About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I recently lost my job, so I currently have a very open schedule! I do have a couple of established clients outside of Rover, but my schedule is still very flexible. I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. I also live just down the street from a dog park, for pups who enjoy socialization and time off-leash. Additionally, I have a patio space for pups who enjoy hanging out al fresco when the weather allows. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. You can be sure I will keep things neat and tidy, and always make an effort to leave a space cleaner than I found it. No matter the service or location, every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.
“I could not recommend Mike and his wife Heather more! My dog has been consistently going going there for a year and as a young doctor working up to 28 hours in a row, I would not be able to have managed without them! They are very flexible and truly do love working with dogs. Recently, my dog got very mambas colitis and needed to go to the vet twice. Initially I wasn’t able to take too much time off but thankfully Mike was there. He offered to even cook Whiskey boiled chicken and rice and even offered to come to the vet with us the second time because he was genuinely concerned as well. I have a very anxious dog, but have been able to leave him while on vacation and not worry because I was getting constant updates- both good and bad about how he was doing, how much he was barking, how he was pooping, etc. it helped me enjoy my vacation more. I would highly recommend them for anyone who has a dog that is anxious and needs more one on one attention or with a chaotic schedule like myself.”

About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm experienced with dogs from all walks of life. You name it, I'm down for it. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.

About: As a dog lover my whole life, I wasn't able to get one of my own until a year and a half ago. Having our golden retriever Tommy has completely changed my life for the better! I absolutely love dogs of all kinds and enjoy being outdoors and playing with them. I work full time remotely, so I am extremely available and flexible to your schedule. I can accommodate any needs and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and everywhere in between. Tommy has been professionally trained and gets along great with other dogs. Pets are welcome on furniture if that is allowed by their owner, so they can stay as comfortable as they are in their own home. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, especially during the adjustment period. My goal is to create a safe, low stress, loving environment, and I provide regular updates so owners always know how their pet is doing.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, even dogs that can be leash, collar, and dog aggressive when walking. I am mostly available later in the week and weekends due to being a full time student, but have breaks in between my school days! There is a green area for dogs down the street from me and a quick 15 minute walk towards the lake for more walking paths!
