About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My family has always had multiple dogs in our home and a house isn’t a home without a dog. For years I have cared for friends and family dogs while they were either at work or vacation. Now that I am retired I have a lot more time to give helping others who need support to care for their dog. I am available all hours of the day and night. I can pick up dogs or they can be brought to my home. I am semi retired and this allows me lots of flexibility in my schedule. I have a fenced in yard that backs up to conservation land that I use to exercise my own dogs. If allowed by owner, walks on the beach at low tide is a favorite activity for our dogs. During the summers I walk the many trails this area has to offer, many with ponds the dogs love to swim in.

I currently work part time in their Critical Care Unit as a Certified Veterinary Technician (veterinary nurse). I have a B.S. in Animal Science and an A.S. in Veterinary Technology. From the moment we met her at a 'meet and greet' we found her to be friendly, caring and experienced. We booked her for 5 days to stay at our home and it was the best decision! Our dogs, being older , have their quirks but Kathleen made us feel comfortable about leaving them. She sent us daily photos and videos telling us how well they were doing.
