My schedule is fairly flexible given I work from home! I am open to drop-ins/walks at any time during the day, even before work if needed! I will work with you to make sure your pet(s) maintain their usual schedule/routine.

If your dog needs oral medications, I am comfortable assuring they swallowed the pill. If your cat or dog gets cheese sprinkled over their food or you pretend to cook the food in the oven to help them eat, I will follow your routine/tricks without hesitation. If you want to enjoy your vacation without interruptions or will be somewhere without phone service, I will provide a detailed summary at the end of the booking with amazing photos.

Do they need put in a crate or can they stay free in the house if I need to leave for a short time? Are they good at escaping? Do they take medication and if so how much & how often? Do they have any illness or ailments? What do they eat, when & how much? Are they allergic to anything? What times are their normal potty brakes if you do not have a yard? Where is their collar & leash? How often do they exercise and for how long? Do they have a favorite toy? What is their favorite game to play? Do you have a gate or door code?
A typical day
Lots of petting/attention to your pets, sitting outside, fetch, walks, whatever will keep them distracted from missing you (because you know they will!). I love taking pictures of animals so expect many photos in the frequent updates, if desired.

I am open to caring for cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, fish, ferrets, turtles, and especially livestock!** *I am open to virtual or in-person meet & greets to meet you and your pets* My name is Helena and I graduated from, and currently work for, the University of South Florida. I’ve grown up around animals and even raised and cared for cows in middle and high school through a club called FFA. I have one dog, but also help care for my mom's dog and two cats, whom I love dearly. I’ve interacted and cared for many different dogs, from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs and I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! Please feel free to let me know about any specific needs your animals may need and do not hesitate to contact me during our walk, drop-in, or sitting. I am a huge animal lover who quickly earns their trust. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and cows! I am honest, respectable, loyal and able to adapt to your households way of living. I will treat your pets and your home with the highest respect and promise to give you & your pet/pets the personal experience you deserve. I will leave your home clean and animals happy/well cared for with lots of love and attention. I have volunteered with numerous rescues and by doing so I've learned to help animals with all types of problems such as separation issues, food aggressions, behavior problems towards people & animals, high anxiety and more. I also love taking pictures of animals and will always provide pictures and updates throughout the booking.

Helena is our go-to for every trip, every time! She is so thorough and truly treats your pets as her own, and is so funny! We get so anxious when we're away from our two kitties and Helena always sends us so many photos that ease our minds. If you have particular or quirky cats, look no further for someone to keep them happy!
I had a terrible vacation but my pets were taken care of! I was reassured knowing my kitties were being taken care of with amazing and sincere care. Helena went above and beyond. As pet owners we worry when our pets are alone or lonely. My kitties got so much loving care I didn’t have to worry the entire time I was gone. Not to mention her attention to detail for their home and essential needs. So grateful for Helena’s amazing care. She is very special.
Helena won my very skeptical cat over on her first visits with him! I felt like he was in great hands while I was away and enjoyed the updates I got from her too. I would definitely book Helena next time I need a sitter for Hank!
