About: What sets me apart from other sitter is I always treat the animals I care for as if they were my own ! I’ve had two dogs - Black Mouth Cur and a Labradoodle - and I currently have 3 cats🥰 I love to volunteer at the Humane Society where I have gained even more knowledge about animals and able to spend extra time caring for them and accommodate their needs. All dogs/cats have their own personalities which makes it even more fun ! My goals is to be at help in any way I can while giving animals families less stress knowing their fur babies are safe and cared for ! I am currently working part- time at a restaurant and soon back into school full time as a Psychology major ! I am able to be at help early morning before 10a.m and late afternoons till night-time. Clients home : Follow all expectations needed to ensure fur babies feel as comfortable and maintained in their routine as best as possible. Make sure pets get fresh walks , playtime , and plenty of attention and love. If any pets have special medications or need specific instructions I am 100% able to accommodate them.

“Wendy has been an absolute lifesaver for our family!! I contacted her last minute because we had a death in the family and had to be out of state for a funeral and she didn’t hesitate to help!! She treated our kitty like he was her own ❤️ was in constant contact with me and went above and beyond anything I was expecting! I am so grateful for her! I will definitely book Wendy again very soon!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and I’m super comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I’ve watched playful puppies, easygoing adults, and sweet senior pets who just need a little extra care. I can stick to feeding routines, give potty breaks as often as needed, go on walks, play, and of course give them plenty of love and attention. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own while you’re away! ❤️ I have open availability, so I’m able to make caring for pets a priority throughout my day. I enjoy structuring my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well‑cared for every single day. I like to care for pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine; with a lot of love, patience, and attention. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your routine as closely as possible, like feeding times, walks, and any little habits your pet is used to. I keep their space clean, give them plenty of playtime and cuddles, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
“Fantastic as usually, Holly loves my doggo like it’s her own. Super sweet and sends me lots and pics and videos to let me know how’s she’s doing, would never use anyone else!! She’s a gem!”
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, including cats, small dogs, goldfish, and cockatiels. Today, I’m a proud cat mom to two adopted sibling cats who are playful, sensitive, and full of personality. Because I live with cats daily, I understand routines, boundaries, enrichment, and the patience needed for shy or anxious kitties. Friends and family have relied on me for years to feed, clean, play, and safely care for their pets, and I bring that same level of attention to every visit. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for drop-in visits and cat care throughout the week. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and weekends, and I always plan my schedule around your cat’s routine to make sure their feeding, litter, and play schedules stay consistent. Your cat’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I take time to understand each cat’s personality, boundaries, and hiding spots so I can care for them without stress. I keep feeding areas tidy, litter boxes clean, and always ensure doors and windows are secured before leaving. I follow instructions closely, communicate clearly, and treat your home with respect. Your pet will be cared for the same way I care for my own two cats — with patience, gentleness, and attention to detail.

Sara is such an amazing pet sitter! She took care of our 2 cats and I am so glad we found her. One of our cats got a recent asthma diagnosis and she was so patient giving him his inhaler. They got plenty of play time, love and we got a bunch of cute photos too! She is very responsive, and gives very detailed updates every visit too. We were honestly so nervous to get a pet sitter, but having Sara taking care of our babies gave us so much peace of mind from the start. I would 100% recommend her!!

Lyndsey was so amazing! She put my heart at ease for the care, compassion and communication she showed me and my cats. She is very dependable and keeps you up to date on how your pet is doing. There is no doubt that I would book her again! Thank you so much!! 💛

Andrea is the cat whisperer! My cats, one of which is extremely shy, warmed up to her immediately. Cats have a sense of who they can trust. Andrea was reliable, followed everything that was asked, and sent updates. I always get nervous leaving my pets home by themselves when I'm away, but I felt at ease with Andrea checking on them. Will definitely be contacting her again!
Anne truly cares for my cats…she even will stop by extra (with permission) to make sure they are not lonely. She is able to give medicine and my cats still run up to greet her when they hear the key in the door. So grateful for her to be part of our extended family.

Elisha is truly amazing. She goes above and beyond and can handle even a difficult kitty cat with ease. She is thoughtful and has great communication skills. Very trustworthy and always on time and consistent. I could relax while away knowing my kitties were in great hands. A++++

Brandy provided exceptional care for my two 16 year old cats. One of the cats was not eating much and losing weight before I had to leave town for a family matter. Brandy took the time to try different foods for him and even sat with him to ensure that he was eating and the other cat wasn’t eating his food. Brandy also paid great attention to whether my male cat was using the litter box and let me know her concerns. Brandy is reliable, kind, courteous and on top of her game. She truly is compassionate with each pet she is caring for and provides the best of care always. Thank you Brandy!

Maria took care of Chico and Cali twice a day while I was on vacation for a week, and as always, she did an amazing job. She’s incredibly reliable, friendly, and thoughtful—sending great photos at each visit and making sure the pets were well cared for. It’s always a pleasure having her watch them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
