“Liz is the best! This is our 2nd time booking with her and we hope to not have to use any other pet care provider for our fur baby. Liz goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is safe and well cared for; even fixing our door when the lock stopped working while we were out of town. We so appreciate her! Thank you again, Liz!!”

“When our Jed met Jaritza, it was love at first sight. Our Jeddy knew she was there to take good care of him as she did. I felt very comfortable since the day they met and she did a great job making sure he had his play time and a long walk. She went above and beyond by agreeing on my daughter’s request of putting some milk and cookies for Santa 🎅 on Christmas Day 🎄. Thank you Jaritza for your kindness.”

“She was recommended to us by our previous pet sitter who moved away, and we couldn’t be happier. She was able to accommodate a same-day drop-in when we were in a pinch. She did everything we asked and went above and beyond, and she sent lots of lovely pictures! We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“I would give Doris a 7 STAR rating! We had a vacation planned and a family member who normally watched our wonderful fur babies, experienced a personal emergency and was not able to dog sit for us. Last minute we turned to Rover. We had never utilized Rover before, being a little apprehensive...of course we all love our dogs as family!!! We reviewed Doris P. profile, seeing she was in close proximity to our house. With less than a week notice (until our vacation) Doris responded immediately letting us know she was available. Wow, is all I can say! She was GREAT with them both!!! Doris sent many pics of them smiling and the largest baby playing catch with a ball, it was quite obvious they loved her too! We greatly appreciated her being willing to come with such a short notice...she literally saved our vacation!!! Much Thanks Doris!!”

“I feel so lucky to have found Brittany to check in on our cat, Wilson, while we were away! Great communication with lots of pictures and videos. Wilson was well loved and the house was tidy when we returned. Highly recommend Brittany for your pet sitting needs!”

About: What sets me apart is the amount of time and attention I can give each pet. Since I work from home, pets in my care receive frequent potty breaks, companionship, supervision, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I take the time to follow owners' instructions carefully, so pets feel safe, comfortable, and love while they're away. I pride myself on being reliable communicative and treating every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with my own pets, from their puppy stage until their current senior years. In addition, I have administered daily oral, intravenous, and eye medications to my pets. I currently work from home, so your pets can sit with me all day. They will have consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, regular walks, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally around my workday without interfering with my job and will rarely be left alone. Pets will receive attention, exercise and care from morning through bedtime. I have a fenced yard, an older male Shih Tzu, and a young male Tuxedo cat. I am reliable and will communicate with pet parents as requested. Frequent updates and photos will be provided. I have experience with my own pets with giving medications, recognizing signs of illness, and reading pet body language.
“Kelli was awesome with the dogs. She visited them twice and gave them long walks and a little jog. She also gave us updates of her visit and how the dogs were doing. We will definitely use Kelli again and we highly recommend her!”

I like to spend a fair amount of time with my clients because I believe social interaction and comfort is so important! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, so creating a safe and comforting environment comes naturally to me. “Meagan has been amazing with my 2 dogs! One of them tends to be overprotective of her home, and she quickly learned to trust and like Meagan! She takes the time to make sure your pet is comfortable with the situation, and always goes above and beyond to take care of your babies exceptionally while you're away. Thank you so much for allowing us to relax on our trips, Meagan!”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life and I love all creatures big and small. I think it’s really important to be sure your animals quality of life is really great. They have fewer years on this earth than we do and they are so amazing to us- we really don’t deserve them! I want my pets to feel loved and relaxed and like each day is different and special. I work from home so I’m very flexible. I’m a small business owner so it’s easy to work my schedule around dog walking or popping over to check in on your cat. I’m happy to provide care in your home. I can’t provide care in my own home because I have a cat and dog and a young baby. I want your pet to feel like a friend is visiting them.

Carol was amazing! I had to leave my cat for two weeks, and with all the updates and pictures I got every day from Carol, I never felt worried about him. In fact, it looked like he was enjoying himself. Carol not only took excellent care of Bananas but she was very clean and neat. When I came home, it was as if she hadn't been there because the kitchen was exactly as I left it. The litter box area was very tidy as well. She completely blew me away and totally exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely be hiring her again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dade City North. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
