“Jaritza was wonderful— she not only arrived early, but also provided updates throughout my puppy’s drop-in visit. Jaritza effectively communicated with me and ensured to keep me up to date with his activity. With this being our puppy’s first drop-in visit, she most definitely put our minds at ease.”

“Kaitlyn is great! She did a good job helping with my babies when I had a long day away. I will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thanks Kaitlyn!”
“Blaise did an amazing job with my cat!! Was on time, communicated super well, and put me at ease for the holidays! Would highly recommend and book again!”

“Overall she took great care of our cat Piper! Easy to book, she reached out the same day we made the inquire. She was great at communicating with us regarding visits, she would send pictures as well. I would definitely recommend her if you are needing your cat taking care of!”

About: We always had a family dog growing up. I currently have two rescue dogs of my own who are a major part of my life. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs. I will be available any time after 1pm on weekdays, and any time on weekends. I make sure my rescue pups are safe at all times. I regularly clean their bowls so that every drink and meal is fresh. I regularly take my dogs out for walks and to the P-A-R-K to socialize and play. If you have multiple dogs, I make sure each stroll is personalized to their needs.
“Sarah has become a regular in our lives! She is so great with my pup and takes such good care of her. I feel such a relief knowing Sarah spends time with our girl and I don’t have to worry about her while I’m gone. And Sarah always goes above and beyond if her schedule permits — to the point that I had her just hang out with our puppy for two hours for no other reason than to keep an eye on her because our pup had to wear a onesie. 😂”

About: I’ve been around dogs of all breeds since I was born. From pitbulls to chihuahuas, I have cared for all sizes! Dogs are not one size fits all; my approach is unique to meet each dog’s needs! I specialize in active dogs, long walks, runs, and needy dogs. 🏃🏻♂️🦮 I’m a teacher, so I am free throughout most of the summer! I have my own dog who requires love and attention, but most of the day I’m flexible and available to care for your pet!! I’m extremely patient and thoughtful about pets’ needs. If your pet needs extra coaxing, I will take the time to let them get comfortable without pressuring them. If your pet needs a more stern tone, I can also fit that need as well. Your pets’ care can be customized for their personality!! By default, I’m always respectful of animals’ space and I read their body language before approaching them in any type of way.

“Wendy is terrific. She sent pictures everyday, and even my most skittish kitty came out to say hi and get some love. We took the dogs this trip, but next time would be very comfortable relying on her to take care of the whole brood.😊😊 Very reliable and easy to communicate with. Went above and beyond. Will definitely ask her to help with my pets in the future!!”
“Alayna is fantastic! This is the first time using Alayna’s services and we found our cat sitter now! She’s very nice and friendly, trustworthy, responsible, and most importantly our cats loved her (and that says a lot since they’re very shy) and she was really caring with them! She sent us pictures/videos everyday and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, reptiles you name it. I am an animal lover through and through! I am very experienced in behavioral therapy so training puppies or just training in general is a breeze! I am very comfortable with reactive dogs and sensitive kitties as well. Working through triggers and building positive associations through reinforcement is my passion. My schedule is very flexible as a nanny, I have plenty of time to ensure pets are properly taken care of and most of all happy! I am happy to follow any instructions given and my biggest concern is that the pets under my care are not only safe, but happy and well cared for in all aspects.
“Lyndsey is the best, she’s so professional and goes out of her way to care for my senior dog. I don’t think I would have been able to travel without Lyndsey’s help, knowing that she’s caring for my Molly take some of my travel worries off my shoulders. Thanks!”

“Katelyn took great care of my cat while I was away. She was gentle, attentive, and clearly treated my cat with kindness and respect. I felt confident leaving my pet with her and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommend”

“She was recommended to us by our previous pet sitter who moved away, and we couldn’t be happier. She was able to accommodate a same-day drop-in when we were in a pinch. She did everything we asked and went above and beyond, and she sent lots of lovely pictures! We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

About: My experience includes dog walking, overnight pet sitting, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I also have experience following detailed care instructions for bearded dragons and other reptiles, including feeding, habitat care, and handling routines. As a pet owner myself with both a dog and a lizard, I understand how important it is to give pets patience, attention, and proper care. I’m reliable, responsible, and able to carefully follow any instructions to make sure every pet gets the best care possible. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because I’m graduating soon and will have a very open and flexible availability. Since I’ll have extra free time, I’m able to be dependable, responsive, and give pets lots of attention and care throughout the day. As a reptile owner, I understand how important strict care is for animals like bearded dragons, including feeding, lighting, and habitat care. I also regularly walk and care for my own dog, and spending so much time with him has definitely made me his favorite person in the house.
“Alicia is a life saver!! Took great care of our pups while we were out of town. As a business owner it can be hard to plan trips super in advance but Alicia has came through each time to help us out and has been flexible with us! 100% recommend!! :)”

I had a great experience booking Skylar to take care my cats while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about their well-being. I came home to happy, well cared for pets with everything clean and just as I left it! I'd absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone needing dependable pet care! Will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

Alexandra was fantastic! She communicated clearly throughout and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my pet, Mae, in her care. She’s friendly, professional, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood exactly how to care for Mae. I really appreciated her attention to detail and would absolutely book with her again!

Stephanie did a great job caring for my very needy senior cat! I am always nervous when traveling and leaving him alone for extended periods of time. However, I felt relaxed and less anxious with Stephanie watching him. She sent lots of pictures and left me a message daily to let me know how he was doing! Will definitely be utilizing her in the future for drop ins!

Jaritza, I cannot thank you enough for taking care of our 2 cats! You were patient with Gloria, who didnt initially come out for 2 days, but she then felt at home with you. We are thankful to have found someone that cares so much about our cats as much as we do. Thank you for maintaining communication and for treating our babies like your own!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
