“Brian was amazing. He was very communicative and reliable. He took great care of our dogs and our house. I truly cannot recommend Brian enough. He was the best dog Sitter we've ever had.”

“Kyle was great with our two pups while we were away for the weekend. He was able to stay over which is helpful because my one dog loves to have people to sleep nearby at night. My one dog too loves to play randomly and Kyle handled that so well! Kyle also communicated with us throughout the stay, which i really appreciated. He sent photos in the morning, noon and evening of them. I could tell by the photos thar both our dogs were comfortable with him right away. I will definitely be using Kyle again!”

“Katelyn has been great with Ares, especially as she’s still getting to know him. She does a wonderful job keeping me informed on his behavior and is very communicative while navigating the challenges that come with the puppy stage. I truly appreciate her effort, patience, and willingness to work with him. Thank you for everything, Katelyn! 🩵”

“Heather went absolutely above and beyond for us on our wedding day. Knowing that Woody was in such caring, attentive hands made the entire day so much easier and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. She treated him like her own, kept us updated, and made sure he was comfortable, happy, and well cared for throughout everything. We couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, reliable, and kind person to look after our pup on such an important day. We are so grateful for Heather and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who truly goes the extra mile!!”

“Alycia is AMAZING with our Georgia girl 🐶! She is one of the few I can trust with our fur baby. Alycia is reliable, caring, and keeps me updated with photos and messages while I am away. Georgia loves her dates with Alycia! She is happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for the entire time. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Georgia is in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend Alycia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!”

“Ashley is truly amazing with Ares! She not only arrives on time, but immediately jumps into caring for him — taking him on multiple walks, heading to the dog park first in the morning, play time, and keeps up with his scheduled routine. She also sends me multiple videos and photos throughout the day with important updates. We absolutely love having her watch our puppy!🩵”

“Wonderful service! ❤️ Jayla was super sweet and our dog Knox loved her! Thankful for all her help and I recommend her to anyone needing help with their pets. We will definitely use again for future visits. Thank you so much! 😊”

“Sarah was punctual, kept me informed with multiple updates, and meticulously maintained our puppy’s schedule. She kept me informed throughout the day by sending multiple photos of my puppy throughout the day. We have absolutely no complaints and are so grateful for the level of care and attention she provided. 🩵🐾”

“Tatiyana is who you want looking after your pets when you are away. I have a dog (Bella) with severe separation anxiety and a seizure disorder. Often, her seizures are triggered by the stress of separation from me. At the end of May my wife and I were in Hawaii for 8 days (the longest we have ever been away from Bella) and Tatiyana stayed with Bella in our home. During the stay, Bella's medications were given on time and her walk schedule was maintained as close as possible to her regular routine. Not only did Bella experience zero seizures, by the fourth or fifth day, Tatiyana had Bella playing with her at the local park. I cannot stress how grateful we are for Tatiyana's care of our Bella and our home. I HIGHLY recommend her as a sitter of choice for your pets. Thank you, Tatiyana, for allowing us to enjoy our vacation free from worry and concern for Bella while we were away!”

About: My family had both cats and dogs growing up! I love all animals and will love your fur babies just like my own. They are truly part of the family and should be treated as such. I am a server and only work evening’s. I have a pretty flexible schedule with a couple set days off and a few nights off a week. I have a dog myself and I always make sure my surroundings are animal proof. Nothing laying around that pets might get into by curiosity.

“highly recommend Jaedyn! We have been using her services for a while now, and she truly never disappoints. She is incredibly nice, trustworthy, and wonderful with Klaus. It brings me so much peace of mind knowing klaus is in such loving hands. Five stars”

About: Growing up, my family nicknamed me "Elly Mae" because I’ve always had a love for animals—From dogs and cats, to rats, rabbits and guinea pigs I’ve cared for just about every kind of creature you can imagine (domestic or slightly non)! As a mature, responsible caregiver, I come with a lifetime of hands-on experience, I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve provided daily care, socialization, and even medical support—including administering oral and topical medications, giving insulin shots, and helping special-needs pets stay comfortable and happy. Whether your pet has fur, feathers, or legs galore, they’ll be in loving, capable hands with me. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I’m flexible and strive to work with your pet’s routine to ensure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. I care for most pets in the comfort of their own homes, where they feel safest and most secure. I always respect each pet’s routine and space, and I take the time to build trust—especially with shy or anxious animals. I'm gentle, patient, and attentive to their individual needs, whether it's medication, playtime, or just quiet companionship. For small, caged pets or very small dogs, I may be able to offer care in my home under special circumstances, with a clean, safe, and cozy environment ready to welcome them.
About: I've cared for dogs & cats for 5 years through helping family, friends, neighbors, and my own pets. My experiencing includes feeding, providing fresh water, walking dogs, cleaning up after pets, and making sure pets feel safe while their owners are away. I understand the importance of reliable communication and will provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I'm available for walks & drop ins anytime, including evenings and weekends! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, provide plenty of attention, and ensure pets have fresh water and a safe environment.
“Jasmine was honestly such a blessing… I didn’t have to worry about my dogs at all and they were absolutely loved as if they were her own. I got constant updates and I felt very comfortable that I didn’t have to worry. She was super reliable and a pleasure I would definitely book again.”

“Annaliese and her son were great with my dogs. One of my dogs had shut down the last time I went out of town, so I was very worried that he would be ok with a new sitter. Annaliese sent me photos and updates on both my dogs and the garden which I was worried about due to the drought we had been having in April and part of May. She sent photos and luckily it rained a lot while I was gone. Both my dogs were looking happy when I returned home as well as in the photo updates she sent. Since she works her job online, she was able to be a stable presence while I was gone which worked out very well. I would hire her again, and recommend her.”

“Ivette arrived early and sent videos throughout the day of my fur baby. I enjoyed receiving them and seeing how he enjoyed his time with her. I felt comfortable leaving him with her. I would recommend Ivette to petsit your fur baby. Thank you! April”

Blaise was available pretty last minute and did an awesome job watching our 2 dogs and 2 cats! One of our dogs is diabetic and requires insulin and she asked all the right questions and knew exactly what to do with her injections! Our pets felt very comfortable with her and she communicated with us throughout her stay. She took great care of our house as well. Will definitely be rebooking 😊

We met Tonya for our meet and greet. She wss so loving and kind. Our dogs loved her from the minute they meet her. She did an amazing job watching the dog's and our home while we were away. She sent us pictures and videos every day. We also came home to a spotless house. We will definitely be using her in the future.

Kalee was an exceptional sitter. She was punctual, kept me informed with multiple updates, and meticulously maintained our puppy’s schedule. Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wesley Chapel South walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wesley Chapel South maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wesley Chapel South choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
