“Emily was quick to respond when I was needing someone to take care of my dogs with very short notice. Throughout the process she has been very communicative, reliable, and my dogs were well taken care of.”

About: I've always had pets in the house since I was little, dogs and cats mostly. I have two of my own dogs, trained them both when they were puppies. I also volunteered at the Wisconsin Humane Society for 8 years, I was a dog walker, which entailed cleaning rooms, walking them, feeding them, playing with them, etc. Always had so much fun seeing all the types of dogs coming in. I'm currently working full time but I normally work the same days, shifts varies from week to week. But I would like to add more fun to my life and not so strict with work work work. So I would love to add more Rover days to my weeks as time goes on. I have a fully fenced yard, plenty of space in the yard and in the house. I have baby gates to rooms that don't need to be entered and at the top of some of our steps to prevent falls. Always pay attention any unusual signs that the pet might be in distressed. Also aware of little things as I come across them with the fur babies.

“A M A Z I N G!!! Our dog had an opportunity to spend some serious time with his grandmother. Liz made it all happen. She was punctual. She was flexible. She was caring. She was perfect at documenting, photographing and updating. Liz provided us with outstanding service and peace of mind that our dog was in very capable hands. Hope we can link together in the future. She is the best.”

About: I work at a doggy daycare where I care for all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities! I monitor group playtimes and behavior! I also have experience feeding dogs and I truly have seen everything in the book and I love it! I currently work part time and love exercise! On my off days I am available! Feel free to reach out when you need some extra help! I make sure that the dog is safe and feeling comfortable! Making sure the dog has water to drink at all times and taking them out for potty breaks frequently!

About: I love spending time with dogs and have an easy time getting along with different varieties of dog and dog personality. I'm happy being active with your pup and getting in some good walking or fetching time, or just chilling out and scratching behind the ears if so desired. I'm glad to serenade your pet as well, I love a captive audience! Simply let me know what you want for your dog while you're out of the house and I'll provide it. I am glad to cater to your desired approach of dog ownership, strict or relaxed, as long as it does not include physical punishment. Regarding the time slots listed - I might have a hard time making the earliest of the first shift but I should be able to manage 8 AM, and I could gladly go as late as 5 or maybe 6 PM, but wouldn't care to go as late as 10.

“Sarah is amazing. Communication was great, and she did everything I requested. My baby slept the whole afternoon after his walk and playtime. At the end of the visit, I got a bunch of pictures and a very detailed report. Contrary to my past experiences in Rover, where they would stay on their phones the whole time, she was actively playing with Milo and even correcting him when necessary. She also remembered what we told her about Milo’s love for breaking soft toys and took it away before leaving. So far, she is going to be my “go-to” person in Rover.”

About: I know how stressful it can be having to leave your beloved fur baby in someone else's care, which is why I care for every animal like they are my own and to the highest standard so that you can stress less. I've had Goldens my whole life and I've been dog sitting since I was 15 years old. I currently have two rescue Pit Terrier mixes. I love being active and going for long walks and jogs with dogs. I enjoy playing, cuddling, scratching bellies and making sure your fur babies get all the love, attention, and stimulation while you are away. I have experience with fearful and geriatric dogs. I am a High School Spanish teacher during the day (se habla español). I can come by or board after 4pm on weekdays or on weekends anytime. In the summer, I have lots of availability and flexible hours! I have a fenced yard and two parks close by that are great for walks. My two pups love Rover play dates and get along with most dogs.

About: I've raised animals for most of my life (mine and others). My friends and clients like my soothing and happy presence. I can't wait to be your pets' 2nd best friend! As a writer and young professional, I'm currently working a part-time, but flexible job. I have (almost) open availability so I can prioritize your pet(s) the way you would! Clients will often choose me because I am attentive to watering any plants as needed and love to tidy up in my spare time in addition to taking care of their furry friends!

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats the last 15 years of my life, and see myself with a pet by my side for the rest of my life. I currently have a 5 year old female golden doodle named Lulu who is my best friend. We enjoy going on long walks, park visits, exploring nature and socializing in downtown Milwaukee. I love all sorts of cats and dogs, no matter the breed, shape or size! During the summer I have off as I work in the education field so my schedule is much more flexible. I am willing to accommodate nearly all schedules with notice, both on weekdays and weekends. During the school year I am limited to late afternoons and evenings, along with weekends. Holidays are available with advanced notice. I have a fenced in backyard with gates. I always put a collar on my dog when we leave the house and she always has a leash. I take great pride and caution when having my pets outside as I give them and other animals the space they need. I will always ask permission from owners as to what works best for their companions.

Kylee W.
“Kylee takes care of all animals as if they are her very own. The time she takes to make the animal feel safe and comfortable is great to see. After a great walk with kylee, the pups are exhausted!”

Bjorn S.

“While not a dog owner, I had a cat that was very much a dog and couldn't handle more than a day or two left at home alone if I were to go out of town. Bjorn was always my go to person to have come and watch my cat when I was away because as an animal lover and good friend, he knew how much the cat meant to me, got along with him just as well as I did, and enjoyed spending time with him. Last spring, my cat grew increasingly sick and the vets had assured me that there wasn't a whole lot of time left. In the cat's very last week, I was extremely conflicted because I had plans out of town from months in advance that I couldn't change. I was pretty panicked, knowing that anything could happen while I was away and didn't want to leave that responsibility on someone else, should anything come up. Bjorn, as always was up to it, helped comfort him all the while until I returned home, ultimately having to let go and say goodbye, days later. It really meant a lot and I'll always be grateful for that. He's very good with animals of all sorts and would be an excellent caregiver. Can't recommend him enough.”

“An enthusiastic "thumbs up" for Angie and her children!!! Angie and her children took excellent care of our family dog, Willa, a golden retriever. Willa settled in nicely with all the attention, kindness, and loving care. We were so pleasantly surprised when Angie sent us periodic texts of photos of our dog, safe and sound in Angie's home. Never a kennel again.”

Mara G.
“Mara has worked with my pets (a cat and dog) for 5+ years and my pets see her as another family member! Aireon (the dog) loves the constant snuggles and scritches and Paula (the cat), who usually takes some time to warm up to strangers, loves purring by her side. Mara is the first person I go to when I go on work trips or going on vacation because she sends regular photo and video updates of the animals. I always try to book Mara before searching for other pet sitters because I know she's almost always available and treats my animals like they're part of her own family.”

Stephen Z.
“Stephen is very caring, attentive, and genuinely cares for animals. Whether it’s walking, feeding, spending quality time, Stephen goes above and beyond to ensure pets feel happy, safe, and loved. I always feel totally at ease knowing my pet is in his care.”
