About: Growing up my family owned a welsh springer spaniel. He was one of my best friends. I felt the same excitement he did when I walked in our front door to his excited jumping. After 13 years, he passed away of old age. Since then I have wanted to get a dog of my own, but I’m waiting until my husband and I get a house to take that step. In the meantime, I love caring for other family dogs. This is a super fun side job for me. I love all types of dogs, have experience with senior dogs, and am happy to care for more than one pet from the same home (whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, etc.). If your dog is nervous around new people, I will make sure to give them the care, attention, and space that they need. I always give frequent potty breaks, feed them at their regular time, and am very careful around doorways (so no one runs off on any solo adventures!). I always do an initial home visit with my husband so I can meet your pets before setting up a first booking with a new customer. I send great picture updates, so hopefully you won’t miss your dog too much. You will undoubtedly love how passionate I am about keeping your pet in a safe, loving environment while you are away. I am currently working as an 8th grade teacher. I am able to get to your home between the hours of 4pm-10pm on weeknights. I am available all day on Saturdays. I am available Sundays after 10:30am. I am available to do home visits to feed your pets, groom with a brush/bath, play their favorite games, go on long walks or runs, and spend the night if you need a house sitter. I can also take care of other pets including cats, hamsters, fish, chickens, etc. If you need someone to water plants while you are away, I can take care of that too!

About: I work as an ICU RN and even though this entails humans, I extend my knowledge to animals. It allows me to identify and problem solve health and behavioral issues, with the tools to create solutions. I genuinely offer compassion to all animals, not just cats/dogs. I give my time, respect and patience. I have taken care of all kinds of pets; different species, breeds, sizes, temperaments, and needs, ever since I was a child. My childhood home was always filled with an abundance of animals (& also reptiles, aquatic life and arachnids). I look forward to meeting your extended member of the family! :D The perk of being a RN is that I only 3 days a week. This leaves me extra time during the week for other activities. I am an animal lover, so what better way to fill a few hours of time than with more furry friends! I will not be doing boarding at my own home. I have always owned dogs( Pitts and huskys), cats, fish, rats, rabbits, turtles, bearded dragons, snakes, and other animals.. but currently have none of my own.. I live in a decent sized house with a nice yard so there is plenty of room for animals to roam and stretch their legs. I give animals all the attention they want and need. Couches and beds are free game as long as it's ok with you, I wouldn't want to upset what an animal is used to. At my place there are Treats walks and belly rubs galore. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open and my routine can be changed to fit what your pup or other animal needs. I have no animals of my own and usually only take one family at a time for boarding and 2 families for doggy daycare unless discussed ahead of time with clients so I can match your pets normal care schedule and routine.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
