“Tiffany was great with our senior pup and our cat. It was our first time using rover so naturally we were very nervous. Tiffany was very responsive and instilled confidence in us which made the process so easy and convenient. I would 100% recommend her to anyone of my friends or anyone on here that needs someone to check on their fur babies while they’re gone!”

“Jaritza was wonderful— she not only arrived early, but also provided updates throughout my puppy’s drop-in visit. Jaritza effectively communicated with me and ensured to keep me up to date with his activity. With this being our puppy’s first drop-in visit, she most definitely put our minds at ease.”

“Larrielle is excellent! She kept us updated the entire time we were away, letting us know how our fur baby was doing and sending plenty of photos that helped us feel connected. She is dependable, friendly, and clearly cares about the pets she looks after. Our pup was well taken care of and happy when we returned. I would definitely recommend Larrielle to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.”

“Mindi and Scott were wonderful with my crew. We came home to relaxed and well taken care of babies. We have 1 anxious pit bull and 4 unique cats that had never been left before. All are happy and healthy. Even fed our senior cat with a spoon. They even took care of the feral cats that we feed. I loved the updates and pictures. We will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.”

About: I have cared for pups big and small, young (8 weeks) and old (13 years), sassy and chill! I love them all, and so far - they all love me too! I am also a photographer, so what better than receiving stunning photos of your babies while you are away! Self proclaimed belly rub expert! With two school aged children - week days between 9:30am-3pm are the best for my schedule at the moment. Available most weekends! I like to spend a fair amount of time with my clients because I believe social interaction and comfort is so important! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, so creating a safe and comforting environment comes naturally to me. I make sure my furry friends always have fresh food and water, clean spaces, and plenty of attention while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. Some pets love immediate cuddles, while others need time to feel comfortable, and I’m happy to meet them where they are!!
“Arianna took care of my 2 dogs, 3 cats and my bunny. She is so kind to our animals. Updated us with lots of very cute and very funny pictures. Her notes were detailed and the animals were taken care of just as if I was home. I will definitely like her to watch my animals while I’m away again. I was extremely nervous to leave my animals in care of another person. They are my children. She was very patient and reassured me that she will take upmost care and she did! I cannot thank you enough Arianna!”

“Megan is wonderful. Had her watch our 3 kitties when we were out of town for our wedding. Felt very safe leaving them with her and came home to three healthy, happy, kitties!”

“Such a great cat sitter. Kelli provided lots of communication and updates on my cats while I was away giving me such peace of mind. She was timely and considerate. I definitely will use her again in the future!”

“Blaise did an amazing job with my cat!! Was on time, communicated super well, and put me at ease for the holidays! Would highly recommend and book again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years, and I’m known for being patient, dependable, and great with animals of all ages. I offer drop‑in visits and walks, making sure pets get the exercise, attention, and care they need while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or a good walk to burn energy, I treat every pet like family and keep you updated every step of the way. I work a full-time job, but I make sure I can dedicate time to pet care every day. My routine allows me to provide regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and attention before and after work. On weekends and days off, I have additional time available for longer walks and any extra care my pet may need. I understand the commitment involved and am confident I can consistently meet a pet’s needs. I provide care for pets in my clients’ homes during scheduled visits. During each visit, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean up after them as needed, provide exercise and playtime, administer any approved medications, and give them plenty of attention and companionship. I also monitor their overall well-being and notify the owner of any concerns. In addition to caring for the pets, I help maintain their routine and can perform light pet-related tasks such as cleaning food bowls, litter boxes, or pet areas to ensure they remain comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have 5 years experience in the animal field professionally. I have recently established my own business as an animal care taker part time as I still work in the field full time with animal welfare. I have three days a week I can fit your pet care needs into schedule. I can also possibly schedule times around my job the other 4 days as I work a swing shift. I have two separate fences on my property and a secured dog room that leads to the year fencing area with AC, dog bed, access in and out, fan, access to water at all times inside with an automatic water bowl outside. I have a friendly, Neutered male Golden Retriever to keep them company if preferred, or there is plenty of space to keep them separate. None smoking and no small children. Jake was awesome with my 3 cats and even came for a meet and greet beforehand. He was super communicative each day and was comfortable administering an inhaler to one of my cats which was really helpful. He even put my robot vacuum back when he saw it got stuck. Definitely felt comfortable leaving my cats with Jake for a week and will absolutely be rebooking next time we go out of town!

Liza did an absolutely fantastic job looking after our kitty cats while we were away! She is a great communicator, very responsible, let you know everything is going on and when she’s planning to go by, and was very loving to our felines! Even sent lots of pictures so we didn’t miss them too much! Will DEFINITELY look to work with her again! Thanks Liza!!

Amy was absolutely amazing and helped us feel better while away on our trip knowing our cat Bean was so well taken care of! She was so attentive and gave us great updates and pictures of Bean. I would recommend her to anyone needing a trusted person to take care of their pets while away!

Maria is absolutely the best sitter! She always takes extra great care of our babes. We never worry about them getting the love and attention they need. Very detailed communication and the best pictures. She always goes the extra mile. Thank you so much, Maria!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Zephyrhills West. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
