“Sarah is truly exceptional with Ares! She not only arrives on time, but is also very flexible — we really appreciated that she even arrives earlier upon last-minute requests. She immediately jumps into caring for him by taking him on multiple walks, heading to the dog park first thing, practicing his commands, and following his schedule promptly. She keeps me informed throughout the day with important updates, photos, and videos of our puppy. 10/10 recommend Sarah!🩵🐾”

“Wonderful service! ❤️ Jayla was super sweet and our dog Knox loved her! Thankful for all her help and I recommend her to anyone needing help with their pets. We will definitely use again for future visits. Thank you so much! 😊”

“Elisha was an amazing! I have a finicky dog and she worked patiently with him to make him happy. 😊 (which made us so happy while we were away!) I received several pictures and updates from her and came home to a perfectly clean home and happy dog and BONUS- there was a sweet thank you card from her and a Polaroid picture of my Gunny boy .”

“Ashley is truly amazing with Ares! She not only arrives on time, but immediately jumps into caring for him — taking him on multiple walks, heading to the dog park first in the morning, play time, and keeps up with his scheduled routine. She also sends me multiple videos and photos throughout the day with important updates. We absolutely love having her watch our puppy!🩵”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since my first week alive. All my doggies have been 80+ lbs. I’ve had a guinea pig, and a bearded dragon, two bully breeds, an American bulldog, and a blue nosed pit bull. I’ve also loved on, cats, smaller dogs, and even more big dogs courtesy of family and friends. I am drawn to all animals, and I find pure joy in spending my time with them! I have college on Mondays and Wednesdays, and a retail job in which my shifts are usually 3-6 hrs and I don’t work many days a week. I am very flexible and do whatever I can to fit in some food, potty, and play time! My client knows their pets, and their home the best, whatever instructions I am given are the instructions I will follow. The happiness and the safety of these babies are my number one priority.
“This was the fist time I’ve been away this long from my pets, and Laura took excellent care of them! She messaged me often and sent adorable photos of my dog, snuggling with her. Both my cat and dog often slept with her, which shows how much they trusted and enjoyed her company. The house was spotless when I returned. I highly recommend Laura for anyone looking for a caring, reliable and attentive pet sitter!”

“Blaise was great! She kept in contact with me and sent me multiple pictures. She followed all instructions for Athena’s care. We are so thankful that Athena was cared for by such a caring person. Athena absolutely loved Blaise!”

“Laura went way above and beyond my expectations! She went on numerous long walks with my dog Jane and I could tell they really connected. Laura is responsible and was super flexible with me as I had to extend my trip a few days. I will be using her again!”

About: I grew up in Maine on the lake with 7 dogs, my family was very pet welcoming and gave them all a great life. We had acres of land up there and I was always the one running around with them and going crazy on walks for the most part. Lots of adventures. And as time went on and my parents became busier, I was always helping out making sure they were fed, bathed if needed, walked, bathroom breaks, and medication etc. now I live in Florida and don’t get to see them very often. I just love animals! Haha I work from home in sales, so I have location and time freedom. So I can fix my insurance schedule around household and pet needs I grew up with dogs and love animals. Active, reliable, and attentive, I’ll keep your pet happy, plenty of exercise, safe, and well. They’re welcome to sleep on my bed / couch.
“Katelyn has been great with Ares, especially as she’s still getting to know him. She does a wonderful job keeping me informed on his behavior and is very communicative while navigating the challenges that come with the puppy stage. I truly appreciate her effort, patience, and willingness to work with him. Thank you for everything, Katelyn! 🩵”

“Landis was absolutely wonderful! He took great care of our pets and home while we were away. We’re incredibly grateful for him and look forward to booking him again in the future!”

“Victoria was wonderful with Ludo. She was quick to respond and had great communication throughout, along with sending a picture update. She followed his care instructions and asked questions to clarify his puppy routine. I would be happy to book with her again and I would recommend her to anyone seeking care for their pet.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for the last 14 years. Walking, feeding, and playing is a part of my daily routine. I have some experience with senior dogs who need pills, eye drops, or ear drops. I do work full time so most of my availability time will be in the early mornings, evenings or any time on Fridays and Saturdays. I will take care of your dog as if they were my own. Safety is key with our four legged friends so if they need to be crated or have specific instructions for walking, I will ensure they will be followed.
“This is our second time using Brian. He is amazing. He takes care of Sadie and Patches as if they were his own. He keeps us updated and sends amazing photos of them both. We have already booked him for a third stay. I highly recommend Brian. Definitely Sadie and Patches approved. 🐶🐈”

About: I have years of experience caring for pets. I am a trustworthy sitter who will absolutely make your pet feel safe and loved. My job as a sitter is to make you feel comfortable to relax and to know your fur babies are in good hands while you are away. I make it a point to send you several photos and a detailed synopsis of every visit. I am also willing to help care for your plants and take in mail/packages while you are away. My priority is to make sure that your pet is getting the care that they need while you are away. My schedule is tentative to change. Please message me about availability concerns and I will do my best to accommodate. Communication is super important to me, so if you have any concerns or requests please reach out to me! :) Animals tend to tell you what they need. For example, if they need to get their energy out they give you a toy. I am familiar with these signs and I am very attentive to them because I adore animals so much! Because I love them so much, I will always make sure they are safe and comfortable.

Jayla was super sweet and awesome!! She is super communicative sending lots of pictures and videos! It was great seeing how easily our dog warmed up to her with her loving nature and gentle personality- our dog became very comfortable with Jayla so quickly. She was great with him taking his medicines and was great with letting us know if anything came up and asking any questions! She also left our place spotless which was an added bonus! She’s perfect for those who have dog mom anxiety like myself. We highly reccomend Jayla 😊

Lyndsey has been such an incredible sitter for Ares and truly holds a special place in our hearts. She has been the most consistent, caring, and dependable person we’ve trusted with him since he was a puppy. She always keeps us updated with photos and detailed messages, makes sure he gets plenty of attention and exercise, and genuinely treats him like her own. Ares absolutely adores her, and we couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate to care for their pets. 🐾🩵

Sarah has been incredible with our puppy. She always goes out of her way to fit Ares into her schedule, even when she already has other visits booked, which we truly appreciate. She takes him on multiple walks, keeps me updated throughout the day, and makes sure he gets plenty of exercise. We absolutely trust her with him and are so grateful for the care and attention she provides. 🩵

Sandra was absolutely amazing while caring for my dog during my vacation. From the start, she was professional, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. My dog was well cared for, happy, and comfortable the entire time. You can tell Sandra genuinely loves what she does and treats every pet like her own. I came home to a relaxed, well-looked-after dog, which says everything. I highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable pet sitter. I will definitely be using her services again.

If you’re in need of a sitter that will go above and beyond for your pets, book Lauren!! It is clear that she is very passionate about animals and I couldn’t recommend her more!! She provided wonderful care to my baby Georgie girl, playing with her for extensive amounts of time and sent plenty of pics and vids! She even made sure the house was nice and fresh when I got back from my trip. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Harley was amazing with my dog Onyx! He followed all of my instructions, maintained great communication throughout the stay, and kept me updated, which really gave me peace of mind. Onyx absolutely loved him, and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in his care. I would definitely book with Harley again and highly recommend him.

My pets love Cole when he comes to visit and stay. I can tell that be treats them well because of how excited they are to see him each time. He is great at sending photo updates and letting us know of their silly behaviors. There was one day where Cole got held up at work and my dog was in her crate for about 8 hours (we try to only keep her in there for 4 hours at a time). Cole was apologetic when I asked about it. We also understand that things happen, as we are also Rover pet sitters ourselves.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Pebble Creek on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pebble Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pebble Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pebble Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
