With over five years of professional zoological animal care experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of species of animals, including reptiles, birds, and both large and small mammals. In addition, I have over two decades worth of experience caring for domesticated animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. Animals have always been a part of my life; as an only child, my childhood dog was my best friend & I was hired for the first time by my neighbor to pet sit her cat when I was 8 years old. Caring for animals is my passion. While I had to leave my zoo job to pursue a more stable career, I’m eager to fill that void by spending time with animals whenever I can! Whether they have fur, scales, or feathers, I enjoy hanging out and getting to know their personalities all the same. From training puppies and bottle-feeding newborn kittens to deworming goats and nursing elderly animals, I’ve done it all. No matter the species, size, or stage of life, I’m your go-to animal expert!

I prefer watching pets in their own home, with a new person, the less factors we have to change the better it is for your pet. I do like the discuss expectations, special requirements, and any important info before hand. I will (with your permission) send you pictures, videos, and messages regularly to keep you in the loops about your pets!

Katelyn was absolutely amazing with Lollipop. She was on time and spent lots of time with our little girl while we were away. I would highly recommend her to everyone who wants a caring and loving person to help with your pet. She was a 10+!!!!

Katelyn is responsive and helped me out in a last minute favor to stop by and walk my dogs. We have used Katelyn a handful of times with dog walking and will leaving my dogs with her for 7 days and know they are in good hands.
Kate is great with my dogs and my dogs love her! You can tell how much of an animal lover she is! I highly recommend her.

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my current routine. I have a flexible schedule and full availability, which allows me to dedicate my time and attention to the pets in my care. Because I’m not juggling another full-time commitment, I’m able to accommodate a variety of schedules, including weekdays, weekends, early mornings, evenings, and last-minute bookings when possible. Your pet’s needs will be a top priority, and you can feel confident knowing they’ll receive consistent, attentive care.
