“Detail oriented, thorough, kind, excellent planning and foresight, just awesome! This was my first Rover experience at the time of my booking I had an elderly dog and three cats, we had not gone on vacation in years due to our dog having arthritis and other health issues, but we had gotten her to a point where she was doing really well and we felt we could leave her with someone. I needed someone who could administer meds, live at the house and be otherwise highly attentive to her needs and our cats. I had about given up on some of the people I’d spoken with on Rover, I just didn’t feel comfortable with anyone. Enter Jillian. In our initial texts I got a very positive vibe and immediately liked her. We hadn’t even met yet but I could tell she was a gem. When she came to the house to meet our pets she was aces and again I instinctively knew she was going to be great. Since our meeting our dog very suddenly passed away and when I let Jillian know her response was compassionate and she gave me some time to figure out what we would do. When we spoke again we decided on two visits a day for the cats and she sprang into action to adjust our booking. Jillian was every bit as great as I knew she would be and even surpassed my expectations. This woman is thorough, she thinks ahead, she looks to solve issues even before they happen. We had a snow storm while we were gone and she made sure she got to the house. We received daily photos of all of the cats, who by the way hide from strangers all the time, but not Jillian! I think she’s a cat whisperer of some sort. She was on time for her visits, left the place clean, took her shoes off to walk around the house, so thoughtful!! On prior vacations when I’ve left my pets I always notice they’re a little ‘off’ when I return, not with Jillian. They were very much themselves which speaks volumes. I highly highly highly recommend her. We are already booking another trip because this was the first time in years that I really relaxed and didn’t feel any worry about the pets.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been walking/caring for them as soon as I was able to! Since probably around age 15 I started dog walking and cat sitting for neighbors, family and friends. I worked at a doggy daycare / boarding facility last year which I absolutely adored. I have experience working with various breeds, ages, and needs. I’m good with pets with stranger danger, dogs that pull / are anxious around other dogs, senior dogs, puppies, sick pets, clean up, and handling medication. Have basic bathing experience but not grooming. Unfortunately, I’m currently unable to have a pup of my own so I love that I’d be able to get that love on rover! Looking to do drop ins, walks, overnights - not currently boarding but open to discussing. Love hiking and would love to bring your pup too if you’d like. See my cat care details for info on cats. I’m a total crazy cat lady with 3 of my own! I’ve been fostering for many years and am good with dog/cat combos. Open to other animal care as well (fish, birds, reptiles, rodents etc.) I’m a graduate student so my schedule is pretty flexible. Looking forward to hearing from you! 😻 I’m currently a full time graduate student evening nights and weekends are typically my most free times. I am usually unavailable Monday from 10-1, Tuesday Wednesday Friday from 830-430 and Thursday from 830-11:15 and 2-4:45. I do have cats of my own so I’m not currently boarding. Open to overnights I have 3 cats of my own that I love more than anything. I’ve been fostering for years. I rescued my last cat a year ago after she was badly abused and feral. It took less than a month for her to turn around and now she’s the sweetest baby who is always seeking cuddles. I’m clean, responsible, and flexible and will always give my 100% when caring for your babies! I am a total animal lover, and if your pet loves attention, I’m all for it & if they don’t, I know to respect it. I have bathing experience as well if you’d like me to do baths. If you’d like a more challenging walk for your pup, I’m a big hiker with my own car and would love to bring them along if they have flea/tick prevention. Also good with medication. Not currently boarding but open to having conversations if you have a smaller dog or need cat boarding.

We’d hire her again in a heartbeat!”
