“Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away. We got regular updates throughout his stay and would absolutely book with Tahrena again. Nothing beats having a go-to sitter you know you can depend on! Thank you again Tahrena (and family)!!”

About: Hello, I am a dog lover, my family and I adore them. We live in a spacious house, inside the dogs are always loose and free to walk, we have a large fenceless backyard with a very nice green area to take the dogs for a walk. We have two dogs, a 4-year-old dog Penny who is a mix of Maltese and Shi Tzu and a French bulldog Coco. Penny may bark a lot at first and may not seem friendly but as the hours go by she will be relaxed. We have an 8 year old girl who loves dogs, she is obsessed with them, she is very good, gentle and kind with all animals.🫶🏻❤️ Im currently working from home, so I have a lot of time to be present for the dogs. Sometimes I have to run errands for no more than two or three hours I have a screened patio so we go outside during the morning to a little sunbath next to the pool, the can play and hang around

If I am in a clients home, I will respect the wishes set forth by them. I am able to give medicine as directed, feed animals, take them for walks, let them out to go to the restroom, and play with them to get some energy out. I will be respectful of their home and wishes of what I will be doing in that home. If the animal is at my home, I have a German shepherd who is friendly to other dogs but has never been around cats.

About: I grew up always having pets, as an adult when I didn’t have the circumstances to have my own pet, I started watching pets for all my friends. Bunnies, Dogs of all breeds, cats and more, I have watched and played with them all. I work for myself, for the most part from home, and I always love having a walking partner. Most of my work is very early in the morning or in the evening leaving me open most of the day for walks and playtime. I have a backyard, it is not completely fenced in but there is some nice grass. “Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away. We got regular updates throughout his stay and would absolutely book with Tahrena again. Nothing beats having a go-to sitter you know you can depend on! Thank you again Tahrena (and family)!!”
