As a lifelong cat lover, caring for animals has always been one of my greatest passions. My experience truly began in high school, where I fostered multiple litters of kittens. I also volunteered with canine rescue centers, walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and with Simply Cats, an all-cat rescue where I cleaned cat rooms and helped care for the resident cats. Since then, I've welcomed nine rescue cats and one 90lb mixed lab into my own family, each with their own unique personality and story. Some were adopted through local rescues, while others found me in unexpected ways—including three tiny kittens I rescued from the engine bay of a truck at work. They were so young they required help with elimination, and around-the-clock care until they were healthy enough to thrive. Caring for my own pets has given me hands-on experience with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I've cared for cats recovering from spay/neuters, FHO surgery, managed hip dysplasia, dental procedure recovery, and administered both liquid and tablet medications to cats with a variety of temperaments. I'm also experienced with monthly flea and tick prevention, monitoring for changes in health or behavior, providing daily enrichment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and low-stress environment. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I take the time to earn their trust while following your care instructions closely. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or requires extra medical attention, I'll care for them with the same patience, attention to detail, and compassion that I give my own animals. My goal is to make sure you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, happy, and genuinely cared for.
