About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 15 years old and have had a black lab my whole life. My friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets which has sparked a passion in me. My sister’s dog is handicap (using diapers/harness for stairs) and I’ve found through my experience watching him that I have built confidence in taking great care of pets. I look forward to hearing from you! I currently work in an office Monday through Friday 8-4pm. I am available for boarding on weekends and evenings. I am completely available on weekends and limited during the week. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex. I can crate your pet if needed. About: My love for animals started at an early age. As a child, I constantly begged my parents for a dog. The rule was that we could only get one when every family member was old enough to help care for it. With my youngest sibling being six years younger, I had a bit of a wait – but we finally adopted our first dog when I was a teenager, and soon after, a second joined the family. That’s when my pet care journey truly began. Since then, I’ve adopted my own pets (currently have one six year-old DSH cat) and regularly help care for the pets of friends and family when they’re out of town or at work. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated with love, respect, and personalized care – just like one of my own. Whether your fur baby enjoys walks, playtime, snuggles, or simply prefers quiet company, I’ll make sure their unique needs and preferences are always honored. I work from home full-time, which allows me the flexibility to take walks and breaks throughout the day. I’m available Monday through Friday as well as some weekends. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss specific dates and times. I’m located near the beach, which makes for a great walking spot but I’m also happy to stroll through the neighborhood if your dog prefers a quieter route. I have a yard where we can play fetch or run around, though it is not fenced in. Inside, there’s plenty of space for your dog to explore and relax freely. If I need to step out briefly, I prefer to use a crate for their safety – if that’s something your pet is comfortable with. I also have a six year old DSH cat. He’s friendly, but tends to keep to himself when there are others in the house so he will likely stay in a separate room by choice.

“Sara took such great care of my Norma the 4 nights we were on the Cape for vacation! Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. I will definitely have Norma stay with Sara the next time I’m on the Cape! Would highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for great dog care!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs prior to having kids, in my early 20’s. Summer residents and Nantucket residents where we resided before relied on me to walk and dog sit their pets. I’m currently home full time with my two boys. My oldest will be going into kindergarten in the fall and my youngest will be going to daycare part time and be home home with me the majority so I’m available/flexible. I am responsible and very protective of my kids along with clients pets. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your pet for nice long walks during the days on leash.

I’m up usually around 7am and can take the dog out first thing, then usually take the dogs out around 11pm for a last potty break.
