I've been caring for animals my entire life, as I wanted to be a veterinarian growing up. I have 5 years of professional pet sitting experience and am skilled in puppy training basics (housebreaking, crate training, basic commands). I love working with shy or fearful pets and have endless patience helping them come out of their shells. My clients say I have a natural gift for reading animal body language and making pets feel safe and loved.

Marisol took wonderful care of my two dogs. I left for over a week on vacation with boarding full, Marisol was there to give extra special attention to my senior dog & more difficult/reactive dog. She was sure to update me the whole time with photos too. My pups absolutely adore their sitters. They got all the walks, pets & played a bunch. Can't thank her enough for all of the attention & care!
Mari has always been an animal lover. They have had pets (dogs and cats) through their entire live, and has always shown a lot of love and care towards them. Mari's cat Oogie is one of the sweetest, most loving, fun little fur buddies I have ever met. Mari has taken care of our mutual friends' pets in the past before, and always handled the task with the utmost importance.
Mari has great experience with both cats and dogs, and has done a wonderful job making friends with both of my cats, one of which is very shy!

Schedule
I work part-time as a court reporter, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for your pets. I can accommodate morning, midday, evening, or overnight visits, whatever works best for your pet's routine. My remote work setup means I'm often home and can provide extended visit times or last-minute care when you need it. I'm also available on weekends and holidays when finding reliable care can be challenging.

Whether visiting once daily or staying overnight, I prioritize your cat's comfort by maintaining their exact routine in the familiar environment of your home. I'm conscientious about home security, keeping doors locked, preventing escapes, and never advertising my or your absence. I'm also respectful of your space, keeping everything clean and following any household guidelines you provide. Daily updates with photos give you peace of mind while you're away.

A typical day
Your pet's day at my home is filled with comfort, fun, and plenty of attention! Mornings start with breakfast and walks or playtime in my backyard for dogs. Cats enjoy interactive play sessions and cozy window perches for bird watching. Throughout the day, pets have freedom to roam in safe, pet-proofed areas (no crates unless that's part of their routine). Dogs get multiple walks and outdoor play, while cats have climbing trees and scratchers. Evenings wind down with dinner, final potty breaks or play, and relaxation time on the couch. Your pet sleeps in a comfortable space, and I'm always nearby if they need anything.
