During our trip, she cared for our two ladies like they were her own fur babies. We absolutely loved the daily photos and updates she shared with us (it looks like they had so much fun!)! While we were away, Bri even reached out to us to get the 411 on how our pups handle thunder as a storm was expected later that day -- I thought this was such a thoughtful gesture! It can be so stressful to leave your fur babies for any length of time, especially somewhere new, but knowing that our love bugs were being so well cared for by Bri truly put our minds at ease. About: I’ve taken care of dogs prior to having kids, in my early 20’s. Summer residents and Nantucket residents where we resided before relied on me to walk and dog sit their pets. I’m currently home full time with my two boys. My oldest will be going into kindergarten in the fall and my youngest will be going to daycare part time and be home home with me the majority so I’m available/flexible. I am responsible and very protective of my kids along with clients pets. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your pet for nice long walks during the days on leash.

“Sara took such great care of my Norma the 4 nights we were on the Cape for vacation! Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. I will definitely have Norma stay with Sara the next time I’m on the Cape! Would highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for great dog care!”

About: I used to work for a doggy daycare for three years and worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I am CPR-certified for cats and dogs and I have basic animal first aid knowledge. I have had both cats and dogs most of my life. I am a full-time student, however, I do not have classes every day and am also available on the weekends. I would be more than willing to check in on your pets at whatever interval you are comfortable with. I am a responsible and respectful person who will follow your instructions and wishes regarding your pets. I have had pets with specific requirements and understand having specific instructions for your pets.

About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for years and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications to both dogs and cats, and I’ve also provided intensive care for my own dog following a leg injury, including medication, monitoring, and following veterinary care instructions. I currently have two very loving, social dogs who enjoy meeting both people and other animals. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m committed to providing patient, attentive, and loving care while they’re with me. I work a flexible client-based schedule that allows me to check in on pets throughout the day. I’m able to make visits between clients and provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and care throughout the day. I’m also available for boarding and can accommodate different routines based on each pet’s individual needs. My home is set up with pet safety and comfort in mind. I keep medications, food, and anything potentially harmful safely out of reach. I use separate food dishes and feeding areas for guest pets and my own dogs to help prevent food related conflicts. I also have dog gates throughout the home so pets can be safely separated when needed, along with a spacious area where they can play and relax. My two dogs are very friendly and enjoy the company of both people and other animals.

I also grew up with cats and am happy to keep any and all furry friends company! I have over 15 years of experience with everything from pet-sitting to babysitting and house-sitting, and I find it important that you feel comfortable while you're away from home. I am extremely trustworthy and responsible and would love to provide that comfort to your family. I have a corporate work-from-home job that offers me flexibility to help most weekdays and weekends. I am available to be around as often as needed, whether that be one-time drop-ins or spending a day working from "home" with some furry coworkers. I always make sure everyone is safe and happy, with a healthy awareness of dog behaviors and experience with reactive animals. About: Lifetime raising and being around a menagerie of different creatures. Dog sizes from giant to miniature. Cats of all shapes and breed as well as exotic animals. I have a full time job that occupies my time. I do have a car on island and substantial break time for mid shift walks/ check ins. If I’m not at work I’m at the beach or curled up watching movies. I have reliable transportation on Martha’s Vineyard and am able to get to most places quickly without much hassle. I live in a beautiful home but would prefer not to board in my space at the moment given the tic issue.

About: I have had pets my whole life and currently have a 14-year-old Havanese named Penny who I adore. I am very reliable, on time and caring. I work full time Mon-Thurs and am available Friday, Saturday and Sunday for dog walking, over night care or boarding.. also can run pet related errands. I can care for your pet either in my home or yours. I am very flexible and reliable. My home is on an acre of land.
