and in excellent hands. One of our dogs had an ear infection at the time, and Sharon was especially attentive and conscientious in making sure he received the care he needed. We truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and attention to detail. This was our first time working with Sharon, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We would absolutely hire her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter. Sincerely - Bruce, Claire, Dixie & Russ
Our experience with Helena was absolutely fantastic! From the start, communication was clear, prompt, and reassuring. She took such great care of our pup, providing regular updates, photos, and plenty of love and attention. It was obvious our dog felt comfortable and happy the entire time. Highly recommend and will definitely book again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was our first time with Kristen and it went extremely well. She gave us frequent update updates with pictures, and really seemed to enjoy watching our two dogs. She came for a meet and greet prior to us leaving and our reactive/anxious dog did great with Kristen. I definitely plan on asking Kristen to watch our dogs again in the future.
