I’m a lifelong pet and dog lover with a 7 year-old female spayed lab, Ellie, of my own. I’ve cared for family, friends, and neighbor’s dogs for more than 25 years. My Ellie is very calm, friendly, highly socialised, and great with other dogs and children of all ages.

Julie did a wonderful job watching our six month old puppy Valentino. He immediately fell in love with her backyard and quickly became pals with her black lab. We picked him up and he seemed happy and played out. He loved his weekend away! We would be Julie again at any time. :)

My dog Phoebe had a great time and was cared for very well during her two week stay with Julie. I have no hesitation about choosing Julie again if and when I plan to take another trip or the need to find a place for Phoebe to stay should arise. Highly recommend this sitter!

Schedule
I work from home and operate a licensed family daycare with success for more than 25 years. I have weekends off where I have plenty of time to take walks with my own dog and others. I am available for over night dog stays at that time also. My work area is separate, but I have a large fenced in yard with grass. My own dog plays with the children outside, but mostly stays upstairs when we are in. My Ellie often prefers the couch over her dog bed, and I’m fine with that. 😊

I have a completely fenced in backyard where the dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise, but are never outside alone. My dog Ellie loves playing with other dogs and has a portable ‘doggy pool’ when it’s hot and plenty of shade. If your dog enjoys the comfort of their crate or special bed, feel free to bring them along.Home also has central air to keep your fury ones cool.All drop off and pick ups has to be by 7PM

A typical day
I live in a nice residential neighborhood with all owner-occupied homes and many dogs. I routinely walk the daycare children in a “wonder wagon” and my dog on a leash. I walk my dog in the evening, and I play catch with the dogs as well. I live near a park where I take leashed dogs to walk after work and on weekends.
