“We had a wonderful experience with Adrianna! She took excellent care of Jackson and Honor and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates and photos, which made it so reassuring to know our pets were happy and well cared for. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly treated Jackson and Honor like her own. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Adrianna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Tyson was excellent with our elderly pup. She was so happy every time he came by as shown in the many pictures he sent. He made our first time away very comfortable. He was always on time and spent 30-40 minutes with her each visit.”

“Yaritza took great care of our dog! He’s very nervous when meeting new people but he instantly loved her! She always sent us photos of him and updated us on how he was doing. She even sent some photos of our cats! We will definitely be using her services in the future!”

About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands-on animal experience, responsibility, and genuine love for pets. I have 10+ years of experience caring for animals and currently have a 4-year-old dog and two cats, including a senior cat. I’ve also rescued pets of my own, fostered cats, participated in TNR (trap, neuter, release), and volunteered with animal shelters. I also have experience with puppies, as I adopted my dog when she was just a two-month-old rescue. That experience gave me firsthand understanding of puppy care, including training, socialization, establishing routines, managing high energy, and supporting them through early developmental stages. My professional background has also given me experience in environments where safety, attentiveness, and responsibility are essential. I spent two years working at Two Shepherds Taproom, a dog park and taproom, where I was regularly around dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Before transitioning careers, I also spent over six years as an elementary school teacher for Pasco County, where I was trusted with the safety, care, and well-being of 22–28 children every day. These experiences taught me patience, attentiveness, organization, communication, and how to stay calm when unexpected situations arise. I’m also a licensed real estate professional and understand the level of trust involved when someone allows you into their home. When I’ve pet sat or completed drop-in visits in the past, I’ve always made communication with pet parents a priority. I send updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel connected to them while you’re away. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important that reassurance is, especially when you’re traveling or away from a pet who truly is part of your family. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with the same patience, attention, affection, and care that I would want someone to give my own. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and needs time to warm up, or a senior who prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to meet them where they are and help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine! As a dog and cat owner myself, my days naturally include walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and plenty of attention. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care and provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, walks, medications, and any special care instructions, so they can feel comfortable and secure while their family is away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible while their family is away. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, enrichment, and any other individual needs their pet may have. For drop in visits, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention in addition to their basic care. Depending on their needs, that might include a walk, backyard playtime, enrichment, cuddles, refreshing food and water, cleaning litter boxes, or simply spending time with them so they have companionship during the day. For house sitting, I treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show my own. I’m happy to maintain established routines, provide regular updates and photos, and pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or anything else that may seem unusual. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own environment while you’re away.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for my two cats, Paedyn and Ella, who have taught me that every pet has their own unique personality and needs! Paedyn is my energetic, talkative 2-year-old, while Ella is my 1-year-old calico and a total cuddle bug. I make sure my cats are fed morning and night, have fresh water, receive their daily vitamins, and get plenty of playtime, attention, and love. I also grew up around dogs, including a Shih Tzu and a Yorkiepoo, and my dad currently has a Pit Bull who is the sweetest girl. I also had a roommate who had a Shiba Inu that I would help care for from time to time, who was such an energetic love bug. Growing up with dogs and now caring for my own cats has given me experience with different personalities, sizes, and care needs. I understand how important routines, safety, patience, and lots of love are when caring for someone’s pet! 🐾💕 I have a flexible schedule with my work at OneBlood, which allows me to fit pet visits and dog walks into my day. I’m happy to work around my schedule to make sure your pets get the care, attention, and exercise they need. I’ll always communicate my availability clearly and make sure I can commit to the visits I book. I’m very attentive to my pets and make sure they have everything they need to stay happy and healthy. I give my cats their daily vitamins, including respiratory vitamins for my older cat, Paedyn. I make sure they’re fed every morning and night, always have fresh water in their fountain, and are kept safely indoors rather than free-roaming outside. I would care for a client’s pets and home with the same level of attention and responsibility. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m happy to follow their feeding schedule, medications or vitamins, playtime, and any other instructions. I’ll also treat each client’s home with respect and make sure everything is left clean, safe, and secure.
“Elizabeth was so great with my cat!! She was very communicative and took wonderful care of my cat. This was my second time booking Elizabeth and I would definitely do it again”

“Tahrena was Awesome! We will definitely have her take care of our animals and house every time we go out of town! Her and her family are great and put us at ease on our vacation!!!”
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and I’m super comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I’ve watched playful puppies, easygoing adults, and sweet senior pets who just need a little extra care. I can stick to feeding routines, give potty breaks as often as needed, go on walks, play, and of course give them plenty of love and attention. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own while you’re away! ❤️ I have open availability, so I’m able to make caring for pets a priority throughout my day. I enjoy structuring my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well‑cared for every single day. I like to care for pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine; with a lot of love, patience, and attention. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your routine as closely as possible, like feeding times, walks, and any little habits your pet is used to. I keep their space clean, give them plenty of playtime and cuddles, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
“I was a bit nervous about finding a new dog sitter for my chihuahua, Bitty B, as she can be a bit protective. However, my worries were completely put to ease after meeting Kelsey. Kelsey was incredibly patient and understanding as she took the time to get to know Bitty B. Even though it took a little while for Bitty B to warm up, Kelsey's friendly demeanor and gentle approach made all the difference. By the end of our visit, Bitty B was happily wagging her tail and seemed to be enjoying Kelsey's company. It was clear that Kelsey is truly passionate about animals. She listened attentively to our needs, asked thoughtful questions, and made us feel like our dog was going to be in great hands. I couldn't be happier with our experience and am already looking forward to working with Kelsey again in the future.”

“I was really worried about leaving my elderly pet behind while I had to travel for work but Karma reassured me that he would be well taken care of. She kept me updated every check in (with pictures) and did a fantastic job keeping him healthy and happy. I’m so grateful and would not hesitate to book with her again!”

“Jessica has done a fabulous job taking care of our new puppy. Always on time, sends the cutest photos and has been very accommodating with her schedule. Highly recommend!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jaritza was absolutely AMAZING with Bentley while I was on vacation. She took incredible care of him, kept me updated, and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well loved the entire time. We came home to a relaxed pup and a house that was in great shape, which says everything. It’s clear she genuinely cares and takes her responsibilities seriously. Trustworthy, kind, and reliable — I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Highly recommend Jaritza to anyone looking for someone you can fully trust with your pet and your home!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Land O' Lakes
Lisa spoiled the puppies! The animals had a great week staying home with Lisa's visits. The dogs especially enjoyed the walks and the play time. The daily photos of the dogs and occasional snapshots of the illusive cats were great to have while I was on holiday. We will not hesitate to call Lisa again for our next trip.

Juliana provided wonderful care to my three fur babies while I traveled out of town. Within minutes, all pets felt comfortable enough to seek attention and stand next to her. I received pictures and communication throughout the entire booking. I highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
