About: I trained 3 service dogs for NEADS weekend puppy raiser program. All 3 dogs passed their service dog tests, 2 of them assist children with special needs and the other dog is a courthouse therapy dog. I also had a Bernese Mountain Dog for 10 years! Last year I volunteered at The Cat Connection in Boston where I cared for the shelter cats there. I am flexible on times to walk, but mornings and afternoons work best for me! Just let me know what time works best for you. I am comfortable dealing with any animal and will follow any special directions needed. About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My family has always had multiple dogs in our home and a house isn’t a home without a dog. For years I have cared for friends and family dogs while they were either at work or vacation. Now that I am retired I have a lot more time to give helping others who need support to care for their dog. I am available all hours of the day and night. I can pick up dogs or they can be brought to my home. I am semi retired and this allows me lots of flexibility in my schedule. I have a fenced in yard that backs up to conservation land that I use to exercise my own dogs. If allowed by owner, walks on the beach at low tide is a favorite activity for our dogs. During the summers I walk the many trails this area has to offer, many with ponds the dogs love to swim in.
