“Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away. We got regular updates throughout his stay and would absolutely book with Tahrena again. Nothing beats having a go-to sitter you know you can depend on! Thank you again Tahrena (and family)!!”

“Lisa is a great pet sitter - easy to communicate with, obviously loves dogs, very flexible and responsive. I had to make last minute plans for Sugar and Lisa worked with me and my uncertain schedule. She sent pics of Sugar each time she visited that showed what a good time he was having. Lisa was able to take Sugar on nice long walks which he really loved. I would not hesitate to request her again. I have found the Rover app not to be that user friendly - maybe they are still working out the bugs. There are differences between the app and the online account interface. It is not as easy to navigate as it should be. This problem with the app/website is no reflection of the professional and loving service provided by Lisa.”

I have dealt with dogs since 2018 and the treatment I give to anyone else’s pet is the same that I expect when people watch over mine. We love cuddling, watching tv, going on walks and dog parks. I work from home, so my schedule can be very flexible! I can also work from your home if you prefer keeping your pet where they feel the safest. I live in a townhouse, and have a very nice dog park nearby and lots of places to go on walks. Right now, I have a 1 year old mixed breed (lab/catahoula shepherd) named Roo, and she is the most loving dog I have ever had! I would love to help take care of your best friend when you need some in-town help! About: Our senior Beagle passed in October and our home feels different without a furry friend around! We can’t wait to show love and attention to your pup! We live on over an acre, with plenty of space to run and play, but with two littles in the house your pup will get ALL the attention he/she needs or as little as they need. About: I’ve spent my entire life caring with animals and I’ve also volunteered at a couple of pet places. I have experience with very loud and messy dogs and can pretty much clean any mess. Im available pretty much every day and on holidays so depending on what comes up I will take the pet with me if I can depending on the circumstances and if the owner gives permission. About: our family is dog crazy, we will give your pup/s lots of attention. Our HOA does not allow pit bulls, sorry. We have always let our pet visitors roam the house as they please but if you are into cage / crate training we can easily support that as well. Our daughters (18, 16 and 6) will give your pup/s lots of love and plenty of energy expenditure. Hope your dog loves barking at birds and squirrels because we see lots of them all day! We have a large screened in lanai and spend most of the day outdoors. We can administer medicine if needed and have boarded dozens of dogs through the rover.com web site. When your pup/s stays they will be sure to have wonderful time for we provide clean cold filtered water, lots of walks and playtime, and a safe and comfortable home and community. I have taken care of family and friends pets for years, dogs, cats, birds, lizards and other small animals. I’ve taken dogs into my home, and done drop ins for both dogs and cats. I love taking walks with dogs, playing and snuggling up! I am a teacher, so my schedule is very open in the summer! During the school year, I start my day taking care of my pup and bearded dragon (feeding, walking etc) and enjoy afternoon walks as well! For drop-ins visits, I would arrange with my client the best schedule/time for their animals. I know how to use coded doors and alarms and if necessary. I can clean cages and sweep cat litter/etc during my visits as well if needed.
About: Hi, my name is Ashlee. I've been dog sitting for many years now. I love it so much, because it is just so much fun! My daughter and I get to play with so many different dogs! I currently have 4 cats in the house, but they usually stay out of sight when doggies are around. My daughter is in high school, and she is a big animal lover. I do have a full-time job, and WFH on everyday except Wednesdays. On Wednesdays I would be required to go into the office and therefore be away from my home for around 8-9 hours; however there is some flexibility with my employer. You're welcome to contact me for a meet and greet to see my home and yard to make sure you’re comfortable leaving your dog with me! It's always good to bring your own pet bed, crate, favorite toy, etc. Dogs are always more comfortable have something to remind them of home. If you don’t have a designated bed, they are welcome to sleep wherever they want in my home. If I do get the chance to care for your pet, feel comfortable knowing that they are treated like part of our family and not in a dog boarding environment! As a pet sitter, I spend all my free time with the animals in my house. Every morning the dogs and cats get fed before I even get my coffee. 🙂 I always make sure my house is tidy and I always keep an eye on the dogs when I let them outside in the backyard. Keeping the pets safe and healthy and HAPPY are my top priorities.

“Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away.
