When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. “Kathleen was such a joy to work with when my husband and I were looking for someone to care for our black lab (1.25 years old) while away on a long weekend trip. From the initial outreach, Kathleen was extremely responsive and accommodating to schedule a meet up before booking. She was extremely welcoming and loving to our pup. Kathleen also was very easy to communicate with in the days leading up to our trip to make sure we were all on the same page with the time to drop off Chappy and other details of his stay. During the stay, Kathleen provided multiple updates each day - many walks, lots of play time, videos, pictures, and texts to ensure he was having a great time and doing well. We felt so comfortable with Kathleen watching Chappy, especially since this was our first time using Rover and having someone other than family watch our dog. Kathleen was extremely organized, returning all of Chappy’s items we left her with and was very easy to work with. We would definitely recommend working with Kathleen and we will definitely book with Kathleen again for future needs when we are away. She was so great!”
