Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort, and attentive care as they age. I put a lot of love and care into every pet I watch. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry baby, so I treat every dog as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule where I work from home somedays. My partner also works 5 minutes from our house and is able to help with potty breaks during the day. We spend a lot of time in our yard or walking the canal in nice days and would love a wagging tail to join us. We have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood to go on walks. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a full finished basement perfect for any size dog to enjoy!

About: Hello! My name is Annika, and I am a high school teacher looking for extra time with animals. I currently own two dogs and a cat, and have owned many animals in the past. One of my dogs is less than a year old, so I have plenty of puppy experience. All of the dogs I have owned are over 70 pounds, so I also have experience with large dogs. I am also aware of the large spectrum of different types of cat attitudes there are. I am so excited to get some extra animal time in my life. Please reach out if you think I can help you and your pup/cat! I am a teacher with the summer off. I do have some obligations throughout the summer, but will be able to help out when I can. I am aware of the needs that many different types of animals need. I know that puppies need lots of stimulation, older dogs still need love, and cats need what they want when they want it.
