About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.

About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. About: Hello! My name is Annika, and I am a high school teacher looking for extra time with animals. I currently own two dogs and a cat, and have owned many animals in the past. One of my dogs is less than a year old, so I have plenty of puppy experience. All of the dogs I have owned are over 70 pounds, so I also have experience with large dogs. I am also aware of the large spectrum of different types of cat attitudes there are. I am so excited to get some extra animal time in my life. I am aware of the needs that many different types of animals need. I know that puppies need lots of stimulation, older dogs still need love, and cats need what they want when they want it.

About: Growing up with two dogs I understand the love, and attention animals crave when their owners are away from home. That is why I feel that it is important to plan out fun activities, provide extra snuggles, and provide your pets with love and care. I have about five years of experiences with dog sitting. My experiences varies from walking dogs, and doing overnight stays. I am a full time teacher, my hours for work are from 8 am- 2:40 p.m. I am able to help care for pets before 8 am, and I am flexible after school gets out at 2:40! I've watched friends and coworkers animals regularly and have never had any issues, I would love to meet and become friends with your fur friend I work a regular 9-5 and go to the gym, so I should have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry family members, ofcourse I would prioritize our furry friend first b4 the gym. When I had my dog, we had a big fenced in backyard. Which I still do and we would chat eachother around, id run out of breathe quicker but after a quick break we'd always be back at it 😁

My days provide good flexibility to accomodate walks, let-outs, and canine slumber parties. I have a 12 year-old Pyrenees/Border-Collie mix, who loves to get out and move around, so I'm no stranger to the 4-5 walks/day schedule ;) Maintaining your trust, and your furry family member's safety will always be top priority.
