“Larrielle was amazing with Remi! She is consistent and always on time. Not just someone that walks your dog but looks to actually build a relationship with your pup. She handles with care and love. She is also understanding - I got a bit busy and wasn’t able to let her in the house for a few. She sat patiently and sent a gentle reminder that she was there. So kind! I would 10 out of 10 recommend to everyone and we will absolutely only be working with her going forward with Remi. Thank you so much Larrielle!”

About: I have cared for pups big and small, young (8 weeks) and old (13 years), sassy and chill! I love them all, and so far - they all love me too! I am also a photographer, so what better than receiving stunning photos of your babies while you are away! Self proclaimed belly rub expert! With two school aged children - week days between 9:30am-3pm are the best for my schedule at the moment. Available most weekends! I like to spend a fair amount of time with my clients because I believe social interaction and comfort is so important! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, so creating a safe and comforting environment comes naturally to me. I make sure my furry friends always have fresh food and water, clean spaces, and plenty of attention while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. Some pets love immediate cuddles, while others need time to feel comfortable, and I’m happy to meet them where they are!!
“Meagan has been amazing with my 2 dogs! One of them tends to be overprotective of her home, and she quickly learned to trust and like Meagan! She takes the time to make sure your pet is comfortable with the situation, and always goes above and beyond to take care of your babies exceptionally while you're away. Thank you so much for allowing us to relax on our trips, Meagan!”

“Liz is the best! This is our 2nd time booking with her and we hope to not have to use any other pet care provider for our fur baby. Liz goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is safe and well cared for; even fixing our door when the lock stopped working while we were out of town. We so appreciate her! Thank you again, Liz!!”

“Kelli was awesome with the dogs. She visited them twice and gave them long walks and a little jog. She also gave us updates of her visit and how the dogs were doing. We will definitely use Kelli again and we highly recommend her!”

“When our Jed met Jaritza, it was love at first sight. Our Jeddy knew she was there to take good care of him as she did. I felt very comfortable since the day they met and she did a great job making sure he had his play time and a long walk. She went above and beyond by agreeing on my daughter’s request of putting some milk and cookies for Santa 🎅 on Christmas Day 🎄. Thank you Jaritza for your kindness.”

“Always a pleasure working with Arianna! It is her 2nd time caring for our Bear and he is always super happy while in her care. She leaves a thorough report card, asks questions, and sends photos. ☺️”

“Tiffany was great with our senior pup and our cat. It was our first time using rover so naturally we were very nervous. Tiffany was very responsive and instilled confidence in us which made the process so easy and convenient. I would 100% recommend her to anyone of my friends or anyone on here that needs someone to check on their fur babies while they’re gone!”

About: I have 5 years experience in the animal field professionally. I have recently established my own business as an animal care taker part time as I still work in the field full time with animal welfare. I have learned animal behavior and signs, I have learned patience and understanding, how to build a bond, and so much more. I am currently working 4 days a week. I have three days a week I can fit your pet care needs into schedule. I can also possibly schedule times around my job the other 4 days as I work a swing shift. I have two separate fences on my property and a secured dog room that leads to the year fencing area with AC, dog bed, access in and out, fan, access to water at all times inside with an automatic water bowl outside. I have a friendly, Neutered male Golden Retriever to keep them company if preferred, or there is plenty of space to keep them separate. None smoking and no small children. For your home visits, I would respect your space and rules as well as accommodate all your needs and request a n your home.

About: Hi, my name is Deanna I have loved dogs ever since I was little, I have 2 dogs, I’m available every day 24/7. I love all types of dogs small to big and any breed! If boarding a dog your dog has to get along with other dogs unless your comfortable with me keeping them separate from my dogs. Thankyou and feel free to contact me. I’m a stay at home mom that’s home 24/7 so I have plenty of play time with your pups and we will go on morning walks. I have a fenced in yard, two friendly dogs. I can easily crate the dogs or keep them separate if needed. Any specific requests just let me know.

“Kat is great! She was so flexible in setting up a meet and greet with our dog Loki for the first time. She was so sweet and Loki took to her right away. She is very quick to respond to questions I may have and is great at communicating regarding her time with our pup. This week was the first week we used Rover and I am so glad Kat was who we ended up finding for Loki, we will definitely be continuing to utilize her. She sends lots of pictures, videos, and gives very detailed explanations regarding her drop in visit. Loki loves her and that is what is most important to us as dog parents! I highly recommend Elizabeth for your pet care needs ?”
About: My names Tyler, I've always had a passion for animals growing up ( exotic and domestic). I've always enjoyed being around our furry friends and have worked in a petstore where customers would ask for me by name. My home is a fairly good size with lots of room to run and play. Dogs are fed on a schedule of 2 times a day(morning and evening) with treats in between(feeding schedule can be altered if needed) and of course walks and cuddle time! I work in healthcare as a CNA so my schedule is pretty wide open. I work night shift on the 3 nights that I do work and the days that I’m off my availability is pretty open. I prefer not to do any boarding if I can help that but would be more than happy to come and check in on your furry friends for a few hours!

About: i have always had a family animal, and i ended up being the one to care for it. i had kittens, cats, puppies, dogs, and bearded dragons, one time even a snake! All of which received amazing care up until they passed. Im currently working part-time about 32 hours on average a week. On days that i work i would come before im scheduled, on my hour lunch, and also when i get off work. Ive had to work with animal sitting around my work schedule before and will have no problem doing it for your animals as well. I am very observant and will make sure that absolutely nothing happens to your animals. And that they are cared for to my fullest extent.
About: I believe our animals are part of our family and should be treated as such. I have worked in several boarding and daycare facilities for cats and dogs I'm available early Sunday mornings earliest 9 30 to 10 am Mon Tues Wed after 12 noon and later evenings as well for Mon through Wed I do my very best to adhere to the feeding and walk schedule that a client has for their animals. I find it very important
About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits and more since I was a baby. I have raised my 11 year old cat since she was a week old, and my 6 year old dog since he was 6 months. I know how to take care of very young up to senior animals and I can help support training. I work the week M-F, so I am able to take on the weekends (F-M) so you can take your much needed vacation or detox! I have a very flexible schedule where I am able to take off for longer pet care situations. I am very organized: I use planners, reminders, alarms and more to keep myself up to date and on time. I run on a good schedule and efficient work, and it only gets better when I’m working to take care of an animal. I can help support training, young and older animals and more.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Richland. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
